such a wonderful update...

maan is missing geet but he is not realising it fully..

both are misunderstanding each other.

Geet is insecure ...maan is o my focusing on few lines of letter in which Geet has written that he is Boring and all.

why can't he read between the lines...both are fools and have their own in securites

both will make such a cute pair in future

very beautiful story..
very different even..
& what makes it even better is it has a touch of reality in it..
as if its about a normal person's day to day life, their problems & how they face them..
even the relationships are reality based..
it's not like girl meets boy & they fall in love & live happily ever after..
i really loved reading all the parts...

aah so maan babu is missing geet eh...nice..a good start...and he wants space and kicks off ms.jain...nice...will he go behind her?? does he really want her to leave him forever...

so loved the timing of his phone call...saved geet from the old man.eeks...asking about stuff for his pain/ache...intereting...did he really want to know that form her or just wanted to hear her voice???

what will geet tell her family...can she tell the truth??? does she really not want to be with him...yes jasleen is another matter but...she has said her part...now its maan's turn...he needs to set the ball rolling if he wants to be with her...instead of getting turned off women thinking they will go away from him...

Already he is missing her when he had stomach ache.

Both are husband and wife material though they are not practically...

Both care about each other...

They will know how to take forward their relationship once this distance reduced.

Hope he goes to hoshiarpur to get her back..😉

Dear Geet,

I've been thinking too a lot much before I started writing this letter. Like you, I've been wondering what to write or what not to write.

Of course it's not so much of a confusion like you had. Writing to Maan must have been difficult no? But so is writing to you because you know the girl that you are? I think I know her. I think I've been her once.

Being eighteen, sapne dekhna, having so many ideologies about life and love and what not.

And I see you write this letter and I wonder how much has that girl that stepped into this apartment in Delhi on the first day, who was thinking of fainting so that her husband won't get intimate with her... How much has she changed.

She really did, and I can't help but resonate more with her.

It is easy to fall in love with a guy like Maan. It is. I know you don't believe me and I tell you why it is.

It's like drowning in a sea, not being able to breathe. And then you catch hold of something. You hold onto it with all your might. I know I sort of exaggerate but it's hard to find someone who would do what is right and be a just man. Aren't we all trying to be the same and how much do we succeed? We let our heart take the decisions but isn't it easy to find a man who despite of all his imperfections still want to do what is right than what he wants.

Honestly, I think that is one of the reasons women for two centuries still love Darcy. With him you know, there's no question of him doing anything immoral. Yes, he would not be an easy man to be with but at least you can count on him.

And the beauty about your Maan is you can count on him Geet.

That being said I won't ask you to go back to him. I respect your decision. He loved someone else. Your heart broke at that. If I were eighteen I would have reacted in the same way. But you would see, you would know that the real question isn't him loving someone. The problem would be if he can't move on from her.

There's a difference my dear friend and as you age, you understand that love happening just once is bullshit.

And you know what I loved most about your letter, that you know yourself that had you guys met at some other time, some other place, things would have been different.

What would I do, but to hope for it.

Why do I hope for it, you ask? Not because he was your husband. Pssht. No.

Because I believe Maan needs someone like you as much as you need someone like him. Love doesn't lead to marriage in most of the cases these days my child, especially in arranged marriages. But allow me to quote from a movie I really loved in recent times "Can we put restrictions and conditions for love?"

As I have mentioned innumerable times already, I adore Ayush and Geet's friendship. It is hard to find such friends. How they are always there for each other, how they know the minutest things about one another, etc. And although, I really like Ayush and respect his feelings for Geet, I cannot see them in any other light. No, it is not because of their names or the fact that Geet is married to Maan. They are to me, like two peas in a pod, so similar in their temperament and somewhere, despite all of life's challenges, they haven't lost their innocence. But with Maan and Geet, there is always this bristling energy. They are so different yet somehow similar, kind of balance each other.

The latest chapter raised my hopes. Despite being together for just 1.5 months, they have formed a bond deep enough to seek each other out unconsciously or consciously. To feel the warmth and assurance despite being miles away. Infact, their phone conversation was more like an interaction between a husband and his wife who have fought over something and are trying to find excuses to talk to the other without letting their guard down. Now that I recall, I feel Maan has been more expressive of how he wants their relationship to be. I am not talking about their past here, just the equation between the two of them. Although, now Geet's letter should do it for him.

Okay, so he just assumed the contents of the letter and did not read it fully. That is some respite given his indifference at night. Now that he has read it and knows the actual reason behind her leaving him, I am curious what his next course of action will be. Is he going to get her back before she reveals the truth to her parents?
