When Geet had heard her parents talking about leaving in two days all she could think about was Maan but the problem is since she had told him about her bet with her friend he had somehow punished her , yet all she just wanted was to let him know though she started off with a bet she now was smitten by him but for Maan it was difficult to digest that she is truthful

Hence it makes me really glad when I see you have found any chapter amazing as I am always quite apprehensive about my updates. Especially with dte since it's a little different and dark plus complicated.

You have rightfully caught and read between the lines. Maan has indeed punished Geet for having that bet. But that was subconsciously. He didn't want to maltreat Geet.

Your views about Maan, his pain, reciprocation, keeping distance - Are bang on!!! He indeed wanted their last memory to be a little carefree. Didn't have rhat mettle to fight his heart anymore.

Forgetting each other - Bear in mind, they have a lot more to know about each other. Hence the apprehensive thoughts might take place about one another. Neither if them has proposed strongly.

Armaan - He is not the reason of Maaneet's current dynamic. There is a lot more complications than some third wheeler. However he is a partial reason probably...

The story is set on 10 years ago. Is forgetting him can be some of the reason or there is more to it???
