Part – 91

Later that night…

Maan is thinking about Geet and is not able to sleep…

He has already started missing her and can’t concentrate on hiwork...

He thinks that it was big mistake to come to Bangalore leaving his lovely wife... that too after Geet declared that she loves him and him only, and that Maan is her first love…

Geet told him that she realized what it really felt to be in love with someone only after Maan left her….

Maan thinks about that night when Geet broke down after coming back to KM…

Maan was in his room and as usual busy with his work…

Geet who was trying to confront him alone somehow was looking for the right time…

That was just before she fell ill… after the failed attempt of Vicky to bring them together… then too Maan didn’t give her a chance to open up and pour her heart out….

Geet was desperate to just tell Maan how she felt and how badly she needed him…. Then it would be left for Maan to decide anything about this relationship…

She was at the mansion with Annie and Anirudh… after they both fell asleep Geet sneaked out looking for Maan..

She came to his room in search of him…

Going back to the past…

Geet knocks gently seeing the lights on…

Maan should be awake only…

Maan knows that it is Geet…

Maan doesn’t respond… he tries to ignore her….

Geet knocks again… she finds out that the door is not locked…

She decides to step in no matter what… she is here to save her love and she is still his wife…

Geet opens the door and quietly gets in… she closes the door behind when Maan finds out that she is actually in his room…

Maan gets angry and comes to send her back…

He is shocked to see her guarding the door… .

Maan: tummare himmat kaise hui yahan aane ki?

Geet: mein yahan kyun nahi aa sakti? Ye mera bhi kamra hai, mein abhi bhi aap ki biwi hoon

Maan: jab meine tumme apne zindagi se hi nikaal diya hai toh tum yahan aake kya kar sakti ho?

Geet: jaise aapki haq hai mujhe nikaalne ki, mujhe bhi haq hai ek aakhri moka ki

Geet looks at him in despair…

Geet has been thinking about what he said that night at that fake inauguration….

She never knew he was so much in love with her … she had no idea that he would love someone like her when he has not even shaken by the beauty of Sameera, she is now a budding actress in bollywood…

Geet: aap ko kaise mujhse pyar hua? Ye mujhe samajh hi nahi aatha, sach mein mujhe pehle patha hotha ki aap ke andar itna bada majnu hai toh shayad mein ye shadi nahi karti, mujhe laga aap ko pyar ya shadi se koi matlab nahi, aap usse sakt nafrat karte ho

Ye toh sach hai, par Maan ko hi nahi patha chala ki woh Geet se milke kaise badal gaya…

Geet ko kya patha ki Maan koi teenager nahi hai jo aaise dream girls se usko pyar ho sake… his love for Geet was something never expected, not even by Maan… it’s insane that he kept loving her though she said that she loved somone else, he knew his love is one sided but he was ok with it then, but only when he started expecting the same from her, he ended up hurting himself…

Geet has slowly started understanding his love, and how he had always treated her like his princess… but why is he denying it now?

Geet: mujhe ek baat bathao, jab aap mujhse pyar nahi karte toh aap kaise kehte ho ki meine aapka dil dukhaya? Aap ne aaise kyun kaha ki aap dubara wahi galti nahi karoge? Aap samajhte kyun nahi ki sacha pyar aaisi galti hai ki jo ek bar ho gaya toh usse teek nahi kar sakte, uska koi reverse button nahi hota, pyar galat aadmi se ho sakta hai par pyar galat nahi ho sakta hai, hum chahe toh bhi ussko bhool nahi sakte

Maan remains silent… let her do whatever she wants, but she has lost him forever, that’s for sure…

Geet: aap ko ek baat bathaana hai, aap kya sochte ho? Yahi ki mein yahan se jaake kissi aur se shadi karoongi?

Maan knows that she is talking about Dev… but it’s not about Dev anymore… it’s about Maan, and how she ignored his love… he can’t forget how he was betrayed again and again….

Geet: uss pyar toh ek galatfami thi, meinne kabhi Dev se pyar nahi kiya tha, shayad mein Dev se milli hi nahi ho toh mein aapko khothi nahi?, mujhe toh pehle patha bhi nahi tha ki pyar kya hota hai, kaise hotha hai, par jaise bhi mujhe bhi pyar ho hi gaya, MSK se

Maan is not interested in her stories now, he knows how they easily fool him…

She can go marry anyone, if not Dev, but she has no right to reclaim his love, his love is not that cheap that she can avail it at her convenience…

He gave her many chances more than what she deserved, and now there is no more space for her dramebazi…

Geet: jab aap mujhse bichadke mujhse dhoor jaane lage, tab mujhe ehsaas hua ki haan, mujhe pyar ho gaya hai, aur woh bhi aapse, aap mano ya na mano, par mujhe patha hai ki meine sirf Maan Singh Khurana se pyar kiya hai, karti hoon aur zindagi bar karti rahoongi, aap chaho toh bhi mujhe rokh nahi sakte

Geet is in tears looking at Maan unmoved by her truth, she is only upset that he didn’t recognize her true love which he was always searching for…. Maybe she is too late to realize her own love that she has lost his love…

Maan keeps watching her not yet ready to believe what she said… her mind keeps changing every other day.. he knows that she will forget him like she has forgotten that Dev and is lying that she loves MSK now that she knows that she has a better choice, Maan is not an option to choose from, he is the one and only MSK, he has not put himself out for anyone to choose between other options…

Maan is not yet healed, she has hurt so bad that his heart is wounded permanently…

Geet keeps watching him for a while….

Maan has turned cold, he has already been exhausted and there is no more feelings left in him, he is back in his robot self, void and broken beyond repair….

Maan: now you can’t even hurt me Geet, I’ve learnt to protect myself better, maybe your arrows have no more space left to aim at

Geet doesn’t want to hurt him more, though he may pretend to be unaffected, she knows he is hurting himself more and more whenever she tries to uncover that fake shield of his…

Geet quietly leaves never to return or disturb him again, from then she herself started distancing herself from Maan…

Maan now realizes that she was not faking that time and she genuinely didn’t know what she was doing in the beginning… she didn’t mean to hurt him, she was in the idea that he is immune to love, and he didn’t have any idea of marrying anyone, let alone Geet….

Maan just wants to tell Geet that he loves her one more time… but she is too busy and looks like she has no time for MSK…

Geet has forgotten to call him…

Maan was awaiting her call…

But after coming here Geet had no time to think about Maan… she was overwhelmed by the love showed by the Sharmas….

And she didn’t miss Maan for she was entertained with Maan’s childhood stories by Aswin and Rohini…

Now she understands that what she had done to Maan by keeping away from him after the marriage… though Maan keeps his feelings within himself, Geet has understood that he is longing for love and affection, the kind of attention that he misses, after being pushed into parenthood at the stage when he was still a child, who himself needed the love and care of his parents ….

But he silently ignored his own yearnings and made sure that he was the only one who suffered their parents’ loss and not his little sister and brother…

Rohini told Geet about Sheetal, her close friend… Geet did not know much about Sheetal…

Rohini told Geet how Sheetal used to give all her love and attention to Maan only after his birth and how her sudden demise would have deprived Maan of everything he had overnight…

Geet realized how lucky she is that she did have a lovely childhood at Beas, and is still getting all the pampering of her nanu…

Though Geet has stayed with her grandparents, she didn’t miss the love of her parents who visited her every weekend along with her elder sister, Pari and Maninder does love Geet a lot and always complained about leaving her alone at Beas…

But Geet was happy at Beas, more than she would have been at Hoshiarpur…

Maninder did whatever he could, even going against Darji to put Geet in college… but only after the Dev fiasco that everyone stopped blindly supporting Geet, even Ranno for that matter…

Geet now understands her parents love and how she didn’t know the value of it blinded by her stupid notions of being a independent woman..

After seeing Dadima, Annie, Rohini and Raksha, Geet has understood that marriage doesn’t actually curb a woman’s freedom, but it’s up to the girl to find it in any situation like Rohini…

Rohini is also from a orthodox punjabi households, but unlike her sister’s who are happy to be their husbands subordinates, Rohini is in charge of her family, it’s not that she is earning or she is financially independent, but she has won her husband’s respect and admiration with her love and smartness…

Though she is dominating Aswin at home and at KM, she gives him due respect when they are with her family… Geet has seen that at the wedding itself… there she putt Aswin first and was a proud Mrs. Aswin Sharma then…

Geet was surprised why Aswin is happy to let Rohini dominate in their household, but now Geet understands that just like Rohini respects Aswin in front of her relatives, Aswin too gives back that respect to her in his family…

It’s all mutual and Geet now feels bad for she was always been at the receiving end, and she got angry with Maan unnecessarily when she stopped receiving his love not knowing that Maan was tired of waiting for her to reciprocate, she broke his heart when he tried to open it only for her after so many years…

Geet now understands her mistake, she just wants to give him the love and care that he has missed all these years in abundance….

Geet sneaks out of the room after confirming that Raksha is asleep and goes to the veranda to call Maan…

Nice update. Geet confessed to Maan. Geet comes to about from the Sharmas about his childhood how he couldn't enjoy as he had to grow up very early to take care of his siblings.

Fabulous and so Realistic

Maan at first had thought that Geet is just playing

with his emotions once again

and when she realized that she is hurting Maan , Geet kept her distance

making Maan realize that this time its true Geet realized her love

Geet learning more about Maan and feels bad for her behavior

Aww. Now finally realized how much she hurt maan. No wonder he had built a wall. But then see g her such he could not hold himself back. And all turned out well

Now he is waiting eagerly for her and madam is busy living with Sharma’s but talking about him and learning more about him

hope she surprises him in Bangalore

Maan assumes that Geet in not serious

so she goes to meet him

of cos Maan is guarding himself from further pain

now Geet understands the extent that she hurt him

well with Geet keeping her distant, Maan understands that she really loves him

Glad that Geet got to learn about Maan's past and how he craves for love

she understands her mistake and will give Maan all the care and love he deserves
