At Mumbai…

Gayathri keeps thinking about what dadi told for a couple of days…

She also keeps a watch on Dev…

She is surprised to see the changes in Dev, how did she miss that?

Dev freely bonds with Pari, he is more confident in his moves as there is no line to break as in Geet’s case…

The two look like each other’s company and there is definitely something developing between them which is beyond friendship…

Gayathri knows her son well, he won’t take a call that easily, she has to do something on time, if this is true….

Dev is not getting any younger to wait for yet another chance…

After she is convinced that these two are made for each other, Gayathri decides to go ahead with Dadi’s proposal… this rishtha has come from the ladki’s side, so it’s up to her now…

Gayathri calls Dev to talk about the latest turn of events…

Gayathri: Dev, I think it’s time for us to talk openly

Dev: aap kya baat karna chahte hai mom?

Gayathri: aapki shadi ki baat, aur kya?

Dev: Geet ko aane dijiye

Gayathri: wahi baat Dev, hum Geet ki baat kar na cahte hai aur khaas kar ke Pari ke barein mein bhi baat karna chahte hai

Dev is surprised….

Dev: aap ko kya patha?

Gayathri: hum ko sab patha chal gayi hai

Dev: Geet se baat hui kya?

Gayathri: jab aap hi humse baat nahi kar paye toh bechari Geet kaise karenge?

Dev: phir kisne baat ki? Maan?

Gayathri: toh aap pehle hi Maan ko jaanthe hai kya?

Dev: mujhe thoda andaza tha, aur badh mein sab patha chal gaya

Gayathri: Geet ne usko kaise maaf kiya hai?

Dev: ye un donno ki aapas ki baat hai mom, aap kamakaam pareshaan mat ho

Gayathri: shayad aap teek kehthe hai

Dev: aap ko kaise patha chala?

Gayathri: Maan ki dadiji ne bathaya tha

Gayathri: shayad Geet ki taraf se unhonne baat ki ho, ab hum aap ke baat karthe hai

Dev: I’m happy for Geet

Gayathri: and what about you?

Dev: I may have found my happiness too

Dev: mom, aap yahan beite beite sab kuch kaise patha lagathe hai, hats off to you

Gayathri: hum budhe logon ko ek dusre ki sahara banne ki aadat hai beta, Dadi ne hi ye baat bhi humme bathaya

Dev: very clever dadi

Gayathri: aap kahe toh hum dadi se baat shuru karte hai

Dev: haan, aap Geet ki shadi ki baat hi kar rahe haina?

Gayathri: nahi Dev, unhonne Pari ki shadi ki baat hi ki

Dev: what? I doubt if Pari has any idea about it

Pari stops when she sees Gayathri…

Pari: maaji aap baat kar rahe hai, mein badh mein aathi hoon

Gayathri: rukh jao beta, hum aap hi ke baat kar rahe the

Pari looks at Dev for answers…

Dev just smiles…

Dev: come on, join us Pari, now you are a part of the family too, haina mom?

Gayathri: sahi hai, aakhir ye hummari bahurani haina

Dev: honewali, so, congrats Pari

Pari is bewildered… what’s is going on?

How could Dev disclose everything to his mother without her knowledge?

She has a family too… what about her family, they have no clue about it, they think she is with Maan Khurana, Annie’s bhai….

They should be informed about Dev first, isse pehle shadi ki baat?

Pari: Dev, why didn’t you tell me?

Dev: what?

Pari: about talking to aunty and that too you went to the extent of planning our wedding

Dev: for your kind information, it’s news to me just like it’s for you

Dev: lagtha hai ki ye Maan ka kaam hai, uski Dadima ne mom se shadi ki baat ki

Pari: you know all the elders in our family are no more, after bhai’s shadi, babhi’s Dadi, Savithri Dadima is considered as the elder member of our family too, papa, bade papa sab unke batein ko bahut respect karthe hai, it’s like her voice is the final verdict for our family

Dev: she’s like Bahubali’s Rajmatha, only she could convince mom so easily and I’m impressed how she managed all the complications

Pari: haan, I should talk to my parents immediately, if Dadima tells them before that, then what will my parents think about me?

Dev: good, what will you tell them? You are in love with that Dev, Geet’s husband and the father of Aditi?

Maan: dulha Dulhan toh tum dono hi hai, that much I can assure you, bakhi toh dadi decide karenge, in fact she has decided everything

Maan: I think the wedding is in Delhi, and strictly family only, you know the pandemic

so loved maan and dev bonding...its like brothers from different mothers...very nice...maan not willing to share aditi eh...hmmmwonder how aditi will react once she sees dev...will she ignore maan?
