The day he stepped out of her room, just being unrecognized by his love, he felt falling in to the same pit from which he thought he would be out very soon...the bottomless deep dark pit.
His love haven't recognized him, he expected her to call his name first when she would ever gain conscious. But it never happened .. The small house of sweet and lovely dreams, they built in past few days crashed right there ..

Karu ... Karu where is he ?? .. she asked him ... maan was taken back if her push was not enough than her asking about karan as first thing after gaining her conscious was not what he imagined ... karan ? her friend ?
Geet .....he tried one more time to get her attention back on him...
I asked where is karu... and who r u ??... She asked and his world collapsed listening her words...No...no this can't just happen ..
Geet, don't u know who I m ??....maan was shaking from inside...his geet not recognizing him...
Maan asked once again ... he wanted geet to say she knows him and she was just joking ... but her words broke him further ...
I don't know u mister ..and I would like to meet karu or my father...she said firmly...
u don't know me Geet .. please don't say this ... he held her shoulders and pleaded.
with what right u r holding me ? who are u ??? I don't know u ..she tried pushing him away ... "karuu " .. she raised her voice ..
Just then karan stepped into the room ..
Geetu.. Thank God ...u r Ok .. you scared hell out of us ......he moved in not before giving angry glare to maan.
nothing happened to me karu .....she hugged him .. karan reciprocated the hug .. he was happy... Geet called him karu ..his nick name, after so many years .. His friend was back ..
What are u doing here ? u may leave....karan said looking at maan .. maan in turn looked at Geet, as if he wanted her to stop him ... he wanted to stay with her, it must be him not karan whom she was hugging but geet didn't even spare him a look ..she just smiled at karan and ignored him as if she never knew him or he even existed in her life ever ..
He left the ward ... looking one last time at Geet, with broken heart .. he lost her .. she don't remember him anymore ... Maan Singh Khurana was broken once again ... his life took another turn ...when he though he already suffered much and he deserve happiness now ..., his life taught him , there r more hurdles ..and more pain ahead ...life is not that easy and there is long way to go ..

And now that he was out of her room , everything was meaningless .. His future was dark again and so was present ..
He glanced one last time from the view glass of door, he saw karan patting her forehead ... He didn't know whom he should blame ?? Her for not recognizing him , or him for being so helpless ??

Now that she doesn't know you, don't bother coming here .. I dont want to take any risk on her health ......karan told him that day, when he was leaving the hospital premises .. but he never lost hope .. how could he just let go off his love that easily ?
Every day he would come, and wait to get the glimpse of his love, who slept there under the doze of medicines, she wasn't discharged yet, because of severe injuries doctor kept her under examination ..And he was not allowed to go there, and meet her ... He so wanted to sit beside her, cares and kiss her forehead whenever she would open her eyes ... he wished to hear his name when she needed help ...
What if she don't recognize him ... he remembered everything ..
From giving her first aid in plane to saving her from drowning , and from making snacks for her to sharing their first kiss .. He recalled those moments each second ... he relived them every passing minute , he won't let those memories faint ..
Today too he came to visit her as usual ... He saw karan leaving her room .. most probably he went to discuss Geet's condition with doctor ..
He fastened his pace and entered her room .. She was still asleep , as it was early morning ... He felt contended seeing her from close after long time ... tracing his fingers on her face , he felt her for few seconds .. She blinked her eyes , he was afraid to disturb her sleep ..
He placed a soft kiss on her forehead and left , before karan stepped back in to the room ...
A week later
She was finally discharged from hospital , everything was back to normal, except for the fact that she doesn't recognize and she don't remember having any fight with karan .. she don't remember having any sameera in her life ... She treated karan as her best friend once again ... and he was happy to have his friend back, though it cost her high ..
Another week passed and Geet was doing pretty well by now ..so karan decided to throw a party and it had two reasons .. first his friend was back and secondly she recovered from critical stage ..

Meanwhile , in a coffee shop

She bribed the private investigator(who was hired by karan) to investigate Geet and maan, wherever they went .. where they met in fact each and every detail about them ..
That is how, the picture and video clicked and recorded in Paris by her PA was given to Private Investigator so that he can sent it to geet ...that way there wont b any link to her even if someone investigate. It was all her plan to trap maan and she was the one who planned to sent picture and video to Geet that day .. as she come to know about their meeting and she knew maan is going to tell Geet, the truth about his past that's why she sent pictures to geet before she met maan and she had severe accident ...
Your work is done ...now take your money and don't show your face to anyone ever in this city.... Sameera gave a pile of money to the investigator and left smirking... Her planned worked better than expected ...
She reached her flat n start getting ready for party...it will fun watching maan n geet separated today. She come to know to about geet memory loss from mohinder. She so much wanted to visit hospital to see maan being in devastated state but she was stopped by mohinder. Maan deserved this for rejecting her n choosing geet over her. She was lost in her thought when mohinder came behind her.
What are u getting ready for ?? mohinder asked sameera ..
isn't it party today ??....sameera asked hesitantly
yes it is ... but there is no need for u to go there....mohinder said in flat tone
and why is that so ? why can't I go there ?... she asked furiously ...
For the same reason I told u to stay in this flat rather than handa mansion...Geet is not fully recovered yet...any shock or bad memory, can be dangerous to her health .. so u better refrain from going in front of her for some time now...after saying so he left from there.
Mohinder first time talked to her in this tone ... he warned her for meeting geet, as he cant take any risk now. Geet has proved herself to be strong n can handle business well. So now onwards he wont suppress his love for her ...no one matter to him other than geet n her health.
Party hall
Party was on full swing .. All employees of Handas were invited ..
Geet entered the party hall with karan , everyone clapped and welcomed her ..some presented her flowers bouquets and some blessed her ...
But a pair of eyes, scrutinized her from far... It has been almost two weeks he haven't seen her, she was shifted to handa mansion and he wasn't able to see her or meet her ..his eyed pained to get one glimpse, and his heart longed to be with her
She looked fresh and pretty, not that she never looked pretty before but today she looked ethereal in white saree, diamond studs and bracelet was the only jewelry she carried with high heels and she walked gracefully hand in hand with karan ...maan kept noticing her each and every move ...his inner self burn in jealousy seeing geet so near to karan. He just wants to kidnap her and keep close to him. He is still clueless what happened to geet that night but he know something was wrong...he need to find out soon who was behind it.
