Chapter 2
Freaking Fantabulous!!
You are absolutely brilliant in building suspense.
Initially I was not interested in the idea of somr Ayush, but this chapter completely changed my perspective!
Right from the beggining of the chapter, Ayush had my full attention. Geet visits her estranged grandparents and falls in love with the rich and handsome, rock solid, tai chi performing Ayushmaan in a Mills and Boon-ish manner.
Every meeting with Ayush lights her aflame. He is passionate, aggressive and soon Geet marries him without listening to her parents. His declaration before marriage was chilling and he had staked his claim over her.
Meanwhile Maan is feeling upset and finds Ayush lucky of having her love even after being dead.
He thinks back of his first marriage to Pari, its materialistc nature and emptyness. With these few lines about Maan, you were equally able to shift back Maan in highlight and maje us feel sad for him. Especially him finding Atush lucky for having Geet's love. Lovely demarcation of characters.
You have given the elusive Mr. AyushMaan's description in such a manner that I cannot help but imagine him as GC, the early raw and angry Maan of Hoshiarpur days.
While even for Maan, I am imagining GC, the Maan of Ghsp after marriage, completely besotted and calm and caring.
The two conflicting facets!
Do not confuse me dear. Both are kinda equal in my eyes now. Ayush being the brewing storm in a raging ocean of passionate love while Maan being the tranquill riverbed where one can drown her miseries and envelop herself in his soothing love.
Later Geet discovers the entire thing as something really unimaginable.
Everyone in the village has died 5 years ago including Ayush and her grandparentss.
Was Ayush a figment of Geet's imaginarion??
Or was he a ghost, a restless soul in search of something??
Now presuming that Ayush did exist, it would be exciting to see these two clash for love!!
Brilliant storyline. Eagerly waiting for the next part!!
