H-E-L-L-O? Menka knew about the plan to K-I-L-L Karan. To protect herself and her position as a Garodia, she stayed quiet and let Karan DIE. Not get hurt, but to be murdered in a hideous way. Now, I'm no legal scholar, but you cannot deny the legal implications for Menka. Of course, she'll get away with it with a slap on the wrist.
Savitri is everything I hate about our gender and all people too. (And I'm sure there are shades of her in every person). Self-sacrificing for her family while people roll over them, preaching forgiveness as if it was in high fashion, remaining quiet when wrong is being done by her husband or other senior family members. She's old, and she's tired. She's like a bobble-head--says nothing, but just going through the motions of a wife And I'm just astonished. Menka KILLED her son-in-law, her relative, her daughter's husband, a truly good person that did a lot for her family. And she thinks wants Surya to rein it in? Be less angry?
I'll tell you how I would have written this scenario: I'd punch her in her face, for her selfishness and her evil nature and actions. Surya did just right, taking her mangalsutra away; I would of ripped it into a million pieces. I'd get the servants to throw out her possessions out the window to her outside. And then I'd call the police and lodge a complaint about her involvement. Rhymes with witch needs to be punished over and over and over again. Cheating people was one thing BUT being involved in killing KARAN? HELLO?
I'd glad Surya finally told everyone to shut up. I was proud of his actions, for once.
And Saviri? Lost cause. It is definitely not noble to forgive in instances that involve causing pain, anguish, or death. Those who do forgive are the very thing we people should be afraid of.
What do you guys think?
