The trio after the long evening got really tired. Little Mia fired questions upon questions on his superdad about his surfing skills and he entertained her, however silly the questions were. Geet saw that Maan already missed five calls from Raymond and ten from Adi. When she eyed him to go away and pick up the phone Maan switched it off and threw it on her lap. All that time listening to his little one. In a few months this little bundle of joy has become his world. He wanted to make up for that five years and he knew all his life wont be enough for that. But that was not just it. Maan genuinely loved being with his daughter. The pride and joy that he felt being with Mia was incomparable. And then he had Geet right next to him looking at him like he was her world. He knew that all these years the world he had tried to conquer was empty compared to the bliss he felt right now at this moment.
And so it happend, the father, the mother and the little daughter in the middle didn't know when they fell asleep in that little princess bed of Ami snuggling closer to each other.
It was around 7pm when Maan woke up. He stretched his aching arms and looked around. A smile crept his lips as he saw his world there sleeping so peacefully. It was the most serene moment in his life and at that moment he actually prayed to a God, if there is one, to let this be the first sight of his life every single day from now on. He took his phone and captured yet another sweet moment with his family. Geet shifted as she hugged Amy and Amy snuggled closer to her.
Maan didn't want to move from there but he had some plans to make. After all he had a surprise to plan.
Back in Khurana mansion Savitri Devi was quite happy with herself. Her move of sending Annie out with her friend was proving fruitful. Annie looked more cheerful and radiant than ever.
Dadi : Annie bete ap kaha ja rhi he is waqt?
Annie wasn't listening. She was walking ahead dreaming about something or someone wondered dadi. She cleared her throat and called out once again, "Annie bete, kaha khoyi hui he ap?"
It was then Annie broke from her riverie and turned nervously towards didi.
Annie : nhi dadi aisa kuch nhi he..wo me to bas Tina ki sangeet ki party ke barey me soch rhi thi...wahi ja rhi hu...wo aj thoda late ho jayega...
Dadi : koi baat nhi beta..ap enjoy kariye. Agar stay over he to hume batana zarur..
Annie : ji
And off she walked away thinking about the day that she met Arjun again. It turned out to be different than what she had expected. You see whenever Arjun met Annie it was always with Geet or Mira around and he turned out to be a gentleman. But this Arjun, that she met was rather a tease, she thought shyly. It questioned her entire perception about him. Arjun was annoying her right from the beginning. He kept calling her "Anwesha" despite her letting him know that she preferred Annie and Arjun went on teasing her saying she didn't look like an Annie to him. Then there was the gender war as they discussed the topic of marriage while Arjun going on and on about how a guy's life ends with marriage and Annie trying to explain how much a girl sacrifices. By the end of the evening they didn't realise how time flew away and Tina came back to her to go home.

Arjun on the other hand regretted coming to the sangeet party as he was getting bored until he spotted Anwesha's figure searching and looking for someone in the crowd. She was wearing a dark green lehenga with a maroon border. It enhanced her complexion and she was glowing in that crowd. Arjun didn't know when or how his thoughts slipped on when he could hold her petite form in his arms. He quickly shook his head and walked towards Annie.
Arjun : Anwesha ye bori me lapetke kyu ayi ho?
Annie(stunned) :what?
Arjun : nhi tumhe aise traditional costume me nhi dekha na..
Annie : dekha to mene bhi nhi tumhe aise sherwani me. But I don't care!
She didn't know how she gave that icy reply. Arjun however was thrilled and thus continued yet another evening of teasing session between them.
Back in Ireland, Geet and Ami were in for a surprise as Maan arranged a splendid dinner exclusively for them in the living room of the suite. The couch was moved to a side and was replaced by a round mahagony table for three and three plush chairs with round cushions surrounded them.
The menu was specifically Amy and Geet's favorite dishes with the exception of a green salad which obviously was for Maan Singh Khurana. There was white wine, fresh strawberries from the garden, and Chocolate mouse for desert which was both super dad and Mia's favorite. Little Mia jumped on her favorite food as she was tired of the strict diet regime monitored by Lisa and Geet herself. Maan allowed her little perks now and then but this was a feast and she clearly enjoyed every bit of it.
After the sumptuous dinner when Mia could have no more of anything, Maan got up from his chair and kneeled in front the little one. He took a blue Tiffany box from the pocket of his trouser and placed it on the table.
Mia looked at him innocently. Maan ran his hand lightly on her pink cheeks and kissed on her forehead.
Maan : Mia, papa ko nhi pata ap humari baat aj kitna samaj payenge. Lekin ek din hoga jab ap mudke dekhengi aur shayad yaad krengi ki papa ne kya kaha. Humne apke saath bohat badi galti ki he. Apke aur apke mumma ke sath jo maafi layak nhi he. Humne apni zindagi ko zyada importance diya aur apki taraf mudke nhi dekha. Lekin beetey hue kal ke barey me bolkar koi faida nhi he. Ye apke papa ache se jante he, lekin humari apse ek request he..
He hesitated for a few seconds.
Mia : kya request papa?
Aur is baar papa promise krte he ki duniya ki koi cheez ap, papa aur mumma ke beech me nhi ayegi. Koi bhi baat aisi nhi hogi jo hume ek dusre se dur kr degi. Ye apke superdad ka promise he. Aur aj se superdad apka koi bhi promise nhi thodenge...
Geet let out a gasp at this point. Her eyes were glistening with tears. She wiped them quickly as she could not miss the moment that she had dreamt so many times in her life.
The love in his voice made her giddy. She wanted to throw herself at him, hug him and take away all his pain. This was her Maan, the man she knew and loved all her life. The man she thought was lost in all the chaos the fate had for them. The man she prayed for at the blue lotus temple.
Ami didn't understand most of what Maan said but the promise was enough for the kid. Tears rolled down her innocent eyes.
Mia : par ap to hamesha mere superdad ho..to phir ye kaisa request?
Maan smiled : ye request is liye kyu ki papa apke mummy se dobara shaadi krna chahte he..agar ap ha kaho to..
Mia thought for a moment and then looked at her mom who was nodding her head quickly for a yes, her eyes still filled.
Mia : ok superdad..par is baar ap mumma se kabhi naraaz nhi honge. promise?
Maan kept his palm on hers, "Promise!"
Mia wiped his tears away and hugged him. Geet joined the group hug and both Maan and Geet now had tears of joy.
Amy gave the box to Maan who opened it and took the simple platinum ring with a name carved on it, "Maan". Now it was Geet's turn who took the other ring from the box and put it on Maan's finger. Maan caressed lovingly the letters imprinted on it, "Geet". They turned to look at Amy who was frowning at them. Maan and Geet looked at each other and then at Amy.
Amy : ap dono ka ring he par mera kaha?
Geet was worried but Maan had a victorious smile as he pulled out another pink box and presented Miya with a ring. Both Maan and Geet together made her wear it on her right hand.
Amy read hers, "AMGSK?"
Maan said proudly, "Amiya Maan Geet Singh Khurana!"
Amy exclaimed, "Oh no, itna bada naam he mera..Name slip me fit nhi hoga!"
Maan and Geet laughed heartily and kissed on either cheeks of her. Ami hugged them both.
As the room service had cleaned up the room and Ami was asleep, Maan and Geet were in the bedroom.
Geet was still admiring the ring in the moonlight, when Maan came and stood beside her looking at her lovingly.
She saw him and blushed. He held her in his arms and brought her closer to him, "Geet, bas ye ek hafta reh gaya he tumhare vacation ka. Uske baad Delhi ja ke seedhe shaadi aur ye dusht danav zindagi bhar ke liye tumhare palle padega"
Geet kept her hand on his firm chest caressing it sensuosly. "Meri dua ye he ki yehi dusht danav sirf is zindagi me nhi har zindagi mere palle padhe"
Maan was proud to be her dusht danav!
Geet : waise Maan wo...shaadi ko leke meri ek chhoti si khwaish thi..matlab agar apko theek nhi lagta to...
Maan : Geet..tumhari har khwaish mere liye hukum he. Bas keh do aur me wo pura karunga
Geet blushed before saying anything. She couldn't manage to say it yet she managed to mumble without looking him in the eye, "wo..me keh rhi thi ki..ab se shaadi tak hume..ek dusre ke paas nhi aana chahiye..
Maan (smiled) : tum ye meri baho me rehke bol rhi ho?
Geet : Maan..apko ache se pata he me kya keh rhi hu.
Maan : mene kaha na tumhe bas hukum dena he. me har baat puri krne ke liye taiyar hu.
Geet : waise ek aur baat thi..
Maan : lo kar lo baat, madam ko hukum dene ko kya bol diya hukum pe hukum chala rhi he
Geet looked at him her mouth agape : mene do baat kya bol di..hukum chala rhi hu ap pe?
Maan : arey Mishty mazak kr rha tha bolo kya he..
Her eyes softened and she smiled.
Geet : Maan me chahti hu ki humari shaadi bas ek choti si rasm ho, Neelkamal ke mandir me phere. Aur phir Delhi me ap jaisa bhi chahe waisa kr lijiye..
Maan : me janta hu Geet tumhe shor sharaba nhi chahiye. Mene media ko dur rakha he puri ceremony se. Jaisa tum chahti to waisa hi hoga, neelkamal mandir me shaadi. Delhi me lekin ek reception zarur hoga. Ab wo kya he na, mujhe logo ko batana he aur dikhana he ki yehi meri biwi aur beti he. Ussey koi aitraz to nhi na tumhe?
Geet nodded for a no and rested her head on his chest. She could feel his heart beat and smiled with the knowledge that every beat was in her name.
For a moment Maan felt assured that everything was perfect in his life until his phone rang. He didn't even hear it as he was so immersed in his moment but the phone kept ringing and ringing.
