Geet cried thinking about how foolish she has been but the words she uttered were only known to Lina . Once she calmed down , "Why were you crying , is something the matter", Maan asked concerned . "I just realized how foolish I have been to judge people , I'm sorry". Maan did not get the head and tail of what she was saying so to lighten up the mood he joked, "Okay so crybaby you will have to wash my shirt see you even blew your nose here ewww". Now this bought the fighting Geet back , "I'm not your personal washing machine okay, wash it yourself , and yeah don't call me crybaby", she huffed . "Lets go now its getting late", Lina said, seeing Geet getting better .
Once the three reached home, they all went to their rooms to rest . Once in the room Lina called Payal , " I want to ask you something . You used to say Geet needs to be protected but here shes so powerful I saw a totally different side to her today ,"saying this she narrated the whole incident including the last part of her knowing that Lina and Dev were to be engaged. "Why did you tell her", she asked . "You don't know what she will do , you will never know," she sounded scared . "What happened and I think she remembers her too", Lina said . "Lina you have done a grave mistake now no one can save Dev if she gets to the truth , shes capable of doing the worst like she did in her childhood to protect Meera.""You can't be serious you think she meant those words when she said she could kill any person who harms her friend, shes so ...she can't", Lina spoke shocked . "She has Lina . She has and she will do it again.Are you really sure that is what she was mumbling when you heard her"."Yes". "Then she knows something too . I think she is there for a motive ." Saying this she disconnected the call .
Maan went to his room and was looking at his picture with Meera on his laptop talking to her, "It happened again Meera . I consoled her . I don't know but it hurt me to see her cry". He heard a knock on his door and saw Lina there , "Maan I wanted to ask you something", Lina said gaining his attention . "What is it". "How much do you know about Meera's childhood friends before she was transferred here with us in the 9th grade". With her question he was taken in to the past .
Flashback
Maan and Meera were having their lunch . Just then Meera's cell vibrated she looked up and her face was having a bright smile,"Maan please excuse me for this one okay". It was almost an hour but she did come back. Maan went up to her, "Meera let's go , who is it that is more important than me ". "Don't be jealous Maan its a childhood friend, who was just concerned". "Can I know the name", He asked. "Nope, its a secret , you will meet her at our wedding", She grinned". "Okay", he said letting the matter go".
Present
"Umm...nothing much , just that she missed some friend of hers and used to write letters to her ." "Anything else", she inquired further . "She used to talk to someone when we were together asking that person to be at our wedding, though I think the other person did not used to comply to her requests , I was looking forward to meet this rival in my life though , whom my Meera loved so much , but she always said it will be a surprise", he thought about their days when he used to complaint to her about her giving more attention to that person than him . "Okay then good night", Lina was leaving when he asked , "Why are you asking me this , is something wrong", he inquired . "Umm...nothing was just curious". Lina now went to Geet's room , she knocked on her room before entering .
She saw Geet standing near the huge window looking out . "Are you angry with me , will you stop being friends with me", Lina asked Geet . She turned around facing her , "No , I'm not angry at you Lina, just angry at myself for being fooled like this", Geet said sadly . "I'm sorry", Lina apologized . "Can I ask you what did he do to both of you that you hate him so much now", Geet inquired . "He...He tried to videotape me when his friends were forcing me", Lina cried remembering that horrific memory . Geet hugged Lina and said in a cold tone , " He will pay for it soon , Lina , don't worry , I promise you that". "Its okay Geet ,I m through that phase. Good night then"."You did not tell me why Maan hate him", Geet asked a retreating Lina . "Its something not me to tell and you to know Geet. You must be tired rest for today.We will go to the disc tomorrow like we planned", saying this she left Geet .
The next day , Maan and Geet were resting after their sparing . "Maan , that flower in the center of the garden , you always take care of it fondly . Is it your favorite", she asked him . "This garden was my mother's favorite and that flower it was planted by someone and that person asked me to take care of it", He said . "Was that someone a girl , was it Lina". "It wasn't Lina , leave it , tell me something about yourself too , now that we are friends". "Me, I had a friend in school , she was someone very fragile", she smiled . "But then she left , and went to a different school in a different city . She made friends there and fell in love with someone", saying this she looked at him . Maan saw a different emotion in her eyes but it vanished so soon . "Where is that person who planted that flower with you", She asked .
"Shes no more , she left me", he cried . "Sorry you must be finding it weird me tearing up all the time thinking that I'm weak", he said wiping his face . "No , I think its a very brave thing to let out your inner feelings . I envy you sometimes . You have got a loving and caring friend, a good grandmother who loves you so much more that you know she even came to me to request me to get along with you . But guess we started on the wrong foot , I am happy I found good friends here"."What about the friend you were talking about . I'm sure she loves you too", he asked . "Shes here", she pointed towards her heart, " And there", she pointed towards the sky .Maan looked at her in disbelief , "You mean she ...". "Died...Yup she died four years ago in a fire accident . And now my only wish is to make the person who burned her suffer , I have taken care of the rest though", she said coldly . Maan touched her shoulder to shake her , "Geet you okay", she calmed down hearing him and smiled ."Yes". "So was that person your girlfriend", She inquired further . "Fiancee", he answered . "Did you love her". "I do and I will till my last breath." Geet could sense the intensity in his words . She looked ahead happy .
Lina came to get the two back . Maan received a call from Adi , "Sir , I found the whereabouts of that girl Mia. Shes been killed , sir . It happened last night around 3 am in the morning shes found thrown in a valley , her body was decomposed , and mostly vultures devoured her flesh". "Are you sure its her , you said its decomposed". "Yes sir positive". "Now what how will I get those tapes from her ." Geet was hearing the conversation , a devilish smirk adorning her face .She dialed a number , "Did you do the cleaning". "Yes Maam. No one can find out you were there". "Good , very good and now for the final act to begin". Lina heard her . Geet was shocked to see her there . "Oh looks like I have been caught . You are a sharp one Lina , I really like you no wonder she did too". "What did you Geet , tell me". "Nothing", she pretended to think , "Oh you mean that hey I was just cleaning the dirt", she smirked . "Later Lina". Now Lina was really scared seeing this face of her . This girl knew no mercy . She can go to any limits and killing someone was not a big deal for her . "What is she".
