Firstly, happy new year. Just read all 4 chapters. Beautiful and emotional story. It firstly highlights a very important point of the consequences of our actions. We are constantly reminded of making sure that when we are behind the wheel of a car, we are not speeding, drunk, on our mobile phones and not distracted to grab something or even change the radio station. One mistake and you may take the life of someone with you, someone out on the road and also your own. You will end up destroying families, as in this case and living with the guilt and darkness all your life. I understand a parents concern and love for their child and as hard as it is, justice and punishment is there for a reason. Geet and her family would have been able to accept that Maan accepted his mistake, was remorseful and got his punishment and they would have got justice. When justice does not prevail, then revenge is a consequence of that.
I feel sorry for both Geet and Maan. At the end, there will be no winners but I hope Geet realises that Maan made a mistake and has been living with the guilt and she has it in her heart to finally forgive once he accepts his mistake and accepts the punishment by law. Looking forward to reading how she manages her revenge and the heartache that is going to come to all. Thanks again!
