| The stars of the television industry set the stage on fire at the ITA Seventh Annual Awards, held recently. Many big-wigs of the television industry were conspicuous by their absence not only at the ceremony, but also among the nominees. Baa, Bahoo Aur Baby took away almost all the awards in the categories it was nominated, which led to a few raised eyebrows. The best actor (popular) award was won by Rajat Tokas for Dharti Ka Veer Prithiviraj Chauhan while best actor (jury) award went to Darshan Dave for Ghar Ek Sapna. The best actor female (popular) award was received by Divyanka Tripathi for Banoo Mein Teri Dulhan and the jury gave the award to Sarita Joshi for Baa Bahoo aur Baby Shahid Kapur presented the award to his father Pankaj Kapur for best actor (comedy) while Karan Johar won the award for best anchor (chat show). The ceremony saw brilliant performances by TV stars, which were mostly in the form of dance acts. Some of the television stars who performed at the event were Arjun Bijlani, Vikas Manaktala, Priyanka Bassi, Suhasi Parakh Madan, Kushal Punjabi, Chaitanya, Manish Raisinghania, Sumeet Raghvan, Aashka Goradia, Pulkit Samrat, Sarah Khan, Parul Chauhan, Kashmira Shah and Krishna. The other performers included Bharti Achrekar and Anjan Shrivastav (Wagle Ki Duniya), Bhavana Balsavar, Ashiesh Roy, Sooraj Thapar, Amit Mistry, Jumma Shivani and Krishna who regaled the audiences with their comic acts.
