Sab log start conversing with him and dragging him into various discussions and jokes... thodi der baad koi dekhe to lagega ki Maan actual employee hai and Geet uski wife, guest hai party mein

Geet also thinks ki he sure can charm anyone when he wants to... isse bachke rehna chahiye.. kitna act hai to get something out of her and kitna genuine hai... Kya pata

Party is going very well

He is getting along well with everyone

He figures out ki party kaafi time se planned thi but Geet didn't want to invite him

He feels a bit... what is it? Heartburn? Disappointed? Acidity?

He doesn't know…but decides if Geet doesn't want to involve him then woh bhi nahi hoga

Ek collegue randomly says ki –

‘Aapko itne khatre mein darr nhi lagta?’

M-....

Maan is perplexed

'Humein Geet ne sab bata diya hai'

He is wondering kya bata diya hai, how much does she know

' Aap Bandipur National Park mein forest officer hain naa'

Maan hides his frown ki ye Geet ne kya kya kahaaniyan phaila rakhi hain

'Aur issi liye toh aap dono shaadi ke baad durr durr rehte ho naa'

Geet is also worried ki ye Maan ab kya bolega

M- Main durr isliye shaanti se reh paata hoon ki mujhe pata kia ap log Geet ka khayal rakhne ke liye

He nods his head and comes up with his ever-charming answer ki lage hi nahi ki this was something new to him

Sab fan ho gaye uske

‘Geet toh kuch bolti hi nahi, aura ap toh itne hassmukh ho’

Maan smiles

M- Geet ko meri tension bhi toh itni rehti hai naa

‘How romantic! You cant stop gushing about her. Geet’ you are so lucky to have him’

Geet also gives a smile while rolling her eyes inside

‘Aap dono ki toh love marriage hi hogi naa’

M- Haan

G- Nahi

Maan & Geet turn their heads and look at each other

The people around are confused

Maan is also looking at her

G- woh…mere papa ne hamari shaadi kara di

Geet says

‘Toh love kaise hua?’

G-eemmm.woh….

M- Hum pehle se ek dusre ko pasand karte the toh pata chalne par ghar walon ne shaadi kara di

Maan comes up with a believable story

‘Geet, tum bhi toh Maan ko miss karti hogi jab who durr the’

G- Karti thi

She answers thinking of those years when she waited for Maan to communicate with her

She sighs and looks down with a heavy heart

Maan looks at her

M- Karti thi?

His question has sincere genuinity

She looks up at him as their eyes meet

‘Aur Maan tum apni Geet ko miss karte the?’

M- Karta tha….sochta rehta tha kab milne aunga…kab dekh paunga

He answers while gazing at Geet

She feels a light tingle on her skin as she hears him

Geet! Shake it off. Ye bass log saamne hain isliye aisa keh raha hai. It doesn’t mean anything

Geet berates herself

On the way back Geet drives the Car because Maan had a few drinks

Car stops mid-way

M- Kya hua? Yaha kyun rokdi hai?

G- Car roki nahi hai. Rukk gai hai

M- Phir se try karo

G- Try kar chuki hoon. Tumhe kya zaroorat thi uss creep landlord se Car maangne ki? Usne de di ab ye khataara

Both end up on the dark secluded road looking for an auto

But unlike the last time when she was in similar situation due to the storm this time, she is not fearful, maybe because Maan is with her

Maan finds an auto-rikshaw, speaks to the driver and asks Geet to sit

M- Baitho

Geet gets in first

Maan gets in after her

As the auto starts the cool breeze on Geet skin & hair is feeling very pleasant

It’s the first time she is seeing the City so late

She was also aware of left side of her body touching his as seat was not wide enough

Was he also aware of their bodies touching; Geet wonders

She speaks up after a while

G- I am sorry

M- Huh?

G- Aapko meri wajah se inn logon ke saath interact karna padh gaya

M- No….I liked it. Tum…

He pauses

She looks at him

M- Tum pehle bata deti mujhe

She sighs

G- Mujhe laga aapko nahi aana hoga. Sorry, maine aapke bare mein sab ko ye sab keh rakha hai…ye sab jhoothi kahaniyan…jab ki aapne toh kisi ko...

M- No, its okay. I understand

G- Aap annual party mein nahi aana chahte toh its okay

M- Nahi, mujhe problem nahi hai jane mein. Tumhe nahi hai toh…

G- Thik hai phir, maine ek nayi saree kharidi hai party ke liye; wapas nahi karni padegi

She blurts out happily

He grins seeing her smile

He finally saw a glimpse of the chirpy Geet he knew

I think it's high time Maan should speak his heart out to Geet as from Geets pov her reactions are obvious & it's only Maan who can handle & make her realize that he loves her

Party was amazing & Maan carefully replied to every question on them 👍 Geet too was bit surprised at this as she wasn't expecting this from Maan

Last part giving explanations was cute & Maan was bit at ease at the entire office staff of Geet 😊

Fabulous Update

Now Maan and Geet really needs to talk

to each other

as she believes whatever Maan said and did at the party

was just for colleagues.

but glad at least Geet is slowly warming up to him again

Cutest chapter. Loved how the teammates are playing cupid for Maaneet. Both confessing that they were in each other's thoughts and missed each other was so very adorable. Liked the way the answered the questions about love and their marriage. And Maan being supportive and giving thoughtful answers was admirable. Super excited that they will go to the party together
