EPILOGUE 2

Fifteen minutes later, the presentation started. It was the joint venture between two renowed Construction companies. As one company's Architectural design was good and one company's professionalism and experience was well known in the market. Although one person in the whole presentation was only staring at the presenter.

LATER IN THE DAY

Location: Kailash Sadan, New Delhi

Khuranas had just got down from their car when they found Raizadas also there. Savitri Deviji and Devyaniji greeted each other as they were well known to each other due to meeting at many charitable functions and thats why two days back Khuranas were invited by Raizadas to Shantivan for "Holi" function. Only Arnav and Maan were not present at "Holi" function as they detested Holi festival. Arnav and Maan knew each other by name but were meeting each other face to face for first time but immediately got on like house on fire! Maan and Arnav were about to enter the main door when Maan held Arnav's hand and said, "Vicky, tum NK ke saath aage chalo. Mujhe Arnav se business ke baare mein baat karni hai." (Vicky, you go with NK ahead. I have to do some business related talks with Arnav.)

Vicky and NK had just opened the main door and both were drenched head to toe in coloured water shocking Vicky, NK and the elders. It brought a bout of laughter from Maan and Arnav. After both of them stopped laughing being given angry glares by their respective grandmothers. Arnav whispered, "Maan bhai, aapko iske baare mein patta thaa. (Maan bro, you knew about this?)

"Haan. Humari honewali patniyaan bahut shararti hain. Chalo!" (Yes. Our future wives are very child like. Come let's go.) Maan whispered back with a smile.

After Virendra and Pallavi's profusely apologising to Khuranas and Raizadas, Khushi and Geet walked in. Besides Sharmas, Khuranas and Raizadas were also present Rajveer and Sumitra Chauhan who were the common friends of Sharmas, Khuranas and Raizadas and who had suggested these matches. Pallavi introduced, "Yeh hai humari badhi beti Khushi hai." (This is our elder daughter Khushi.) Khushi was in bright red chiffon saree with sequins on the border.

"Aur yeh hai humari choti beti, Geetanjali yaa pyaar se hum isse "Geet" bulate hain!" (This is our younger daughter Geetanjali. At home we call her "Geet".) Geet was in similar white saree like Khushi with silver emberiordery on the border.

Arnav and

Maan were stunned respectively.

Khushi and Geet touched all elders feet namely, Savitri Deviji, Devyaniji, Raghvendra, Mamaji and Manorama Mamiji's feet.

After serving tea, coffee,snacks and polite conversation, Khushi and Geet left for their rooms leaving three smitten youngmen. Arnav smitten by Khushi; Maan by Geet and Krishan smitten by Rukmini. Whereas Rukmini was blushing under Krishan's gaze. "Krish, Arnav aur Maan ko Geet aur Khushi ke kamre tak chodh aao. (Krish, please guide Arnav and Maan to Geet and Khushi's room.) Pallavi said.

Krish was so smitten by Rukmini that he left Arnav at Khushi's room and Maan at Geet's room.

After half an hour both Arnav and Maan came to the living room leaving Khushi and Geet in their rooms. Maan said, "Dadimaa mai Geet yaani Geetanjali se shaadi karna chahta hoon."(Dadimaa, I want to marry Geet, I mean Geetanjali.)

Arnav said, "Nani mein Khushi se shaadi karna chahta hoon." (Nani, I want to marry Khushi.) For few seconds, Khuranas, Raizadas and Sharmas were stunned. Then Savitri Devi said, "Virendra aur Pallavi beta, aap Khushi aur Geetanjali se bhi unki marzi pooch lijiye ki woh Arnav aur Maan se shaadi karna chahti hain ki nahi? Agar unki "haan" hai toh hum aaj hi sagaai kar dena chahenge." (Virendra and Pallavi, please ask Khushi and Geetanjali's answer if they would like to marry Arnav and Maan respectively or not. If they are agreeable for the marriage we would like to do the engagement right now!)

"Hum bhi Savitri Deviji ke iss mashwahre se sehmat hain." (Even I agree with Savitri Deviji's this decision.) Devyaniji supported.

Virendra aur Pallavi went inside to talk to Khushi and Geet, leaving Krishan, Rajveer Chauhan and Sumitra Chauhan with Khurana and Raizadas. After sometime, a sombre Virendra aur Pallavi came outside and said "Maan aur Arnav beta, Geet aur Khushi aapse akele mein kuch baat karna chahti hain." (Maan and Arnav, Geet and Khushi want to talk to you both respectively in privacy.)

Maan and Arnav were about to enter Geet and Khushi's room when Maan said in a hushed tone, "Arnav yeh dono behene phir koi aisi baat bolengi jiss se hum inse shaadi karne se inkaar kar dein." (Arnav, these two sisters are again going to create some problem so that these two marriage don't happen.)

"Matlab?" (Meaning?)

"That they have a number of boyfriends or that they are not a virgin."

"But do you think its true?"

"No. Because I heard Geet today making a vow that she will not let Khushi and her marriage be arranged today. I also got my guys to investigate and found them to decent girls from a good family i.e. no drinking, no smoking, no drugs and no boyfriends!"

"But if they are so against marriage then..."

"Arnav, you and I were also against marriage but you after seeing Khushi and me after seeing Geet have changed our minds. Ok see it this way, "will you be able to see them married to anyone else, for example, Khushi married to NK"?"

"NO NEVER!"

As Maan had rightly predicted. Khushi said, "Mr. Raizada, I suggest you refuse for this alliance as I'm not a virgin."

Arnav answered, "It doesn't matter to me as neither am I . Now I want no more discussion. Lets go everyone is waiting."

"Lad Governor kahin ka!" Khushi muttered to herself.

"Kya kahaa?" Khushi nodded in negative with a forced smile.

Geet told Maan, "Mr. Khurana, I have number of boyfriends. I also have intimate relationships with them."

"Geet, mai tumhare baare mein sab kuch jaanta hoon. Iss liye tum bahaane banna bandh karo kyunki tum aaj meri ho kar hi rahogi. Abb chalo sab intezaar kar rahe hain." (Geet I know everything about you. So don't make any excuses as you will be definitely mine today. Now come everyone is waiting.)

Once in the living room, Maan held Geet's wriggling hand in his tight grip and said, "Dadimaa mai Geet yaani Geetanjali se shaadi karna chahta hoon." (Dadimaa, I want to marry Geet, I mean Geetanjali.)

Arnav held Khushi's hand saying, "Nani mein Khushi se shaadi karna chahta hoon." (Nani, I want to marry Khushi.)

Before girls could throw anymore tantrum Pallavi with Krishan as well as Rukmini and Anjali's help got things organised. First Arnav and Khushi's engagement was done as Khushi was elder.

Followed by Geet and Maan's engagement. When Maan and Geet were sitting together during the ceremonies, Maan whispered in Geet's ears, "Kya kahaa thaa aaj subah tumne ki tum mujhe "patak-patak ke maarogi?" Sure sweetheart I'm all yours. In fact I'm just waiting to be touched by you. Aur raha "patak ne" ka sawaal toh woh dekhte hain, kaun kisko patakta hai? Kyunki mai Karate mein "black belt" hoon."(What did you say today morning that you will thrashed me like clothes while handwashing? Sure sweetheart I'm all yours. In fact I'm just waiting to be touched by you. As far as thrashing me is concerned, lets see who thrashes whom as I'm a "black belt in Karate.)

"KYA?" (WHAT?) Geet screamed and stood up.

Surprising Savitri Devi and Rukmini who were doing the ceremony of Maan and Geet's sagaai (engagement). Pallavi gave an intense angry glare to Geet and she quitely sat down saying "Dadimaa, maaf kijiyega! SORRY!" Glaring at Maan. Savitri Devi came near Maan while doing few rituals and whispered for his ears only, "Maan humari bahu ko pareshaan karna bandh kariye. Warna hum aapka "aapki Geet" se vivaah nahi hone denge." (Maan stop troubling Geet. Otherwise I'll stop your marriage with "Your Geet".) After that Maan and Geet behaved themselves till all the engagement ceremonies were over.

Goddess Parvati looked down at earth and saw Maan and Geet's engagement in wonder.

"Swami, Maan aur Geet toh abhi bhi jeevith hain jab ki Bhujang aur Durgeshwari ki mrityu ho gayee hai." (My Lord, how come Maan and Geet are still alive despite of Bhujang and Durgeshwari's death?)

"Woh kaaran yeh hai priye kyunki Brijendra ka vadhh hummein sheeghr ati sheeghr karna thaa taaki woh prithvilok mein aur naash naa kar sake. Yadhi hum shrishti ke niyamon ke anusaar yeh kaarye karte toh atya adhik samay lupt ho jaata. Prathm do shishuon ka janam hota, uske pashchaat woh bees (20) se pacchis (25)varsh pashchaat vivaah bandhan mein bandhte aur uske pashchaat Brijendra ka vadhh sambhav ho paata. Iss liye Bhramadev aur humne yeh vichaar vimarsh kiya ki hum do manushiyon ka deh udhaar par lenge arthaat Maan Singh Khurana evam Geetanjali Sharma ke deh ka humne upyog kiya. Kyunki hummein ek jawaan purush evam avivahit yuvati ki avashiyakta thee. Unn dono deh ki atmaon ko mantron dwara gehri nindra mein pauhcha kar phir Maan ke deh mein humara ansh "Bhujang" ke naam se aur Geetanjali ke deh mein aapka ansh "Durgeshwari" ke naam se pravesh karvaya gaya. Maan aur Geetanjali ke sage-sambandhiyon ko unka swabhav vichitr naa lage iss liye humne ek kaalpnik "icchadhaari naag/naagin" ki kahaani rachi. Brijendra ke vadhh ke paschaat humne unn sabko ek gehri nindra mein pauhcha diya jiss se jab woh sab jaage toh unhein humari kaalpnik icchadhaari naag/naagin ki kahaani kewal ek swapan lage. Jab Maan aur Geetanjali ka parivaar jaaga toh Maan aur Geetanjali ki atmaon ki bhi nindra toot gayee. " (The reason is this my dear that we had to destroy Brijendra as soon as possible as he was causing lot of destruction on earth. If we would have gone through normal channels of this universe, we would have to first create two babies, then wait for them for twenty (20) to twenty five (25) years in order for them to get married and then only Brijendra could be killed. Hence the creator, Bhramadev and I decided to borrow two bodies namely of Maan Singh Khurana and Geetanjali Sharma. We needed a young male and an young unmarried girl. Bhramadev and I by few powerful verses (mantras) made the original souls (atma) of Maan Singh Khurana and Geetanjali Sharma go into a deep sleep. After that I introduce my fragment under tha name of "Bhujang" in Maan's body and your fragment under the name of "Durgeshwari" in Geetanjali's body. So that Maan and Geetanjali's family and friends don't consider their behaviour strange, we introduced an imaginary story of self transforming snakes. After the destruction of Brijendra, Bhramadev and I by few powerful verses (mantras) made all the family and friends fall into deep sleep. Hence when they woke up they assumed our imaginary story of self transforming snakes (icchadhari naag/naagin) to be in their dream. When all family and friends woke up so did Maan and Geetanjali's original souls (atma) woke up from their deep sleep.)
