Chapter 18

Geet clutched Maan's hand, already feeling scared of Dadima. And he said she was cool. She looked at Maan, unbelievingly, when he started laughing. Jaan meri jaa rahi hai aur pagal yeh horahe hai.

Seeing Geet's tensed yet confused face, Dadima couldn't hold herself any longer as well.

"Areh beta, hum mazaak kar rahe the," she said, gently patting Geet's face to which she let out a nervous laugh.

"He-ello, Hello Dadima," she said, folding her hands. "Nahi woh I mean Namaste Dadima," she corrected herself as she held out her hand for a handshake and Maan and Dadima couldn't help but chuckle at her.

Mere saamne bari sherni phirti rehti hai aur khood Dadima se darti hai, Maan amusingly thought to himself.

"Hello Geet bete," Dadima said as she forwarded herself for a hug. "Chaliye, andar jaake baat karte hai. Aayiye Geet," she led her inside followed by Maan.

Wah Geet!!! Teri toh lottery lag gayi, Geet told herself as she took sight of the Mansion. Handsome Hubby, Cool Dadi-in-law and acha ghar. Let's hope the devar and nand are equally cool.

"Pehle main,"

"I said pehle mein,"

"I also said pehle mein, Miss Annie, the Nanny," Vicky said as he tapped her head.

"Dekh Nanny mat bulao," Annie said.

"Bulaaonga, kya karlega???" Vicky instigated her.

"Toh tu tu haan tere dost ke saamne teko Vikram bulaaongi, haan Vikram, yehi naam hai na tera???" Annie threatened her.

"Oye Annie ki bachi, aisa kiya toh tere joh lambe baal hai na, use kaat loonga, meri Desi Rampunzel," Vicky threatened her, pulling her hair which was tied in a ponytail.

"Aaahhh!!!" Annie shrieked and scratched Vicky with her nails in attempt to free her hair.

"Aaahhh!!! Chudail kahi ki," Vicky let out, immediately releasing her hair.

"Chudail??? Dadiii!!!" Annie whined loudly.

"Hum yahi hai bete, aur Geet bhi!!!" Dadima drew their attention to the 3 silent spectators who had watched everything that transpired between them.

"Errr woh...ummm"

"Iss ne shura kiya," both said in unison pointing to the other.

"Kiss ne kiya kiya hum ne sab dekha," Maan said glaring at them, his arms crossed over his chest. "Aur Vicky, kitni dafa bola hai ke Annie ko Nanny mat bulao," Maan reminded Vicky, nearing him and Annie gave that winning look to Vicky. There!!!

"Nanny mat bulao yaar. She likes it Desi!!! Naani bulao," Maan joked giving Viky a hi-5, leaving Annie with her jaw opened, while Dadi chuckled. And Geet, well she never thought Maan would be this open with his family. She was in awe of the trio siblings, something she never lived with neither a brother nor a sister by her side.

"Bhaiii!!! Aaap bhi???!!!" Annie pouted.

"All for boys power," Maan teased her, lifting his hands helplessly in the air.

"Fine!!! Fair deal!!! At least I'll have Bhabhi by my side now and shaadi ke baad I'll make sure you sleep on the couch daily agar aise hi Vicky ki tarafdaari karte rahe," Annie said showing them a thumbs down as she approached an embarrassed Geet while Dadima could only laugh at their silly banter. Well, she was used to it by now.

"Hi Geet Bhabhi!!! I'm Anwesha, but sab mujhe Annie bulate hai. Fortunately, iss ghar ke eklauti samajhdar bachi but unfortunately uss duffer Vicky ki twin," she said as she glared Vicky. "Hi Ann..."

"Shut up Silly Nanny ooopsss I mean Annie," Vicky cut Geet and irritated Annie further as he also made his way towards Geet.

"And I'm Vicky Bhabhi!!! Bro ka chota bhai and Annie ka BARA Bhai," he emphasised on the word *bara*, "And Khuranas ke sabse handsome and strong member," he said flaunting his muscles and then leaning towards her, he added "ok Maan Bhai se thode kam," he whispered with a wink.

"Hi Vicky, Geet forwarded her hand but ignoring that he hugged her tighly, "Oh c'mon we're friends Bhabhi, so hug to banta hai," he said in his usual self.

"Oye Mr Banta, now choro usse," Maan said freeing Geet, who was totally not expecting a hug. Well, I guess we WILL mix pretty soon, she thought, realising both Annie and Vicky were indeed very welcoming.

"Waise Bhabhi, I must admit, you are one in a million," Vicky said after while.

Lo!!! Abhi se chamchagiri shuru, Maan thought to himself.

"Areh Wah, abhi se hi apni Bhabhi ki taarif karna shuru," Dadi spoke out Maan's thoughts.

"Of course Dadi. After all it's not in everyone's means to punish THE MSK!!! Kyun???!!!" he teased Maan, giving Annie a hi-5 as Dadi and Geet chuckled seeing an embarrassed Maan.

"Excuse me," Geet said, attending her call while all were seated around the dining table.

"So, Geet kaisi lagi Dadima???" Maan seized the opportunity.

"Dekho toh Dadima, aise pooch rahe hai jaise hamare kuch kehne se unhe farq parne waala hai," Vicky grabbed the chance to pull his legs again.

"Exactly!!! Dadima ki opinion itni hi important thi toh unhi ki pasand ki ladki se shaadi karte. Woh thi na, unke ummm haan, Amritsar waali behen ki sister-in-law ki poti," Annie added her part.

"Shut up will you!!!" Maan ordered both at once to which they immediately put their fingers on their respective mouth.

"Relax Bete!!! Woh to bas aap ke taang kheech rahe hai. And as far as Geet is concerned, hamein toh woh bahut pasand hai. Bahut hi pyaari bachi hai woh. I'm sure aap un ke saath bahut khush rahenge," Dadi told him, patting his cheek lovingly as both siblings nodded positively. Of course, they were happy for their bro!!!

"I'm sorry Dadima. But I need to go now. It's quite late and my friend is waiting for me. Ussi ka call tha," Geet explained as she finished her call.

"I understand bete. Lekin dobara zaroor aayiye ga. Woh bhi jaldi," Dadi replied, standing up as she lovingly patted her head. "Maan bete, jaayiye, Geet ko chor ke aayiye," She told him.

"Areh Bhai!!! Rukiye rukiye!!! Aap takleef kyun le rahe hai, main chala jaata hoon Bhabhi ko drop karne aur Annie bhi aayegi. Issi bahane we will get to know her more, haina Annie," he said winking at her.

"Yea yea zaroor zaroor. Why not???!!!" she replied not looking at Maan though. She was aware how he was glaring at Vicky.

"Chup badmash!!!" Dadi smacked him on the back. "He's your big brother. Stop teasing him. Maan bete aap jaayiye," and with that Geet hugged them all, wishing them good night and went off with Maan!!!

"Andar nahi aaoge Maan???" Geet asked him, bending by the car window. Sensing his hesitation, she added, "Don't worry Maan, andar sirf Pinky hogi. Adi doesn't stay till late here. Aao na, we'll have coffee and then you can go. Kya khayal hai???"

"Khayal toh zabardast hai," he said, feeling a bit at ease as he flashed a wide smile at her. "Wait, let me park the car," and with that he went to park the car by the side.

"So chalein, Mrs hone waali Khurana," he said holding her hand which invited a smile from him.

And then reaching the door, she opened it only to... Wait!!! What was that???

"Surprise!!!" All said together while Geet looked at Maan who stared back blankly.
