Sorry it took me long enough but I have finally finished reading With You. It was an absolute joy to read. It would be safe to say that no other Maan and Geet where is apt for one another like these two. In true sense they where each other's support system, and believe me I have read just about enough maaneet stories. But as a couple, they stood tall and made each other complete like no other Maan or Geet. Be it her traveling to US to fight for her love or him bringing her back from the crux of depression. They truly are made for one another.

Maan blaming himself for his parents death is palatable. He's the type to hide away and burn in guilt, that's just typical Maan for us lol. but seriously thinking it must have been hard for him, knowing that he had a part to play in his parents miseries. Though ideally he didn't, destiny waits for no man but I suppose knowing that he was meant to be in that plane tore his heart. But what I loved was geets understanding, she let him be for a while. She allowed him to absorb in the pain, hurt and guilt. Though to some it may seem like the wrong move but for me Geet made sense. She waited for him to carry on as normal, she waited for the anguish to die. And when it didn't she made her presence left, for her herself that him and that ain't selfish. That the end of the day, his happiness lies in he and vice versa. Maan could have inflicted himself and her to extraordinary heights of pain in his newly found pain, so to read on the testing phase was good. She let Maan be Maan to brood, to ache and to pain but then took the reign at the right time. Maybe if she didn't then she and the khuranna family would have lost Maan forever and I for one, am glad they didn't and he got to witness devs wedding .

And then read of geets unfortunate accident and her fight with herself. Why do woman fall insecure so soon, iconic she who rules his world feels inferior due to the slightest of hindrance. Though blindness isn't a slight problem. Especially for a women who had a perfect sight beforehand. I have worked with the blind and know of daily struggles, so relating to Geet wasn't as hard. However I have always wondered what they go through, and you have depicted the woes and struggles perfectly. You write too well kawaii

Of course reading of her scars in her body and mind made me wonder what this Maan would do and he perfectly etched her into his works abc made her beautiful. Beauty truly lies in the beholder and this ff resonates that through and through be it for Geet or Maan but they are standing examples of it


I have always loved 'John legends all of me' abc what better story than this, it suits them perfectly. Their love for one another never really decreases regardless of what they face rather increased exponentially though each trial and tribulation. How true was Maan when he didn't promise her a bed of roses after their marriage, if everything their life was a uneasy ride which they made beautiful by standing by one another

This was a remarkable story with a real notion of what love should be, it's raw depiction in the most rarest form. unfortunately, I don't think Anyone loves like that but yo read of it is an exceptional honour

The death of the jasmine tree was really something. It's hard to let go of things that hold such significance even if it isn't a breathing organism. Maaneets esp geets feeling of loss is truly justified but then again everything that comes needs to go, reality of life. The death of the treadmill held importance in their life, as it brought sorrow but after its death it also brought them together. It was indeed sad that the tree that brought them together, that held and protected them couldn't witness them becoming one.
But like Maan said it served its purpose. I liked the whole aura and essence you placed around the tree

Gosh it must have been hard to write of two different phases in their life, but each part flowed in perfectly. It's as if time itself embedded into it so that each part flowed in perfect harmony
