Written Update 10/21 and 10/22

Vans sees Mit and gets scared. Sam is thinking what are you doing here. Mit gets disgusted and leaves. Vans apologizes to Sam. Sam is like what happened that you're apologizing. Vans doesn't want to create any probs for Sam especially when Kak isn't there.

Mit is in her room thinking, Sam comes in and sits next to her and says ask. Mit asks him do you think what I'm going to ask you is wrong. Sam says it depends on your viewpoint if you see the whole picture or not. Sam tells Mit about Vans. Sam says won't I feel bad if someone is crying in front of me, won't my heart melt. I can't support her but I can console her can't I. Sam asks if Mit would've felt as bad if he was with someone besides Vans. Mit says no. Sam says Vans is my past Kak is my present and future and I love her.

Meow and Dabba (A-M) are hanging lights. Utt comes and gets irritated that the preps aren't done yet. Mit says cool down. Utt gets angry and Mit for talking back to her and leaves. Dabba continues hanging lights. Mit is sad and upset at Utt.

Utt comes to Amar and starts complaining about the work that still needs to be done. Amar continues reading the newspaper. Utt starts fighting with Amar again; Sam comes in and calms her down. Utt starts babbling again and leaves all irritated.

Dev is all decked up in her room, Utt walks in and starts praising her. Dev gets shy. Utt is getting sad thinking about Dev going to her Sasural. Dev says ofcourse I will miss you, you are the best mother in the world.

Amar is talking with Jiju and asking why OS hasn't arrived yet.

Sam and Vans are talking. Sam is getting irritated that he can't through to Kak and keeps trying to call her, but her phone is switched off.

Mit and Vans bring in Dev to the main hall. Everyone is left looking at her. Jiju can't take his eyes off of her and Dev gets shy. They make Dev sit next to Jiju and they both smile at each other and blush. Ahaan says something in Jiju's ear and Jiju is like what? And then starts correcting his Hindi. They talk about something else. Utt is like complete the engagement ceremony the mahaurat is passing by. Daadi is like wait for a little while until OS and Kak come. OS walks in and is welcomed, Sam takes ashirwaad and asks about Kak. OS says she wasn't able to come right now, and lies that she is fine. Utt is still worried about getting the engagement done and is getting on everyone's nerves about getting the engagement done. Sam says not without Kak. OS says she's not here physically but is here in spirit or something like this. He will tell Sam everything after the engagement. The engagement takes place. JD take ashirwaad from the elders.

Just the family members are left. OS says the engagement is done now only the wedding is left. Sam asks about why Kak didn't come. Utt gets irritated. OS says you know how much Kak wants JD to get married despite all of the kundali chakars nothing happened because Kak is keeping a vrat so that no problem comes in the wedding. So I couldn't bring her for the wedding, how could I, so I couldn't bring her. He praises Kak and gives Sam a letter from Kak, Sam takes it. Utt is irritated and tries to eavesdrop on what's written. Sam smiles and looks at her and Utt seems to have seen a ghost or something.

Daadi praises Kak. Amar follows her in the praises. Utt is like whatever…and is irritated. OS praises the fam and says how can she not think about you all since you have shown so much love. Jiju is like OS please stop lying. Mit continues praising Kak. OS leaves.

Sam is in his room reading Kak's letter and keeps smiling to himself and talks to the letter kisses it and says I love you Kak.

Amar is thinking about something. Utt says your thinking about Dev's bidaai right. I'm also sad about that. Amar says that's true but something else is also bothering me. We thought wrong about Kak, and she has done so much for our family. Utt gets angry and says what's the big deal all girls do this after marriage. Amar is like stop dissing Kak now. Utt keeps babbling and badmouthing Kak, then tells Amar to sleep.

Dev and Mit are sleeping. Utt comes and wakes up Dev, Mit says let her sleep. Utt starts badmouthing Kak. Mit feels like spending more time with Dev. Utt seems to be getting irritated. MD continue talking and Mit teases Dev. Mit goes and hugs Utt from behind and they all start laughing.

The mehndi ceremony is taking place. Dabba walks in and is like I also want mehndi on both hands. Mit starts teasing him. M-A have a little fun with one another. Dev teases dabba. Amar walks in and praises Dev's mehndi and asks what dabba is doing here, dabba leaves. Amar asks Mit to call Utt and have her get some mehndi on her hands. Utt walks in and is overjoyed. Amar asks her to get mehndi done so you will know how much I love you. Utt says okay but you have to paint my hands. Amar is like okay and he starts applying mehndi on Utt's hands. Everyone is enjoying the AU moment. Utt is overjoyed once again. Dabba is making an announcement and everyone is looking at him. Dabba stumbles with his Hindi and begins looking at his script. Dabba and Meow are going to perform a skit with D-J's wedding as the theme. This is really funny, must watch. Someone walks through the door and dabba is like Kakul bhabhi, everyone turns their attention to the door and get happy. Utt gets tensed.
