D night was long for Maan ,, DM send her car with driver to bring back Geet after her duty off,, though Geet felt bad for taking that spl treatment ,, she want to avoid taking favours ,, V was helping her a lot nd that was already enough,, for her study she need his help ,, to get a permanent job of a store keeper in same hsptl too she had needed her academic documents from school ,, she was frustrated nd annoyed ,, not having anything in her hands nd depending on others for shelter , money nd help .

When Geet reached KM early in d mrng , 1^st she reported to DM nd cleared her side ,, she informed that she cd have same duty routine for more days bcoz d other SK extanded his leave for 2 more day too ,, DM agreed , there was no reason to deny , now it's her work .

Then Geet went towards her room ,, she was about to enter in her room when she felt a grip on her arm nd a sudden pull ,, she didn't get nd next sec she was pinned with d wall nd heard angered but slow voice .

Maan : cn't u inform us if u wr staying back ,, cn't u think how we wr worried , how was DM tensed ,, is there only V to inform ,, hhmmm? Don't u have any responsibility to inform us?

Geet was startled nd shaking in fear with that sudden encounter with that Man ,, she was staring at him with wide eyes ,, not getting that why he was that much angry nd scolding her ?

Maan held her from shoulders nd shook glaring at her ,, his face was very close to her ,, his that behavior scared nd hurt her ,, she gulped hard .

Maan : speak up , I m asking u something ?

Geet : behave Mr Khurana ,, u don't have any right to treat me like this ? if u have any prob with me then ask in a civilized manner ,, how cn u hurt me physically like this ?

Maan shocked : what ???

Maan was staring at her like there was an alien infront of him ,, d mere girl who never dare to talk to him ,, never met her eyes with him glaring at him back ,, she pushed him nd talking to him in a harsh tone ,, from where she got this courage ?

Geet: as u all said that this family pitied me nd brought me here , save my life giving me good treatment but it doesn't mean that u treat me like a trash ,, I don't want to be a burden on this family nd others nd will try my best to do this ASAP.

Maan garnered himself : wo , I was not angry with u for living here but u didn't inform DM nd she was very worried ,, V forgot to inform her ,, u have to directly inform DM .

Geet annoyed : I don't DM nd KM phone numbers nd I don't have phone .

Maan : what , u don't have our phone numbers ? Haaa,,, what a smart girl , living in this house from many mnths , starting going out for job , but don't have phone , how u'll survive like this ?

Geet : bcoz I don't have money to buy all these things , when i'll get my salary , i'll buy for me.

Maan startled nd remembered that he didn't find a penny in her room when he searched there nd she never took money from DM ,, his heart stirred .

Maan : aamm , u cn take money from DM , she won't deny .

Geet: no thanks , as I said I don't want to burden anyone , now plzz leave me alone , I m tired .

Maan : hmmm ,OK , but from TM have DM nd KM's phone number with u.

Geet didn't reply , entered in her room nd closed d door ,, Maan looked at that closed door for few sec nd then returned back in his room ,, Geet's harsh behavior nd blunt replies wr hitting him , with Geet's replies he was sure that she deffo wanted to go away from them nd he wdn't let her do.

That day passed nd at dinner time he didn't see Geet again ,, he waited for long so that DM or V wd said something about her but they didn't nd lastly he composed nd asked .

Maan lil harshly : again u both allow her to stay out ?

DM: Geet has double duty , she told me in d mrng .

V: d other SK is on leave so both d SK wr adjusting turn by turn ,, she went late today ,, Bro u don't bother urself , i'll take care of her , I m sure she won't disappoint me nd break my trust.

V's words pricked Maan , he looked at him for few sec , nodded his head with a sigh nd then got up .

Maan : hope so , nd DM u , better u won't panic infront of me again like u wr doing last night .

DM: Maan , cn't u soften ur behavior towards her ?

Maan blankly : for what ?

DM sighed disappointed : its OK , go.

Man left from there ,, DM nd V came in her room ,, he gave her meds nd talked with her for some time nd then went to his room . There in his balcony of his room Maan was pacing come nd fro lost in some thoughts .

That encounter gave Geet's confidence a boost ,, though in start she trembled but soon gathered her courage ,, he was an opponent nd obstacle to her if she wdn't face him then she cdn't move ahead in future ,, she hate that man who looked at her so meanly nd threatened her all d time ,, she didn't like to face him .

Again next mrning Geet got another shock when found Maan in her room sitting in a relaxing form ,, 1st she startled nd rooted at her spot ,, Maan words brought her back in sense.

Maan : GM , nice to see u back home .

Geet gulped nd composed herself : aahhmmm ,, GM Mr Khurana ,, though this house is ur property but it doesn't suit any person to barg in someone's living place , even a servant's place too ,, DM gave me this room to stay nd u r invading in my place ,LEAVE .

Maan : G e e t .

Geet annoyed : miss Geet Singh ,, if u r not going then I m calling DM nd Doc.

Maan : , Don't raise ur temper , they req me to be lenient to u that is why I m here to do a favour , this is sply for DM , I cn't see her tense ( he took out a phone from his track pent pocket nd forwarded towards her ) ye ,, have this , it's working nd I have saved all d imp phone numbers in it ,, I have wrote down its No in ur dairy too ,, u have no id proof so d number is on my name .

Geet gave a confusing look to him : u don't have to do this ,, if I need i'll ask DM nd Doc ,, I won't take it.

Maan's temper raised : u have to bcoz it was for DM's sake ,, u have to keep in her touch if u r out .

Geet ignored him : I won't , plzz move out , I have to change .

Maan lost his patience , took her hand nd thrust d phone in that ,, she looked at him with rage but get d same glares from him .

Maan : if u want to go out from this KM to do some work , then have it , otherwise sit in this room quietly , to achieve something for ur betterment, u have to accept some conditions nd this is one of them.

He zoom out from d room after throwing those words to her ,, Geet was standing still nd staring at door nd then at phone .

Geet annoyed : what d hell is this ? it's so annoying .

She went to DM's room to talk about that but find her sleeping so came back quietly , threw d phone on chester nd sleep ,, she felt her head heavy nd wish to take some rest .

In his room Maan was mumbling in anger ,, he was shocked at Geet's rude behavior .

Maan : she is not any innocent girl ,, giving attitude to MSK , what d hell she is ? It's all bcoz of DM nd V ,, i'll see , now i'll keep an eye on u Miss Geet singh , huhhh.

At breakfast time Maan opened d matter in front of DM nd V ,, they we shocked but seeing his serious nd cold they kept calm.

Maan : DM , I gave my old phone to ur innocent girl Geet ,, that was useless for me but she was throwing attitude nd denying ,, I did that for u , so that u cn contact her anytime ,, better u both make her understand or haan give her some money to use ,, u all three have a good bond nd trust each other ,, still , I m saying V be careful .

DM nd V wr staring at him quietly ,, it was a surprise for them that Maan gave his phone to Geet ,, unbelievable ,, Maan finished his BF nd left for KC.

V: DM ,, did we hear right ? Bro , gave his phone to Geet !!!

DM: hmmm,, it's hard to believe , but he was saying ,, let's talk to Geet .

V: hhmmm, I think she is still sleeping ,, I m getting late so u talk to her later ,, i'll send d car to take her .

DM nd V talked to Geet nd req her to understand d situation ,, that was for good only ,, unwillingly Geet accepted but she felt miserable nd a burden on her heart .

Few more days rolled down Geet was all set in hsptl work nd after discussing with V she choose two curses for her ,, now to apply she needed her certificates nd for that she had to go Mumbai ,, it was in d mid of week nd Maan was having dinner with DM nd V ,, Geet was helping in kitchen nd avoiding to have dinner with Khuranas ,, they all wr sensing her avoidance .

Maan : DM I m going to Mumbai for a meeting ,, ask her if she want to go to .

DM : Mumbai , r u comfortable taking her with u ?

Maan : i'll do my work nd send Adi to help her .

V: that will be good , hope she agreed , let me talk to her ,, G e e t come here.

Geet came nd stood near DM : yes Doc .

V: Geet do u want to go Mumbai to collect ur documents from school ?

Geet shocked : Kya!!!! Mumbai !!!

DM: haan beta , luckily Maan is going nd his PA Adi cn help u , wd u like to go ?

Geet was quiet nd running her mind ,, Maan looked at her from d corner of her eyes nd remain busy in his meal ,, V nd DM wr looking at her .

V: time is running Geet , better u collect them ASAP ,, Adi 'll be a big help for u , go so that we cn take next step .

Geer nervously looked at Maan nd then at V nd DM ,, going with Maan was killing her , but d chance to get her crtfcts was d most imp thing for her ,, her future was hanging nd V was right that time was slipping ,, life was not easy for her ,, she remembered Maan's words that to get something , she had to compromise .
