M- I saw earlier that Tia was crying at her way home because she lost her doll

Aadya- Really?

Maan nods

Flashback of Maan throwing away the doll

Present -

M- It's bcoz she leaves her things anywhere. You should never do that

Aadya- Okay

M- Now let's eat

It was the wedding day.

Maan was getting dressed in the sherwani that Geet’s parents had asked him to wear

As he was buttoning up the sherwani; Geet enters

G- Ye nahi. Ye pehno

She hands over the black raincoat to him

Maan frowns in confusion

M- Yeh?

G- Pehno naa

She asks him sweetly while stepping up to help him wear the raincoat

She pulls over the hoodie as well

Maan is observing her intently

She moves back to take a good look at him

G- Nah! Nahi pehchaan paa rahi

M- Kya hua? Mujhe raincoat kyun pehna rahi ho

He says with a very emotion devoid tone

G- Yaad hai uss raat tumne ye raincoat pehna tha. Aur pata hai woh reporter ke murder wale case mein bhi uss murderer ne raincoat pehna tha. Joh hu TV pe dekh rahe the

Maan scoffs and quickly removes the raincoat

M- Toh kya hua? Raincoats like these are common

Geet’s gaze is fixed on him

M- Or do you think I went out in the middle of the night and committed murder?

Geet chuckles at his words

G- When you came in like this that day toh main tumhe pehchaan nahi paayi kuch pal ke liye. I was scared.

He gives a rehearsed smile while gazing at her face while she continues

G-But agar main tumhe nahi pehchaan paayi toh woh witness itni sure kaise hai ki usne khooni ko saaf saaf dekha hai

M- Khooni ko kisne dekha hai?

He asks with a serious tone

She looks up at him with a meaningful look

G- Kisi ne dekha hai. Mujhe kya pata. News mein hai

He nods

M- Waise tumhe achanak itni dilchaspi…

G- well…i like mysteries you know that

She says with a shrug to lighten the situation

M- That’s why I told you to continue being a detective

She shrugs again

G- Waise late ho raha hai. Main bhi ready ho jaati hoon

He nods, while walking out of the room

He stops midway

M- Waise…

She looks towards him

M- You need me to help you?

He says with a slight rakish grin

Her eyes widen and her cheeks acquire a color while she vigorously shakes her head

Maan goes to the backyard away from all the crowd and the hustle

His heart feels heavy

He is looking at the full moon

He sits there alone for few long minutes

He puts his hand inside the pocket and finds those earrings still there

He had seen Geet’s sadness while buying the lehenga for her sister

He knows she is not jealous of her sister, just misses what her sister has in her life she doesn’t

Who would know better than him that how difficult it is to live with a secret

It is is suffocating

It kills you everyday

It kills you every moment

Hence he had bought these earrings for her

He had hoped these would cheer her up a little

He had decided to gift these to her before the wedding so she could wear them in the wedding

He puts them into his pocket

Maybe some other day

He hopes

Nice update, Is Geet suspicious about Maan as a murderer?? What will happen if he is a murderer will geet punish him

amazed that Geet put the raincoat on Maan

she even questioned Maan

of cos Maan confronted Geet

seems like Geet was suspicious of Maan

liked Maan teasing Geet

Maan's thoughts were reasonable

at least he knew what Geet was going through

what secret is Maan hiding

glad that Maan bought earrings for Geet

will he ever give it to her?

Geet must be believing that Maan is somehow

involved in the murder

while Maan had bought earrings for Geet but keeps them in his pocket

So Geet has seriously started her investigation on this & she is trying her best to clear her doubts and even Maan is up to something more

I loved how Maan had planned to gift her earrings as he had seen Geet upset in the ceremonies as she doesn't have any one special

Story on its own is going great.. unlike Geet, I highly doubt that Maan is a murderer.. he is stuck in a situation himself or else he would have confessed his love for Geet.

My personal opinion- he loves Geet more than she loves him..

Thing that I am missing for now is the romance part of Maaneet, for which they are adored… I will patiently wait for romance to hit, esp from Geet’s side as her emotions feel more dry than Maan’s here…
