COMMISSIONER OF POLICE (CP) PRADYUMAN
59yr.old. Head of CBI team in India (Writer’s liberty). CBI’s head office is in Mumbai. Commissioner Pradyuman’s core team consists of Abhijeet, Daya, Sachin, Poorvi, Freddy, Pankaj, Rajat etc. and are mainly stationed in Mumbai. Commissioner Pradyuman is soon to retire. Commissioner Pradyuman is very fond of Maan and his working style therefore refuses to let Maan go and often calls him on some special cases as “Undercover” CBI Officer.
EX DEPUTY COMMISSIONER OF POLICE (Ex-DCP) MAAN SINGH KHURANA (MAAN)
40yr. old. He use to be the Head of CBI Division in Delhi. But now has resigned from CBI’s active service as he feels that when he could not prevent his wife’s disapperance (according to Maan) and protect her from Dev, how will he protect residents of his country? However Commissioner Pradyuman refuses to let him go and calls Maan on some special cases as “Undercover” CBI Officer. Seeing his grandmother extremely unhappy in his presence he has now moved to Khurana Outhouse so that he is close to his grandmother in any emergency but not in front of her eyes. Maan can no longer stay in Police staff quarters as he is no longer is CBI’s active service.
For Maan there use to be only black & white (good & bad) in the world and no shades of grey both in his professional as well as personal life! But now he feels that he is Geet’s culprit and should be given a tough punishment. Since Geet’s disappearance (according to Maan), Maan has become even more impatient and short-tempered than before but he doesn’t raise his voice on anyone anymore. Maan also now does not cross the line of deceny and human rights no matter how angry he is!
Maan still has looks that girls just die for as he exhausts himself to sleep every night by his vigorous workout! He is still handsome despite of his long and unkempt hair with shaggy stubble on his face but now his body has bulging muscles and 8pack abs. Women flitter around him like moths around a flame but he is totally ignorant of them as in his heart and his mind only HIS MISHTY is there! He hopes to find her some day as he is very sure that she is alive. He longs to get the love and warmth of his Dadimaa and Krish bhai but he is now loosing hope of ever getting them. Once his Krish bhai moved to UK, Maan was appointed as Managing Director (MD) of Khurana Constructions in India. Maan has done Bachelors in Architecture but could not do M.B.A as he went for training in IPS (Indian Police Service).
DEPUTY COMMISSIONER OF POLICE (DCP) ADITYA MISHRA (ADI)
38yr. old. He use to be second in Command of CBI team in Delhi. But now he is DCP and Head of CBI Division in Delhi. He wears spectacles and has put on a little weight after his marriage hence making him look a tough CBI officer! He is married to Priyanka or as Geet use to call her “Pinky”. Adi’s physique is still lean but extremely fit. Adi is an extremely intelligent and astute man which people often see in his encounters. Adi tries to work within the framework of deceny and human rights but he no longer treats hardened criminals with respect and decency. He is still very devoted to Maan and is extremely concerned about Maan’s physical and emotional health especially since his family has boycotted him.
SAVITRI DEVI KHURANA
80 yr. Old. Chairperson of Khurana Corporate. Savitri Devi was a firm believer of woman’s dignity and woman’s right. She was an advocate of human rights as well as being a Women’s Activist. But now she is mainly confined to her room as Savitri Devi is suffering from extreme guilt that she was unable to protect Geet from her untimely demise. Savitri Devi has lost her ability to speak since Geet’s last rites were done. She also doesn’t like to be in the room if Maan is present.
KRISHAN SINGH KHURANA (Krish)
45yr old CEO of Khurana Investment & Banking in India and abroad. He is Savitri Deviji’s eldest grandson and heir of Khurana Corporate. He is now living in UK with his wife Anuradha, his son Aryan and his daughter Sangeeta. Krish is a kind and a true gentleman but he has ferocious temper when angry. He was and is still Maan’s role model. But now after the demise of Geet, although he has not boycotted Maan like his grandmother but he talks to Maan only when necessary. Krish feels that Maan never treated Geet with respect and humanity when she was alive and now is only doing melodrama of being broken after Geet’s demise. Although Krish was not keen to make Maan the Managing Director (MD) of Khurana Constructions but he needed to concentrate on opening of Khurana Investment & Banking in UK. Also, Arnav coaxed him to do so as well so that Maan doesn’t go into depression thereby Khuranas loosing Maan permanently!
ANURADHA KHURANA (Anu)
40yr. old “Khurana khandaan’s badi bahu”. Although she is daughter-in-law of the family but Savitri Deviji always has and still treats her like a “daughter”. She feels that Geet was a divine soul as Geet was the one who had always told Anuradha not to loose hope and she will definitely become a mother again and that too of a daughter and thats why when her daughter was born they named her Sangeeta.
Dr. ARNAV SINGH KHURANA
36yr. old Psychiatrist. He use to love to party and have a nice time but now he prefers to spend his free time at home with his wife, Khushi. The girl he detested at the first meeting is now his backbone. He feels totally lost if is she not at home with him. He misses his "Babydoll" a lot as Geet had filled his longing for a friend cum sister whom he could tease and pour out his innermost feelings i.e. his love for Khushi which he could not confide in his elders. Arnav is the only one who behaves with Maan with compassion. Arnav as a Psychiatrist knows that if he also boycotts Maan like rest of the family, Maan can go into further depression from where it will be very difficult to bring him back to sane world of living.
KHUSHI KUMARI SINGH KHURANA
27yr. old. Senior Dietician in Khurana Hospitals. She is the one who has managed Khurana kitchen and Khurana family since she entered Khurana Mansion after her marriage. Anuradha had concieved Sangeeta as soon as Khushi was married. Whereas Savitri Devi was dealing with her own pain and guilt. Initially Khushi was so busy that she had no time to miss Geet who was like a sister to her rather than friend. Geet and Khushi were brought up in similar background compared to Pinky and hence their bonding was stronger. But now each and every day her longing and vacuum left by Geet is increasing.
MAHARAJ VASUDEV SINGH RAJAWAT
58 yr. old ruler of Kingdom of Rajgarh, who is currently living in US. Maharaj (Yuvraj at the time of his wife’s death) Vasudev fell in love with Rajgarh’s most hated enemy, Maharaj Gajendra Rao Singhania, King of Vijaygarh’s (FICTITIOUS NAME, TITLE AND KINGDOM) daughter Rajkumari Satyabhama Singhania. It was love at first sight for both of them. For three months Yuvraj Vasudev (27yrs.) and Rajkumari Satyabhama (20yrs.) secretly met in the cottage present in no man’s land i.e. secluded cottage between Kingdom of Rajgarh and Kingdom of Vijaygarh. Unable to control their emotions any longer Yuvraj Vasudev and Rajkumari Satyabhama got married in secrecy without their respective royal families’ permission.
Newly weds moved to US on excuse of Rajkumari Satyabhama completing her graduation. After four years when Rajkumari Satyabhama’s graduation was over, the young husband and wife decided to tell their respective families about their marriage. As during the four years in US, Rajkumari Satyabhama had delivered a daughter named Rajkumari Neelakshi Vasundhara Rajawat. As the royal couple were unsure of how they will be recieved in their respective in-laws place, Maharaj Vasudev decided to leave their precious 3year old daughter with his college friend, Dr. Shashank Gupta and his family in US.
As Maharaj Vasudev had expected, on reaching their kingdoms, before they could could set a foot in either Rajgarh or Vijaygarh a shot rang out alarming the young couple. Immediately followed by, Rajgarh security men aiming at Rajkumari Satyabhama whereas as Vijaygarh’s security men aiming at Yuvraj Vasudev. Rajkumari Satyabhama died on the spot with bullet wound whereas Yuvraj Vasudev lost his memory by falling down on ground due to bullet being fired and hitting his head against a rock. Maharaj Vasudev only remembered that he is a Crown Prince and a bachelor. But five years back he regained his memory and got the legal cutody of his daughter, Neelakshi from Dr. Shashank Gupta.
RAJKUMARI NEELAKSHI VASUNDHARA RAJAWAT (Neel/ Dee)
27yr. old. One and only youngest living member of royal family of Rajgarh. She is currently living with her father, Maharaj Vasudev Rajawat in US. She was involved five year back in a terrible explosion in the Dr. Shashank Gupta‘s home in the US. In which her body was terribly burnt and disfigured. Hence, she is still recovering from her physical and emotional wounds. Due to skin grafting many of her physical bruises are recovered but her emotional trauma prevents her from leading a normal and healthy life. Due the emotional trauma she has suffered, she has now become very cold and emotionless especially towards men. Her emotions only come in open in front of her father, Advocate Ranvijay Chauhan, small babies and children. Therefore her free time is spent in orphanages and adoption homes.
She has a heart shaped face, milky white complexion, with doe-like hazel coloured eyes. She is a radiating ethereal beauty. She has an excellent figure as she practices Indian classical dance and fencing every day an hour each. But due to her being overconscious of her burnt marks she keeps her body well hidden under trousers; lady business suits (professionally) or churidaars in Indian wear. She is hesitant to wear sarees or lehangas which shows her midriff. In case if occassion demands i.e. weddings,festivals etc. she wears saree will full sleeve blouse and covered midrift. She HATES MEN as she feels that they are only after her royal title, her wealth and her status in society. She finds men imbeciles and hollow charactered i.e. no depth within.
YUVRAJ UDAYVEER MADHAV SINGHANIA
28yr. old. Crown Prince of Kingdom of Vijaygarh. Yuvraj Udayveer Madhav Singhania wanted to finally break the family fued between Rajawats and Singhanias. He is happy go lucky by temperament but is forced to keep it in check for the sake of his family. As soon as he met his sister Neelakshi he at once felt close and protective towards her. He loves to party and have a nice time. He loves to go to discotheque.
KUNWAR RAGHAVENDRA KHANDELWAL
55yr. old eldest son of yesteryears actress Kaamini Khandelwal. Raghav and Dev were step (half) brothers!
Currently Kunwar Raghavendra (Raghav) is in jail for murder of his sister-in-law Naintara Khandelwal (Dev’s wife) as well as attempt to murder Miss Geetanjali Singh Chauhan. Raghav’s mother, Kamini had intense (affair) relationship with Late Maharaj Yashvardhan Rajawat (current Maharaj Vasudev’s father) 56yrs. back. Kunwar Raghavendra (Raghav) wanted to prove that he is Maharaj Yashvardhan Rajawat’s son even if he is illegimate so that he can claim legal maintainence for his mother and himself. But Maharaj Yashvardhan was always sceptical of Raghav’s paternity, hence, got his and Raghav’s DNA test done in secrecy without Kamini and Raghav’s knowledge. As the DNA did not match, Maharaj Yashvardhan did not leave any property or assests for Kamini’s son, Raghav. Maharaj Yashvardhan was extremely ashamed of his relationship with Kaamini Khandelwal and wanted to keep it hidden but Kunwar Raghavendra left no stone unturned to cause a scandal hence, Rajawat royal family moved to UK. Maharaj Yashvardhan’s legitimate son, Yuvraj Vasudev Rajawat had already moved to US due to a traumatic and tragic incident occurring in his life 28yrs. back. As Chauhan family have ‘Power Of Attorney’ for Palace of Rajgarh, they were Kunwar Raghavendra’s prime enemy until demise of Geetanjali.
