I see a war coming and whatever calm is there it's all toofan ke pehle ki shanti .....like maan I have been thinking too for geet' s docile self....

Well he is trying a lot from his side....though I have never been a good analyser but I think even if he hasn't come over jasleen...unconscious he have developed feel for geet....but she seem to indifferent ...completely focussed on her goal...

I loved it when he observed her plain self...does he want her do all the saaj shingar??? I would really endearing to watch do so.

Firstly, I am soo happy to see you back, resume this story! This is one story that I LOVE! I have never been able to relate to any other character in any other story as I can to this Maan and this Geet. There is something melancholically endearing about them. Whenever I read, I cannot help but feel the same emotions that they go through in that situation. And I am not exaggerating! This story is really close to my heart and would request you to never abandon it. You will always have a reader in me, though my comments may come delayed at times.

This song came to my mind when I was reading the last couple of chapters:

"Chupana bhi nahi aata, jatana bhi nahi aata..."

The next half is of course going to follow in due course, I see it happening.

I am kind of enjoying the role reversal, with Maan playing the part that used to be Geet's and she giving all to-the-point, brusque answers, only talking when necessary. As Dev rightly said, they are perfect for each other!

While Geet is clear on her heartbreak, Maan too is behaving jilted. Seeking her smile, her laughter, her words, her old self. Not to mention, he is attracted to her. Come to think of it, he had always been, not so noticeably though. He remembers what her shampoo used to smell like, the kind of clothes she used to wear, etc. Quite observant and attentive for someone who claimed to not care about the marriage.

What struck me was the fact that he cared about not being able to keep Geet happy. He is trying and is disappointed in himself that he got her to come back but cannot bring her to smile or talk like she used to. His thought on not having any fond memories when they grow old was another thing. He does think of them long-term, albeit subconsciously. I do not know how things ended with Jasleen, but I think he needs a closure.

Geet, I do not blame her really. It was new to her, all this after their marriage, she tried and it did not work. Now, she does not know what else to do and has kind of resigned. She is like a kid who can walk, but not sure which path to tread, if it is good or bad, and remains standing at that point. I sincerely hope Maan to shake her out of her shell. Had it been earlier, I would never have expected or hoped so, but now I see them in a different light - both individually and as a couple.
