Not my shayri sister, found it online. I am into shayris, Urdu couplets but haven't reached the level where I can compose my own. Karna chahe bhi toh tuti-futi si hogi. 😆

You know when I was in 4-5th std, we had a Hindi debate in school. And I took part just because my class-rival was taking part in the competition.( yes, I know it's a silly reason but we had a very deep rivalry going on. Like we rarely talked. I guess I've told you about the person earlier.) My mother helped me to prepare for it and I won that debate. But I think that's how my interest in Hindi cultivated, for I began to pay attention to Hindi language and literature both.Earlier, it was just another subject. I began taking part in elocution. The fact that I was able to score good marks without much effort also helped. We had Kavya Chandrika, as our textbook and I've it still saved with me because I love reading the poems there. I still remember many poems.

Ye jeevan kya hai nirjhar hai, masti hi iska pani hai

sukh dukh ke dono teeron se chal raha raah manmani hai

But about shayris, by this time you must have realised my love for poems, so I keep reading Hindi, English poems, phir socha Urdu ko kyun choda jaye. 😆

Abhi recently I was thinking jab ghar jaungi tho meri hindi ke upnyaas jo pade hain wo lete aaungi.

Urdu and Persian are my thing, more Persian than urdu. But i love it when you mention all these things and awe me by ur persona...

Sometimes i feel am like a jack of all trades and master of none😆

Guess what I was just typing the last lines of a future update. And it was about Ayush. The fact is I have typed ch 48. But ch-46 I just can't get it right. Going to sit with it tonight so that I can update early morning tomorrow. Fingers crossed. Nahi toh phir next month hi ho payega. I'm going to get busy from the next week.
