Oh so Maan when he first saw Geet he liked her but then he saw her

with Arjun and misunderstood that she is Arjun's sister while Annie was crying

and Arjun was angry this made Maan take the step to forcefully marry Geet so that

he is close to his sister but now again he misunderstands that Geet is getting engaged

lovely update maan is so dumb i mean he is msk how can he do such a big blunder gaddha so his sister married his rival arjun she loves him and tired to kill herself so arjun had no choice but to marry her though vicky and rest of family tried to accept him but when maan saw how annie was crying and arjun angry he assumed that arjun hurt his princess he seeing arjun calling geet as di thought her to be his sister not knowing she is armaan sister and married her but next day fumed to see geets so called engagement news in papers boy talk about major misunderstanding

Annie got married to Arjun against her family's wish yet her family was happy for her and supported her decision. Maan witnessed to see Arjun addressing Geet as di hence thought Geet to be Arjun's sister. So, by marrying Geet ,Maan can stay close to Annie and will happy to get married to his lady love. He is under misconception and he doesn't know Geet's true identity and reality. On seeing newspaper about Ms. Malik's engagement with Mr. Modi angered him as he thought Geet got engaged to someone else being after being claimed as his wife.
