City Hospital

Two men and an old lady were waiting outside the operation theater ..one man was in full tension walking to and fro outside the operation theater will other two were sitting calmly and watching him..

Raj- mohinder calm down..

Mohinder- i can't why this doctor is not coming outside aur kitna time!

Raj shook his head and looked at his mother- maa ab aap hi samjhiye isse..

Savitri- leave it raj..last time when dev was going to be born ur condition was not less than him..she taunted her own son

Soon the doctor came out from the door, mohinder and raj immediately moved to her ..

Mohinder- doc..but doctor cut him in between and said

Doc- congrats Mr.handa it's an girl! And both daughter and mother are fit and fine..

Mohinder- sachii.., doc nodded his head , raj and savitri too got happy after hearing this..,raj hugged mohinder and congratulated him..

Savitri-ghar mei ek aur lakshmi aagayi..raj call maya and inform her..in the mean time i and mohinder will meet rano and the baby..

Raj-jii maa.., raj moved to call his wife while savitri and mohinder moved inside to meet rano and the new born..

An hour later

A big Mercedes stopped outside the city hospital, first the driver got out of the car and opened the door..two tiny little feets came out of the car followed by another tiny little feets , while from other side a woman dressed in saari with a small kid of 3 years old came out the car..

The impatient little boy with quick steps moved towards his mom and asked

Boy- mom be quick na..i and reet want to see the new baby..

Reet- hai aunty jaldi chalo na..

Maya-maan be patient we are going there only na.. with that both kids started following maya..

Soon they reached to the desired floor but suddenly reet remembered something..

Reet- oh no..i left the card in car only ab kya..

Maan- how careless u r reet

Maya turned back to see them talking.. now what happened to u both abhi toh jaldi jaldi kar rahethe aur ab..

Maan- mom reet is so careless..she left the card which we made to welcome the new baby in the car only..

Reet- i didn't do it intentionally aunty..and why are u blaming me maan u too can have brought it..she blamed him..

Maan- haww..see mom she only said not to touch it as i will spoil it ab sara blame mujhe pe dala rahi hai.. and their tu tu main main continued for another minute..maya held her head seeing them .

Maya-enough both of u..give that card later now come..

Reet- no i promised baby that i will welcome her with that card only..i can't break my promise.. her eyes were already filled with tears as she explained her situation..

Maya- accha accha thik hai..we will go back and get ur card okay..maan go straight from here to room no.405 ,all are there only..

Maan-thank god i din't promised something like that to baby..i will meet the baby first! Excitedly he said and showed his tongue to reet , who made a face..

Maya- maan! Don't tease her..and dev she looked at her other son who was not ready to leave her..go with ur bro ..maan hold his hand ..

Dev-no..

Maya- dev ..mama is coming in a while go and be with ur papa..

Dev- na..

Maan- dev come with me i will show u something interesting..

Dev-w...wht??

Maan- come..he held his hand and diverted his mind from their mother in some other talks..

Maya was happy to see her elder son who is so understanding.. she along with reet left to ground floor again..

Finally maan and dev reached outside the room no.405,maan glanced inside to see whether his family is there or not to his surprise everyone was present there only but were busy in making the new baby quiet who was crying her lungs out.. while dev as soon as he saw his dad he ran towards him and held his leg..

Rano who was sitting quietly and enjoying the drama in front of her laughed when she saw dev - Raj ji i think u have to go out of this competition now as dev is here..

Raj glanced at dev and said- champ go and sit there dadda is busy now.. he again diverted his attention to the new member in the family..but dev was stubborn child he can't see his dadda giving attention to someone else and as a result he too started crying..at last raj has to get out of it taking dev with him he went outside..at the door he saw maan who was silently watching all this ..

Raj- hey maan what r u doing outside ..don't u want to meet the baby..

Maan- but dad she is crying..

Raj-go and meet her kya pata tumhe dekh ke chup hojaaye..patting is cheeks raj left from there with dev..

Maan slowly moved inside ,rano saw him and called him near her..She caressed his face lovingly

Maan- rano maa why is she crying??is she hungry??

Rano- she is not hungry ..i feed her now only..

Maan-she wants to come to u..

Rano-she cries more..

Maan- she is cry baby..

Rano chuckled at this- don't u want to meet her??

Maan- i want to but she is crying na ..

Rano- so what go and see her..

Maan- r u sure??

Rano nodded her head ..maan moved towards his dadima and mohinder uncle who were trying to make baby quiet , they were making funny funny faces, talking to her in baby language but nothing was working..

Maan moved closer to them and saw the new born she was white like cotton..but her face was red due to crying ..her eyes were closed as if she was irritated.. with curious eyes maan moved towards her and looked at her..

As if feeling someone gaze on her , the baby opened her hazel eyes and looked at him..she blinked her eyes to clear her sight , she too glanced at him with same curiosity as him..

Her crying was long forgotten as she got busy in glancing maan..

Both kids were lost in glancing each other while elders were surprised to see this..

Dadima- finally she stopped crying..

Mohinder- hmm..

But the silence lived short in the room as reet along with maya came inside the room ,reet pulled maan back breaking their eye contact..

The baby got another person to glance at while reet too lovingly looked at her sister

Reet-aww..she is so cute

Maya- indeed she is !

Reet-..papa she is so small..she was going to touch her when her father held her hand-reet have ur washed ur hand ??

She made a face indicating she didn't- don't touch her without washing hands she might get ill...

Reet- hmm..

hearing this maan immediately ran outside

Dadima- ye kaha gaya??

Reet- leave him dadima ..let me show this card to my sister...with that reet started showing her hand made card which she made along with maan to welcome her sister..the baby got new object to stare at..

When maan returned back..the room was almost empty , rano was resting on bed looking towards her two daughters while dadima was holding baby and reet was still busy in describing her card..soon the baby yawned indicating she is going to sleep..Maan with quick steps moved towards them but before proceeding he looked at rano

Maan- maa..she is sleeping should i brought her there..

Rano-hai maan..but be careful..

As maan was going to pick the baby , reet slapped his hand and mimicked her dad- maan did u washed ur hand..don't u know ki..but maan cut her in between..

Maan- chup hojao chatter box i already washed my hand.. see..he showed his hand giving her a winning smile

Dadima- maan sambhal ke.hold it like this..she showed him how to hold and helped him to hold her..when she was sure baby is safe she allowed him to move..

Maan-dadima don't worry i'm strong boy i will not drop her..

With careful steps he moved towards rano , rano carefully took baby from his hand and placed baby near her ..maan touched baby's cheeks - she is so soft maa..

Rano- she is small na issiliye..

The baby was still looking at him continuously she used blink then again get back to look at him..

Maan- why she is looking at me like that..

Rano- i think she likes u..

Maan- really??

Rano- hmm

Maan was happy to know that the baby likes him , he looked at her and gave a big smile to her and kissed her cheeks showing his affection towards her!

how was it??

hope not that bad..typed it in hurry..will end past in next update..just wanted to show their childhood..
