He looked around nd saw d adjacent room , went in nd smiled seeing that room which was their(his nd Dev's in their childhood) play room where they kept their toys nd sports things in boxes nd cabinet ,, a small bed was made upon d boxes ,, Maan find that suitable to stay that had a sep exit nd entry door ,but need cleaning ,, Maan opened that nd called his mom to send a servant in GR.

Maan came out , Geet was back in her bed ,, looking lil fresh nd changed ,, her hair wr open ,, she removed her sling nd resting her hand on a pillow ,, Maan gave her rest of meds which she took quietly ,, Geet opened her lappy nd then thought to use her phone for net , but her cable was in her bag which was on sofa away from her ,,she looked at that nd trying to get down from bed .

Maan : now what do u want , that bag ? tell me what do u want from that ?.

Geet: aamm ,need cable to attach phone .

Maan: why ?

Geet: for net .

Maan: wait , i m bringing other device ..plug in ,, use that ,, i m coming in few min, Ok, nd don't move from bed .

Geet only looked at him .

MK's anger for Dev nd NT was quiet possible bcoz he nd d other family members suffered a lot bcoz of that B****** , but why he said that she was not d reason of his pain , where he lost his love bcoz of her ? he wanted to protect her from pain nd further insult ,, why he wanted to stick with this forced relation ,, why he was not thinking to start fresh with his GF or any other good girl of his match ? Maan came with their coffee nd saw her standing in corridor ,, a servant was cleaning d side room ,, Maan checked that nd then came near geet ,, his heart ached seeing her lost nd sad in thoughts .

They finished their BC ,, Maan start d net nd connected Geet's lappy with that ,, then went to take out his office stuff from his car ,, d extra BG's wr on duty ,, D servant cleaned nd arranged d side room for him ,, he was back with his stuff nd settled in sofa ,, he kept 3 files near Geet on her bed to check ,, he cd do that but deliberately involve Geet to divert her mind nd that worked ,, d atmosphere between them changed nd became congenial ,, Maan felt repture , nd gave a contented look to Geet then started his work ,, there Geet opened a folder nd started checking that ,, Maan was checking a BP nd his eyes went towards Geet who was engrossed in file , a sweet smie spread on his lips ,, his eyes wr adoring d simple beauty of that girl who was an unseprable part of his life but they wr standing opposite to each other on a wrecked base ,, Maan thought how his life had changed in last 2-3 days .

Maan's self thought ...

What was d fault of this innocent girl who is suffering like this in this young age ? Became a scapegoat in d useless fight of others ,, d ppl who wr d root cause of that disaster r enjoying their lives over d wreck lives her nd his ,, all tried to mend d damage , but for them not for her nd him ,, he was lil better than her bcoz he was in his house with d family ,,faced lose but that taught him a big lesson for trusting a selfish person ,, that hard time taught him many things nd made him tough nd rude ,, d financial losses he had recovered , but not d loved ones ,,though her lose didn't affect him much that time , but many times he remembered that dreadful past ,, till now he was unaware that this girl took that dangerous step bcoz of him ,, she felt her a burden on us ,, cause of losing my happiness nd a curse for all ,, she didn't think for her ,but choose d way to punish her culprit alone ,, struggled with her life alone ,, what she didn't have , but living an abandoned life ,, still don't want anything from us but justice for her , which she deserves .

Again she was hurt bcoz of us ,, her anger on us is justified ,, she has reasons to harm us , accuse us nd suspect us ,, no matter what , but she belongs to him.. MSK , how cn he leave her alone after knowing her ,, she deserves to live her life with respect , she deserves justice nd he'll help her in this ,, if she cn think for him nd his happiness then why cn't he ? He won't let her go ,never .

Though Last few days wr very disturbed nd restless , but somewhere gave peace that she was alive ,, her confession that she took that step to make him nd his family free from her burden showed her selflessness ,, still she was distancing bcoz of him ,, this was enough to trust her that she cn't think to harm them ,, she is a girl of pure heart ,, her intentions r clear nd not believe in hiding anything , but don't know when she'll trust him nd his family ?

Her refusals nd indifference hurt him ,, her smiles nd normal talks eased his heart ,, her taunts , anger nd stubbornness irked him but he liked to fight back ,, he felt a mirth of victory when she accepted anything from him ,, she brought a reason in his life ,, her aura spreads positivity in him ,, diverts his mind nd thoughts ... damn Maan

Maan inwardly slapped his head nd squeezed his eyes realizing that he was not doing his work but thinking about Geet ,, she was busy in her work , but he was only staring at her .

Maan murmured : Maan , kya ho gaya tujhe , u r losing ur grip on mind ,, concentrate ,, finish ur work nd don't give her reason to call imperfect .

He took few deep breaths to compose him nd start checking d blue prints ,, he lost d track of time nd when he lifted his head after closing d BP , he find Geet sleeping ,, d files wr kept aside on d bed with her lappy nd phone ,, a smile crept on his lips ,, he got up nd secured all d things , then went to next room .
