December 29^th 2008 Written Update

Gauri tells Jhanvi that Sid knows nothing abt her past, and how she found out this fact that day at the resteraunt, and Menka confirmed her doubt. Jhanvi falls to the floor and Gauri tells her that she didn't want her life to be based on a lie, and so she told her. Gauri tells Jhanvi to tell Sid the truth now, and she's sure he'll still accept her.

Jhanvi goes to Menka's room and confronts her about lying to Sid. Gauri enters the room and Menka understands. She points to Gauri saying she was just jealous, and that's why she told Jhanvi the truth. She tells Gauri that she only takes Jhanvi as an outsider, but Jhanvi stops her saying that Menka is at fault and not Gauri. Menka tells Jhanvi that if anyone knew abt her past, no one wud like her. Menka defends her stand but Jhanvi tells Menka that she's sure Sid will still accept her. She tells Menka that she won't marry unless Sid knows her past.

Next day all are preparing for the engagement when Gauri and Jhanvi watch everyone. Gauri advises Jhanvi to call Sid and tell him everything. When Jhanvi tries, Sid doesn't pick up. She tries his landline, but his mother picks up. She tells her that Sid is busy and she can talk to him tonite when they come over. Gauri tells her to write everything in a note, and Gauri wud deliver the note before the engagement.

Jhanvi hands the note to Gauri, and Gauri leaves to deliver it. She reaches Sid's house and hands the note to a servant, asking him to make sure it reaches only Sid's hands. The servant leaves with it, but Sid's mother calls the servant aside. He leaves the note somewhere, and it flies away where it finally reaches Sid. He is shocked to read it.
