hhmm i wish mujhe raat ko theek se neend aati 😕....i cant sleep....its been like this for couple of months...i wake up every 2hr or so 😕

Another 5 reasons why you should crack up

[1] It activates your immune system

It has been proved that the physiological response produced by belly laughter is the exact opposite of what is seen in case of stress. Research results also indicate that after a laughter session, there is an increase in activity within the immune system.

* There is an apparent rise in antibody IgA (immunoglobulin A), which fights upper respiratory tract insults and infections.


* There is also a rise in gamma interferon, which tells various components of the immune system to "turn on".

* What was also observed — an increase in IgB, the immunoglobulin produced in the greatest quantity in the body, as well as a rise in Complement 3, which helps antibodies pierce dysfunctional or infected cells. The increase in both substances was not only seen when subjects were laughing their guts out; there was a lingering effect that continued to show increased levels on the following day as well.

[2] It nips pain in the bud

A study published in the Journal of Holistic Nursing illustrates this. Patients were told one-liners after surgery and before painful medication was administered. Those exposed to humour perceived less pain, when compared to patients who didn't receive "tickle therapy".

* When you laugh, there's a decrease in stress hormones that constrict blood vessels and
suppress immune activity.

* Dopamine — which is involved in the fight-or-flight response, and is associated with elevated blood pressure — levels also dipped. Its positive emotions can enhance conventional treatments used to relieve chronic stress.

[3] It's a good workout

Laughing is an aerobic activity, and a belly laugh can be termed "internal jogging." Indulging in it fills the lungs and body with oxygen, deep-clears breathing passages, exercises lungs and works out the diaphragm. It can provide good cardiac conditioning for those who are unable to perform physical exercises.

[4] It relaxes those muscles

When you laugh your heart out, you are relaxing the muscles that do not participate in laughter. Once you've stopped laughing, the muscles that were exercised while laughing begin to relax. This step takes place in two stages.

[5] It protects your heart
A few laughs may help protect you against a heart attack, reveals a study conducted by cardiologists at the University of Maryland Medical Center, Baltimore. They found that people with heart disease were 40% less likely to laugh in a variety of situations, when compared to people of the same age who didn't suffer from heart disease. "We don't know yet why laughing protects the heart, but we do know that mental stress is associated with impairment of the endothelium, the protective barrier that lines blood vessels. This can cause a series of inflammatory reactions that lead to fat and cholesterol build-up in the coronary arteries, which could ultimately lead to a heart attack," one of the cardiologists explained.

Why it's a better stressbuster than crying

Laughing churns up the subconscious mind. Even if it reduces you to tears, you quickly give vent to your feelings and get over trauma. Continuous crying only pushes you further into the pit, giving rise to overwhelming emotions you may not be able to deal with.

oooh so sorry yasu di 😛hahaha did i spoil ur diet? i hope i didnt distract u too much! what could i do! our lill kiddo turned a goldie! i had to plan something for her 😳!!! me and neha didya starting monday!! keep it up! if you get hungry just grab a glass of water! if you want something sweet go and stand in front of the mirror!! or have an apple...!! by the way whats on february 17th? bcause valentines day ka kauno naam hi nahi lewat hai. you, neha didya and mansi di!! not planning anything with ur hubbies??
