The baby was lying in her lap and geet was trying to revive her back.. She somehow flushed out the water from her body but nothing was making sense..The sun was setting its wings and geet was flustered..The little girl she was having in her hands was almost dying and this time geet couldn't afford to let go of one more life..She felt connected to the baby.. The small wounds that she saw on her forehead and hands seems likes that she had an accident.. geet looked around for someone..But it was still deserted, the ghat she choose to come remains like this throughout the day..Rarely people came there.. geet held the baby girl close and got up.. She knew that she had to be quick..It was the matter of a life and her instincts were telling that the baby will be fine..

It was the last day that she was in Varanasi and had to return to Punjab but the situations were not favorable now.. She was running to get a vehicle when swarna came..She was coming to take geet back like every day since last seven days but today the things turned out to be different..

Geet saw swarna coming and she shouted at her seeing her and patting the baby too, checking her pulse continuously..

Geet : swarna , she is badly injured..Get something we have to get her to the hospital right now..Her pulse is getting weak.. swarna panicked seeing geet getting so hyper and she too checked the baby and even her

heart went for the little soul.. She immediately opened the door of her car, she had booked a car for their personal use and since they were staying a little far from the ghat , she used to drop geet there early in the morning and then after sometime she would come to get her back.. swarna was there for geet when she was alone and never interfered in her space..She knew that geet wanted time alone to understand her life and gravity of the situations..

Geet sat with the baby in her arms and swarna drove to the nearest hospital..Thanks to her information that she had of this place..swarna had been to Varanasi for her work and job and knew the place keenly..

Geet was looking at the baby intently and swarna's concentration was on them..She asked geet about the baby and geet was lost..

Sawrna : where did you find her geet..?

Geet was caressing the soft hands of the little girl..Her frock was soaked in blood and there were some marks on her hands that seems that she was beaten too..

Geet : how did she get these marks..Who is so cruel to treat a baby like this.. kitni jyada lagi hai ise..

Swarna : where did you find her geet..

She repeated her question and this time geet looked at swarna and told her how she saw the baby in the water and she found her..

Geet : if I would have been late then she would have dead swarna.. I think she had an accident..She seems from a good family..See this.. geet showed swarna the K that was studded with diamonds and was shining in her neck.. swarna saw geet , even she was disturbed seeing the baby.. The dried blood on the corner of her lips was proving that someone was very brutal who even beaten the baby and she was suspecting something..

Geet held the baby and went in to the hospital, swarna was parking the car but she had already called one of her friend who was a lawyer ,(geet's lawyer ) and had asked him about the same..She knew that with geet's concern and mental state of the moment they could have need a lawyer.. and even informed the

police authorities..

Geet admitted the baby.. and was filling the formalities when one of the nurse gave her the estimate of the medicines and the initial deposit.. it was a very reputed hospital but when it comes to the treatment they asked geet to inform the authorities(police) as she had told them the whereabouts of the baby..

Geet was already hyper and she was kind of losing her patience and shouted at the doctors...that instead of attending the patient they were more concerned about the money and police..

Geet : Doctor , I am going to deposit all the money in the reception now but doctor you just start her treatment.. Her pulse was weaken doctor..wo mar jayegi.. Why don't you..Save that girl doctor.. Please attend her.. geet was almost pleading when swarna held her from her shoulder and informed the doctors that even the PS has been informed..

Swarna : doctor I am depositing the initial deposit right now , start her treatment.. I didn't expected this kind of questioning from this hospital and staff.. I thought that patients' life is important for all of you.. Her strict and cold voice just forced the hospital staff to attend the baby..

Geet was calming down when she saw they (the doctors) were attending the baby..She was finally getting the proper medical treatment that she needed.. geet was feeling heavy from the moment she saw the baby and now she could feel her heart at peace when she found herself slumping on the chair and saying to swarna to leave..

Geet turned and asked swarna to leave..

Geet : you must be getting late swrna .. meri wajah se you are getting late..i will manage here..you leave for your meeting..

Swarna held geet's hands..And asked her to be quite..

Swarna : are you insane geet..Leaving you alone like this.. Shut up and have this.

she gave her the coffee that she had brought from the hospital canteen..She even informed in HP that geet will be come in two-three days, she was busy with her meetings and can't come alone..daarji asked swarnali to be with geet , swarna knew that situation here will take two-three days more and even if she wanted she can't take geet with her..She had seen the raw emotions and unshed tears that geet had for the unknown baby...and by any mean she can't hurt geet by taking her away from the place.

Geet hug swarnali , she was already feeling too heavy and when hug swarnali she sobbed like anything..The tears that she had in her eyes on seeing the baby were now flowing..Even though there was no connection between them. But the small moment that geet held her, took her with her arms and fought for her with the hospital staff connected that little soul with geet..

Geet : she is so small swarna.. I can't let anything happen to her..i don't want her to leave like my parents left me swarna... the broken words were telling geet's mental state at that time and swarna let her cry for letting her pain to wash away..

Sawrna : nothing will happen to her..see babaji has given her life in your form.. she got her angel..she got you and now don't cry.. what will she say if she will see your big fat tears..baby kahegi..geet aunty is a cry baby..

She wiped geet's tears and calmed her down..

Geet : I am sorry , you had to miss your business appointments because of me..

Swarna : I had already cancelled them.. I came here for you geet..not for business ..dada ( swarna's brother..in some parts of India brother is called as dada) will look at the business , you don't worry.. And now don't cry..warna I will tease you along with baby.. geet smiled listening to swarna..

Geet : hospital deposit.. swarna .. We have to complete the formalities ..

Swarna : I will complete them..You be here with the baby.. I will do rest of the formalities..And ha.. I think police officials will come in some time, give your statement.. And I have talked with your lawyer too Nikhil , if anything goes wrong in case..

She briefed geet everything and left for completing the formalities..
