I do love the Darji's in your story, for me the show didn't do justice to the characters I would I have preferred to see the impact on the handas after Geet left rather than some other stupid plots. Love the relationship you're trying to show in the community, the family bond without actually being family.
India is quite multi-cultural and full of flavour isn't it? OMG flirty isn't it? Beautiful flower for a beautiful girl' does nothing to me, its quite clique says me with a big goofy smile lol
I must confess I won't like the look of those cakes they look too sweet like the Indian sweets you get from the Asian sweet store, I love whipped cream though hmmm the choux or Victorian/chocolate/coconut sponge hmmm I'll get out of the desert dream before all you have as comment would be a list of my fave lol
The battle of town no matter where you are, it exists all over the world and then with countries too, I remember going Birmingham a year ago and defending our football team and I don't even watch football, ok maybe abit but nothing serious lol by the way both the teams failed to make it to the league table imagine that lol

@bold: usually the darji's are based on my Dad but this was a neighbor of my aunt who had become a widow at a very young age. This elderly gentleman and his wife were so so incredibly caring and loving to her and helped her raise her kids. This was also in Mumbai so I am doubly proud of my city and the people there.
