Geet was in her room sitting alone, still starring at her phone just waiting for one reply from the person whom she started loving from many years...
but her bad luck she didn't get any. she is not the one to get depressed from failures, she belive that failures make a person strong , they show us the mirror to reality, they show us where we lack , what mistakes we have done, so one should learn from failures not get depressed from it...
she had failed too but didn't get depressed now she is more strong and determined to get her love . The memories of her past are still fresh in her mind their first meet, her falling for him and then the failure too... how brutally he rejected her but now the scenario have changed , this time she will win back his love either by hook or crook!!!
Glancing at her poem which she wrote last night brought a smile on her face remembering her past, her first day in her new school...
PAST 7 YEARS AGO...
Geet and Nishi recently moved in delhi from HP for their further studies as they were now joining their high school
they entered in their new school, it was quite big, much bigger than their previous school in HP
Nishi- wow, its so big , i'm so excited to study here!
Geet-ya its big,but i don't want study here, can't we go back to our previous school ,it was so good there, here i'm not feeling good...
Nishi-oh ho, i know geet u r feeling nervous, u were saying this same line when we joined our previous but later u got comfortable there, so don't worry here too it will be same!
they reached till receptionist office...
Nishi- geet u wait outside , i'm going to ask the way to our class, okay!
Geet- no nishi, please don't go...but nishi cut her in between
Nishi- geet just wait here for few minutes, i'm just coming back!
she assured geet and went away...
now geet was all alone .she tried to distract her mind by glancing here and there,this school was quite well maintained with beautiful flowers and lot of greenery, the atmosphere was really nice...suddenly geet heard a loud sound of ringing bell, the sound was so loud that she had to close her ears and have to move from there( it was because the electric bell was fitted just above her head)
few seconds later there was lot of hustle-bustle around her, lot of children were coming out of their class and forming lines , the class monitors were controlling whole class while shouting and when line was formed perfectly they started moving...
geet was standing in middle of road (she reached there to avoid the ringing sound), many lines of children of different classes were passing from her both sides, geet tried to move from their but children were not allowing her to come in between their line and this chain was not ending too one class after another so without any option geet decided to stand there only...
after few minutes the continuous lines ended giving her relief but it was short lived as soon a teacher came there and asked her
Teacher- hey girl! what are u doing here?, don't u know its assembly time go to the ground..
the teacher was quite strict looking and she talked bit rudely too, now geet was scared a bit,she prayed to her babaji-babaji please send nishi...
but getting no reply from the girl , teacher was highly irritated and this time more rudely she said- i said move to assembly ground!
Geet(scared)-mam, wo...woh.i.. but teacher didn't have much paitence
Teacher-listen girl, i don't have full day for u and i'm also not going to believe on your stupid excuses of why u are not attending assembly, god knows what had happened to students these days that they don't want to attend assembly...
Geet-but mamm i...i'don't where the assembly ground is?
Teacher-really! u should come with better excuse girl, anyway if u don't know let me show u(she held geet's hand and dragged her along and brought her to the ground) here it is, now stop giving excuses and join ur class line...
Geet was totally confuse where to go and along with that the khadus teacher was eyeing her , what are u waiting for go, QUICKLY, she shouted, having no option geet thought its better to be in crowd than been here and facing her so she went in the crowd and stood behind one of the girls line...
Assembly started with prayer, then followed a pledge , thought of the day, news, and few announcements and finally national anthem and then it was announced to get dispressed and all the students started moving towards their classes,geet too moved along with them but where she was going she didn't have clue about it , slowy slowy all students disappeared in their respective classes living geet along...
Geet didn't know where to go, she was kind of lost on the first day of her school, she was lossing her control on her emotions now and slowy one tear slipped from her eye , followed by another, then 2 more, now there were continuous, she started crying silently she just wants to run away from school and go back home,she can't even go to nishi as she didn't remember the way back to receptionist office too
crying she reached a garden like place and sat under a tree, she was still crying when she saw a hand offering a hankercheif to her, with her teary eyes she looked up, her vision was blurred so didn't recognise the face but can make out that its a boy...
the boy was still offering her his hankie but geet denied it without saying anything she looked down...
Boy-excuse me! why are u crying? you can share ur problem with me, maybe i can help you... patiently he asked...
Geet was still crying but hearing a soft voice who was not shouting on her urged her to reply back...
Geet- wo...wo...i..ha...ve...i have..lo...st she started but due to her continuous crying nothing was coming out clearly from her mouth , she tried once more but result was same , now she thought he he too will shout on her... she looked at his face but surprisingly he didn't shout but just passed her a smile...
Boy-okay okay wait ,here take them ( he offered hankie and water bottle to her) first stop crying and wipe your face , then drink water and calm urself, i'm waiting here...
according to geet he was too sweet for her, she had never seen any boy talking to her so nicely, it's not that she had been around many boys but the boys she faced from her birth till now (that is her brothers)were only rude to her and nishi, they never treated them nicely always scold them for unneccessary reasons and in HP the school in which they studied was a girl's school so she haven't talked briefly with any boy till now...
so for her a boy behaving this calmly was surely gaining her attention, she did what he asked her to do, after seeing her calm, the boy again started to ask questions..
Boy- okay now i think u r feeling better
Geet-hmm, thank you!
Boy-so now will u please elaborate what are u doing here at this time, r u bunking ur class??
Geet- no, i don't bunk classes, actually i'm new to this school,its my first day here, i'm here along with my sister we both study in same class only, she went to ask to receptionist way to our class but i lost her...
Boy- lost her?????
seeing confused face of the boy , she explained the incident that took place with her..
Boy -that's it! u could have asked way to ur class from other students... geet didn't knew what to reply to this so she maintained her silence...
seeing her silent ,boy didn't ask further and thought to come straight to the main point...
Boy- anyways, in which class r u studying??
Geet- 9th B..
Boy-okay! come with me i will show u the way... geet didn't know what was the reason but she have started trusting him so without any further questions she went along with him...
after walking for about 2-3 minutes they reached geet's class...
Boy- here, this is ur class!
Geet(softly)-thank you
Boy-hmm
Geet entered in her class and boy turned to move from there when he bumped into pari, one of his classmate and she too was school captain(girl)
PAri- m i dreaming or its reality, THE MAAN SINGH KHURANA who usually stays away from girls , today helping a girl...
Maan- yes so what!, and if u r forgetting then let me remind you along with u i'm school captain too and its my duty to help needy students! he said it in his usual attitude and went away!
phew!! completed this part! , i was not planning to show maaneet past but most of my readers were waiting for their meeting , as according to story in present maaneet meeting is not possible now , so guys enjoy maaneet in past for time been... but i can assure u there is lots and lots of maaneet in future, just for story sake bear with this
