Geet used the back door , n went out of the mansion n started walking on the road.. whoever saw her , gave her a mysterious look .. she ignored... she was just startled with what she shared with him ... is it right ?? she questioned herself .. what will he think ?? what if my bad luck affects him too ?? she walked fighting with her own inner turmoil ... her heart wanted to accept it as a reality , while her brain , said otherwise ...
Maan was standing in front of mirror, after placing her earring carefully in drawer , which he found stuck to his shirt ... , he smiled seeing her nails marks on his biscep and shoulder ... then caressed his lips " I like ur claim " he told himself .. smiling widely .. wearing a new dress., hiding her claim inside ...
Dadi knocked and came into his room
" maan bte " she called out ...
He snapped out of his dream land ..
" ji dadi ??"
" yeh sub kya ha bte ??sub aap ka wait kar rhay hain aur aap yahaan ??" [ whats this maan , everyone is waiting for u in party and u r here ?]
" ji dadi wo main .." [ yes dadi .. i ..] he was searching a good reason ...
" aur yeh aap ne dress kun change kar lia , aur aap k baal b geelay hain ??" [ and y u changed ur dress , and ur hair r also wet ?]
" haan ,wo.. " [ yes dadii ] .. he was struggling with words ..
Dadi was confused , since when he has started fumbling .. ??
" bte kia baat hai ,hmain btaaiye ??" aap itne confused kun lag rhay hain ??" [ what maan ?? tell me ? why r u so confused ?]
now he had to answer quickly before he get caught again ..
" ji wo actually naintara ki wajah se juice mere dress par gir gaya , that's y I changed ,so thought to take bath again " [ yess dadi ,naintara spilled juice on me and i had to change ..so thought to take bath too ]
he felt proud at his own lie .. which he told with such a fluency ..
That was the big enough satisfying statement , for dadi ...
" ok ... jaldi se aa jayen , sub wait kar rhay hain " [ ok come quickly ..everyone is waiting ]
" ji .. " [ ok ] he said nodding slightly ,, thanking his stars that he didn't get caught ...
Dadi moved a bit n stopped again ..
" yeh kia ha maan ??" [ whats this maan ] he spun quickly ..
" kya dadi ??" [ what ?] he didn't see anything , that made dadi wonder ..
" maan aap k room ka carpet kun bheega hua ha ??" [ y is this carpet wet ?]
Uhhh ! that was wet coz of water dripped from her saaree n his own dress , when she ran and he followed ... he was caught again .. what will he reply now ??'
" haan bataaiye bte??" [ yes maan tell me ?]
" dadi, aap tension na lain .. I will get it changed today ... I don't know how it happened .. "
" par bte ..." [ but maan ] before she could complete .. he cut her
" dadi guests wait kar rhay hon gain , who is attending them ??" [ dadi guests must be waiting , who is attending them ?]
" hmm ,no one ,, u r right we should attend them .. lets go if u r ready .."
" ji dadi .. I m ready ,lets go ... "
They both join the party again n rest of the party was ok .. just he felt himself in a different world .. she came for sometime but filled so many colors in his lifeless party...
" doctor ..."
while doctor knew what he want to say ...
" don't worry Mr Handa ,she has not been harassed ... she is alright ... its just a light fever coz she was all wet " ..
He sighted ... the thought if her , being harassed by someone almost killed him .
" but that nibbled lips and she fainted too doctor , I saw her fearful expressions"??
" well !! I already told u she was wet and coz of cold and fever she fainted , and ...
" what doctor??"
" about that marks u can ask her later ... I mean , only she could tell .. but try not to stress , coz this can create a bad impact in her mind .. may b someone really tried to ... "
Before doctor could finish , he rushed inside the room ... he wanted to ask her if someone really tried to hurt her ?? if so then he will literally make them beg their deaths ...
As he entered in the ward , he saw her cute angry face and she was telling nurse not to inject her ... and all his anger vanished in thin air ,seeing his princess ...
"see ma'am its necessary , ur fever will not reduce then "
" main ne kaha na naheen , aik baat samajh nai aati ??? " [ i told u i dont want this ... dont u understand ]
she touched her forehead herself " see I cant even feel any fever "
" but fever can increase if I don't give the injection "nurse said helplessly
" mera dimag kharab kar lia ha .. kaha na kuch nai ho ga .. tuje aur koi kaam nai ha ??😆" [ u r chewing my mind ..i told u nothing gonna happen to me .. dont u have something else to do ]
Nurse was confused what she is saying ... " matlab ??"[ means ?]
" matlab ja k yeh injection kisi aur patient ko de ,.. muje nai chaiye .." [ go and give this injection to someone else .. i dont need it ]
Nurse looked at her helplessly ... ..
She was arguing from last 5 minutes and wasn't letting her inject... coz she thought it wasn't needed ... for geet fever not a big deal .. she got high fever almost every night in jungle when she feared darkness all alone ... she was not the same geet who fear injection ... don't know how many thorns ,dug into her body .. she lost the count now ... and if she could bear that pain then small needle was nothing , ... the time made her so strong ...
he took her resistance as fear for for injection .. he thought she still fear it , like she used to , in childhood ...
" u r still same dora , still fear injection ??"
" Bj .." , ... all she could mutter was that seeing him again , she thought he will not recognize her and will let her go .. but what she did ??? she tried to remember ...
FLASHBACK...
Geet ran out of maan's room , n was running out of the mansion when her saaree got stuck with the door lock , it got ripped ... she felt a bit bad coz maan brought that saaree for her . but right now she was in some other world , licking her lips ,trying to relive the moment when his lips touched hers , the first kiss of her life was so passionate and special ... she was so happy for her hero , who claimed her kiss as his birthday gift ...
Geet was walking absent mindly unknown of the fact that , its the main road and she is in the middle ...
The car driver was continuously honking from back , she heard that but instead of getting on side , she started moving fast .. That was happening itself ..she was in some other land and didn't know what exactly she is doing ?? ...
It irked him , he came out of the car and thought to give her a piece of mind .. It was unusual to see a girl walking like this in A class area... Where people only came out from houses in their cars ...
As he followed , she heard fast footsteps behind her , for the time she came back to her senses ... And feard , who possibly was following her ...she started running fast ,without looking back ...
Other person was more confused ...first she wasnt giving him way to go ahead and now she is running fast ..that too all wet ...
He was near her when she tripped with her own saree and was about to fall when he held her and she was in his arms ...
For a minute he got drawn in her eyes ..he knew them ..he saw them ..these belonged to his dora... But then he chided himself for imagining his dora in any other girl ...
He noticed her changed of expressions ...first these were fear full n her eyes widened more , not out of fear ...but out of pain ..out of shock ..she didn't move neither she removed her gaze from him ... He got confused ...what made her comfortable in his arms ..
He was more confused on himself , why was he holding her ... he was supposed to be angry on her
He straightened her and stood there . scanning her once more ... she was fully wet , her hairs messed up , one earring missing , cheeks red ... her saaree ripped a bit , n not to forget her nibbled , swallon lips , with smudged lipstick ... that gave him a wrong impression , like someone forced her ...someone tried to harass her , that's why she was so fearful and was walking aimlessly on road ...
and her constant gaze on him , like reading his mind ...
she felt her body shivering and everything turning dark around , she don't know what she said or did after that ...
but what happened was , she was about to hit the road when a silent whisper left her mouth " BJ ... " , he who was in a deep thought snapped out as he heard his nick name , only his dora used to say ... He held her instantly ... And looked keenly at her face , she was no more conscious but all he did was to check her face , her eyes , her hairs , her small nose , ..everything like every single thing was same ... his very same dora ... she just grew up ...she was just a young girl now ,not a child anymore ,
"Dora ??? dora what happened ???:"
and then suddenly the thought that crossed his mind few minutes back of she being harassed ,haunted him ... he found her after whole 14 years , and now he cant see her facing any other hardship ... placing her in car ,he took her to the hospital and there she laid ... Now as the doctor told him nothing happened he was relieved and was sitting on her bed side , looking at her ,while she was trying to recall what happened ..
She came back to her senses with nurse said " excuse me " , and again made a pleading face , for injection ,n looked at Bj ..
"Dora , it will not hurt much , u need it .."
She felt strange , may b happy ,hurt or angry .. infact she didn't know how to react ,meeting him after so long ... but how could she refuse anything which bj ask her ..
She took the filled injection from nurse and injected right in her vein harshly , without any painful expression on her face ... and threw it back in tray ...
" ab ja " [ now go ] she rudely told the nurse to go ... don't know y she was doing so ...
