aww Maan is jealous of Ayush! enjoyed Maaneet's banter! Ha ha Maan pretends to be disinterested but wants to know why Ayush is there!

so sweet of Ayush to bring the hard drive and chocs for Geet! I feel that Ayush likes Geet!

as expected Maan is watching them! did not like Maan accusing Geet! liked Geet's response! Maan was jealous and possessive and using his anger to hide his feelings!

sad that he was fighting with her.... at least Geet was being honest and direct with Maan! agree with her that Maan should trust her!

hated Maan's comments! Geet was right about insecurities and misunderstandings! Maan was behaving childish!! how can Maan say that he will never fall for her? seems like he is already falling for her!

liked how Geet handled the situation! she behaved maturely!

finally Maan completed his task!! can understand his feelings! Geet's behavior did hurt him! he felt insecure as she did not chose to share her problems with him!

Gosh she finds him cute and he is annoyed! adore this bold and teasing Geet!

wow he gave her a list of must watch movies!

Chapter 82: it is not easy to please in-laws and also be happy. Tara is being an extremely tolerant daughter-in-law. Why can’t the mothers let go of their sons after the marriage and let daughter-in-law take care of everything. Shouldn’t they also take retirement from running the house and spend time either serving the God or mankind- like some social service. Most of the problems come because of this fight for importance. Hope Tara can relax and enjoy the trip. This is what I like about your story. It is so close to real life. Wonderful update.

Accidents- they are sometimes life changing events . Meera is another strong woman in this story and I admire her. She understands her husband so well. I hope he comes out of his depression and finds a way to overcome and fight it. Open communication with life partner is the first step for a happy married life. It doesn’t matter if a person is disabled, but with the support of his life partner, family , anyone can overcome any challenges life throws . I vaguely remember that one of your posts in the past hinted Meera’s story heading that way. Thanks for updating. Again another awesome update .

So glad you like Meera. Meera-Rama are still grappling with the after effects of the accident. There's a mental trauma they've gone through and instead of talking about it, they have kept it all inside, isolating each other. That happens far too often in a relationship. I am trying to explore that side of story here. And yes, hopefully we will get positive results with time.

Chapter 84: I am glad you brought back Rano’s letter. It was very much needed. Geet needs to understand her mother’s perspective too. The reality is being a mother. especially mother of a girl child is tough. There is always a worry about the daughter even after the daughter is married. Worry about the safety and well-being. I am glad that Geet called her mother. Hope to see Rano standing up to her father-in-law and pursue teaching. She has nothing to be afraid of now.

I enjoyed writing the letter too. It was a different feeling altogether. As kids we are closer to our fathers and mother, though we know her, love her and take her for granted, but with only coming of age do we really understand her. We start understanding her sacrifices, her constant battles, we start relating to her and her decisions as a woman.

There was a very beautiful, and hard hitting quote I had read on the net that, 'By the time we understand our mothers, we have ourselves become mothers of daughters who don't understand us'

Chapter 85 and 86: Good progress in their relationship. It may be slow, but good to see effort from both of them. Geet realized Maan’s insecurity discomfort because of her friendship with Aayush. The best part of the update was her straight talk about it. He realized it and stepped down his ego platform. How easy and happy life will be if only everyone accepts their mistakes and shed their ego. Glad Maan did that at least in writing. How is her college going on? You did not mention about it . And I am again glad that you liked Maan and Geet' s part too. Yes, it becomes easy when one is willing to step down their ego and talk straight. Geet's straight talk was necessary because if they got into a fight again, it would show they learnt nothing from their past. Her mother's letter helped too. Her mother has asked her not to feel inferior.

Your mention about ego brings to my mind a whats app message I had received,
