The Myth

The test of a true myth is that each time u return to it , new insights and interpretations arise.

A saying Or belief Or fact Or superstition Or Myth ... these words play an important part in ppl's life ,, many blindly believe or live their lives on some belief nd myths ,, from d time of d bith of a child to till his/her end some belief never left them ,, those ppl trust a priest who himself a human being nd it's also said that human is a bundle of mistakes ,, then how cn a priest be trusted blindly ? Does a priest's words r more important than an innocent child ? If yes then where is humanity , love , care nd family bonding ? Where r relations nd their warmth ? Where is Truth nd Reality ?

Geet: mr Richard , all d designs r very nice nd I want some time to think over all ,, cn I have these designs with me to see again ,, we'll discuss on it TM or when u get time.

Mngr: yeah sure ,, MK nd Rozer r living here for observing d work ,, our team of workers , machines nd material supplies starting coming from TM .

Geet: OK , that good ,, do u arranged any guard for security here ,, I saw 2 more tents next to it.

Mngr: yes , there is a worker family nd 2 more male workers r living here ,, they wr doing d cleaning nd fencing work ,, some machines nd materials r already here so their presence is must for security reason .

Geet surprised : but how they r managing in this place with out water , power nd other food supplies ? It's hard to live here with family .

Mngr: u r right here , but we have a generator nd a small bore-well to work ,, without water nothing is possible .

Geet: but u said u need permission for bore-well , nd that'll take 2-3 more days .

Mngr : that is for tube-well for agri use ,, this small bore-well is for domestic use ,, for this u don't need to follow that process.

Geet: OK, that good for me too ,, I think I need to pay nd call to municipal office for water tanker ,, I need water for my Carvan .

Mngr: no don't call them ,, we have our supply , MK nd Rozer r here for any help.

Geet: that's fine ,, cn we take a look of works ,, d solar workers wr also doing their work.

Mngr: yeah ,, let go , then I have to leave .,, r u staying here today?

Geet: yes , I m here for 2 days ,, I have booking in an Inn .

Mngr : that good , hope u'll finalize any plan for FH in these days.

Geet: hope so .

Maan became tense ,, she was staying here alone , but why ? How DJ permitted her for this ? he was eager to talk her ,, he became worried for Geet .

All came out for checking d work ,, the farm was vast nd Geet cdn't go to d end so she wished to check d fencing work near by gate nd then they went to check d solar energy system nd poles ,, d engg told them about d system ,, there was 4 poles at d front line nd rest they will install later .,, few necessary requirements wr provided nd rest cd be done in next few days ,, most probably from coming week FH work cd be start .

Mngr was getting late to go back ,, he had to meet with elec officer so excused himself .

Mngr: ms Singh ,I have to leave now before closing d office I have to meet d elec officer ,, MK nd Rozer r here to clear ur doubts ,, they cn change in plan if u want any .

Geet: ok , thanks ,, u must go mr Richard ,, see u soon , bye.

Mngr: bye ms Singh ,, MK , plzz take care of everything .

Maan: sure sir .

Richard left nd Geet roamed around to check d works ,, Maan nd Rozer wr with her nd describing her ,, they reached at d place where d house had to built.

Maan: do u want basement too ?

Geet: basement ?? aamm,, I didn't think about that ,, what was d use of that here ?

Maan: it's up to u , how u want to use that ,, u cn make a small swimming pool there .

Geet confused : in basement ,, is that safe nd good ?

Rozer: of course ms singh ,, we have many designs , small pool with 4 -5 feet depth .

Geet liked d idea , but she was not sure ,, Maan saw her taste in caravan ,, she is very innovative .

Maan: 1^st see some pics nd then think ,, I m sure u'll like that , a small pool for d family .

Geet: but what about d processing system ,, I don't want any big machinery in basement .

Rozer: that cn be fixed in backside on ground floor .

Geet looked confused ,, she was not getting how it work in basement.

Maan: we'll show u d process nd few designs nd then think ,, OK .

Geet: hum, lets go ,I want to see d BP again then i'll think over it , one more thing mr Rozer , I want to fill d water tank of my caravan ,, plzz see , is there any long pipe with ur bore-well , otherwise I have to bring that TM from farmer mrkt .

Rozer: sure , i'll see , otherwise d worker'll fill that some how , u don't have to worry when I m here .

He boasted to make an impression on Geet , but Maan didn't like that , he fumed inwardly nd gave a glare to Rozer ,, Geet didn't bother about all that nd moved towards her caravan after thanking both of them ,, Maan sent Rozer to check d last fencing line nd himself moved to bring BP to give Geet ,, he didn't like Rozer's presence there ,, he was eager to talk Geet ,, this was d best opportunity, bcoz she cdn't avoid him here , but he was worried for her too ,, what if she come in some prob ?

Geet opened her phone nd mailed Kabir giving her well being , then she opened d kitchen cabinets nd checked d required things ,, which she gave to workers 2 days before to keep in caravan ,, took out elec kettle , mugs nd other things for making coffee or tea. Set them near cooking range ,, she decided to leave for Inn at eve ,, she had few hrs in hand to see d BP.

Maan knocked at d door nd entered after getting her reply ,, he felt very excited nd happy near her .

Maan: Geet , ye Blue-prints ,, let me show u one by one .

Geet gestured him to sit ,, it was his designs nd only he cd explain well so she had to bear him ,, there was no use of running away from him ,, bcoz after few days she had to face him in college or then cd be in Dev's marriage ,, she herself wanted to face him here in Canada to humiliate him so better to show him that she cd also reject him nd live happily ,, he was nothing to her nd wdn't affect her life ,, better he taste d same rejection like a slow poison , which she bore ,, even more than him.

Maan sat in front of him nd opened a blue-print ,, it was nice but in this he planned to use wood partitions inside as most of d houses in abroad use ,, Geet didn't want wooden partitions ,, it was ground + 1 storey house ,, geet told him to show other one ,, Maan showed that ,, this was planned to bult with bricks nd blocks ,, a duplex type ,,wooden floor , wooden staircases ,, arched doors nd windows , fusion of mod nd roman archi ,, it was looking beautiful but Geet want old Victorian era's design ,, simple but a royal look ,, plus she want a small but open house so that their family cn manage that easily without servant's help ,, domestic help was an extra expenditure for them , nd keeping helpers in abroad was costly ,, d third one plan was like a cottage , all side open , with a pool ,, Geet like that design but not d pool nd all side open ,,bcoz this place was near a lake ,, if they wd like to enjoy d open water then they cn go out at lake ,, this place receive good rain in season so all side open was not good option for rain nd winter winds.

At last geet opened her note pad nd draw a rough design taking few parts from his two designs ,, Maan was watching her curiously ,, it was a all covered house with slant roofs ,, single storey with a dome in middle ,, a round small green lawn or patio in mid ,, 4 rooms at 2 sides , one side open kitchen dinning nd living hall nd one side guest room nd library ,, stone wall outside nd bricks insides ,, a common round corridor/varanda all three side ,, dome with clear/glass roof to make whole house wd be well lit in day time with sunlight ,, in night nd rain that wd give more beautiful look of stars , moon ,, cloudy sky nd raindrops ,, at front a lawn with swing nd a small kitchen gardens at d back side of kitchen so that kitchen drain cd be use for watering d plants .,, this kitchen garden was in d middle of her Caravan nd house .

On slant roof facing sun cn be use for solar system ,, Geet wanted max use convn source of energy to get power ,, solar water heater , lights nd wind-mill power for tube-well ,, Govt was giving good subsi to encourage ppl to use these sources of energy ,, Maan liked that plan nd he cd finish that technically ,, he adored Geet with love filled eyes ,, he himself was unknown how he was looking at her nd Geet was busy in her work .

Maan got d call from Rozer who asked about him ,, Maan replied nd Geet looked at him .

Geet: don't call him here to meet , go out to talk him .

Maan: OK .

Maan got up nd went out to meet Rozer ,, he himself didn't like him ,, Maan found Rozer near d van , but Maan took him in d tent ,, asked about d work progress ,, d sun was near to set nd weather became lil cloudy ,, d sea was not very far so rain was unexpected ,, after giving reports Rozer wished to go out .

Rzr: MK , it's a beautiful place nd there is a lake lil away so I want to enjoy d visit ,, I want to spent nyt in a boat with a warm company ,, wd u like to join ?

Maan understood d meaning of his warm company in a boat ,, he was not that type of man ,, Geet was there nd he cdn't leave her alone ,, he need to talk her where she was staying at nyt ? He had to live around her for safety , though he knew well that she wd deny , but he was determined .

Maan: no Rozer , u go , I have my sleeping bag ,, i'll stay here nd like to intrect with workers who wr working here from last one week .

Rzr: sure .

Maan: yes ,, u cn go , but come back on d time in d mrng .

Rzr: yeah , sure ,, OK then I m leaving , may be ms singh also leave after some time ,, so enjoy ur peaceful stay in farm , bye ,, see u TM .

Maan: bye Rozer .

Rzr took his bag pack nd went out from there ,, Maan took out his drawing kit nd cmae back to van ,, Geet was preparing tea for her .

Maan : need help ?

Geet: no , thanks .

Maan : Cn I use ur kitchen for making black coffee for me .

Geet: huumm,, sure ,, here r d things ,, Geet took her mug nd sat comfortably in d sofa ,, Maan smiled , thanked her nd made a strong black coffee for him ,, he felt delighted .. Coffee with Geet in her beautiful caravan surrounded with vast fields nd FHs ,, it was like a beautiful picnic for him ,, both wr sipping their hot brewing tea/coffee.

Maan: if ur rough plan finished then I cn draw that fair with ur ideas , means how much big nd small plan u want .

Geet : yeah almost , rest u cn do ,, now I have to leave for village.

Maan: village , for what ?

Geet: I m staying in an Inn .

Maan: what ,, r u crazy geet ,, u'll live in an village Inn alone ,, wait i'll go with u there .

Geet: no need mr MK ,, I m not a kid nd cn live alone , I have visited this place before too..

Maan shocked : alone !!!

Geet: with DJ nd uncle .

Maan: with DJ nd uncle na ,, now u r alone , I won't leave u alone in DJ nd uncle's absence ,, what if something go wrong in unknown place ? No way ,, u cn stay where do u want but i'll stay near u for security .

Geet annoyed : don't show ur concern mr MK ,, mind ur own business ,, u r belong to this CO nd doing my FH work so I m bearing u ,, it's professional , but I don't want any personal involvement ,, I cn manage my life .

Maan hurt : Geet plzz don't get angry nd try to understand ,, uncle or DJ r not with u ,, u know ur BP cd go low ,, it's not safe to live alone in an Inn ... aur plzz gussa matt karo ,, keep ur cool.

Geet retort back : how cn I be cool when u r around me ?

Maan: I m around u from many hrs nd we r working nd sitting together then why not at night .

Geet: I said I don't need ur concern ,, u have a special one to serve her or to take care of her ,, spare me .

Maan: fine then I m calling to uncle or DJ ,, I m confused why they send u here .

Maan kept d mug on table nd started searching Kabir's number to call him again ,, Geet saw d time nd guessed that it was nearly 10-11 hrs nd DJ nd uncle's flight cd be land at airport ,, she was shocked nd feared for opening her secret ,, she knew if DJ nd Uncle got that she was here alone they wd become very angry nd panic ... No she cn't let him talk to them .

Geet got up nd snatched his phone all of sudden nd closed that ,, Maan didn't expect this nd looked at her shocked .

Maan: Geet ??

Geet: dare u call them ,, why r u calling them ?

Maan: Geet , I m only asking them ,, simple ,, give me back my phone .

Geet: no way ,, u won't call them ,,, samjhe .

Maan: ku , ku nahi ker sakta ? meri marji mai kisi ko bhi phone karu , tum ku rok rahi ho ?

Geet: kisi ko bhi karo ,lekin DJ aur kabir uncle ko nahi .

Maan gave a thoughtful look to her nd felt something fishy ,, he was shocked at her behaviour .

Maan: Geet I called them daily, so there was no issue to call them ,, I just ask them ..

Geet angry: I told u to stay away from my matter,, u won't call them nd talked about me ,, don't interfere in my personal matter . u won't tell them anything about me .

Maan feared : Geet , calm down ,, plzz ,, OK mai nahi karunga , lekin gussa nahi kerna , tumhari tabiyat kharab ho jayegi ... shant ho jao.

Geet realized that she was getting angry which was not good for her nd baby , but this man was creating prob for her ,, she breath out nd breath in few times to calm her ,, his phone was still in her hand ,, Maan made her sit nd knelt near her worried .

Maan: tum janti ho stress aur gusse se tumhara BP low ho jata hei fir etna gussa ku kerti ho ? plzz shant ho jao , hum aaram se bhi bat ker sakty hein ,, paani du ?

Geet sighed : no , I m fine , but I m warning u , don't call them .

Maan: Baat kya hei Geet ? sach bolo ? mujhe kuch gadbad lagti hei ,, tum kuch chupa rahi ho , darr rahi ho ?

Geet thought to trap him ,, with this attitude he won't agree nd cd try to contact uncle nd DJ , so better to take him in confidence with sweet words .. kya karu , matlab per gadhe ko bhi baap banna padta hei .

Maan: tell me Geet , what is d matter ?

Geet: listen mr MK , it's a secret ,, DJ nd uncle don't know that I m here .

Maan shocked : what ???

Geet gave a faint smile : yes ,, this Caravan is a surprised for them , nd i'll gift it to them after 5 days .

Maan was staring at her ,, she took this risk for giving them surprise ,nd came here alone lying them .

Maan: u lied them to come here ? Didn't u think once that it cd upset them if they get that u r alone here in this condition ,, r u mad Geet ?

Geet: aamm,, wo ,, they r not here actually ,, they went Delhi today ,, I planned this before their departure ,, this is ...

Maan hell shocked : what !! OMG !!! ( Maan threaded his fingers in his hair in tension , got up nd sighed sadly ) G e e t ,, u r really mad ,, why u did this ? God !! they r not here nd unknown what u r doing behind their back putting ur life in danger .

Maan gave a disappointed look to Geet who was looking at him with a pout ,, helpless ,, she was cribbing her stars for sending Maan there , who was ready to spoil her plan .
