July 23rd '08 Written Update
Karan promises the lady that he will tell Surya abt it, but wonders to himself how he will.
Preperations for the party are on in full swing, and Laxmi comes downstairs looking really pretty. Sav and the betiyaan praise her. Meanwhile Niyati goes to Kajri's room and asks her to come to the party. Kajri hands her a pendant and tells her to give it to Yuv for his bday but not to say its from her. Niyati hands it back and tells her that she will have to give it to him herself. Kajri vows to herself that she'll make sure he wears this pendant.
Karan is standing by his car [looks like it's broken down] and is wondering what to do, and how to expose this truth. He decides to just tell Laxmi abt it first. Rasik sees Karan standing there and hides behind a car. He thinks what Karan cud be doing in a bad neighborhood like this, and then wonders if he went to meet the old lady.
Rasik goes back to the old lady's house and when the lady sees him coming, she mistakes him for Karan this time and Rasik is assured that the lady told Karan everything. He tells the lady that he's Rasik, and he had warned her abt this... and now she will have to die. [They didnt show it, but I guess he kills her]
Everyone is at the party, but Laxmi is anxious since Karan has not yet arrived. Rasili is passing out sweets to everyone, also spreading the news that Kajri is pregnant with Yuvraj's child. Karan tries to call Laxmi, but it doesnt go thru. Later, Laxmi realizes Karan is calling, but is stopped by people wishing her happy bday. Karan tries on the landline and Laxmi is yet again halted.
Rasik calls Menka, and warns her that Karan now knows the entire truth and cud, at any time, expose her in front of the family. Menka is worried when just then she hears Laxmi on the phone with Karan. She dials Rasik again and tells him that they are talking on the phone, and he tells her to try and find out what they are discussing and whether or not he has told Laxmi anything yet. Rasik tells himself that now there is only one way left, and Karan will have to die. End.
Precap: Karan is walking on the road when a truck approaches him, abt to hit him.
