48. A Night like this -

Shika another wonderful piece of writing... 👏

This night brought so much of light in their lives, a place where somewhere both of them directly or indirectly lost someone years back... And now the tranquillity they have felt just with each others presence somehow comes in to soothe the aches and loneliness each of them had confined themselves in order to achieve some weird sort of self preservation.

The giant wheel ride was so in sync with their inner selves and the way their lives are taking a great and whooshing leap in such a short span of few days. For years both of them were at their lowest ... bound to the shackles they placed on them either due to guilt, pain or sacrifice...as they felt they are unworthy of love and care. But today the leap they take towards fighting for self as well as to give it a try to experience the happiness and love one deserves in life ... was shown so beautifully with the Ferris wheel. The Giant wheel always make you feel so great ... the adrenaline rush and the squeezy ... cushy feeling you get ... just spreads throughout. Maan was experiencing that. HE was on a high of being his earlier self "Andy" after ages. Whereas she was the Geet her mom always wanted her to be one who brings melody to others life... and she did bring it out for both Rey and Maan, by looking into each of their needs... be it imitating the role of a child with Rey to give him company or to be the Roothi hui friend to Maan or to say the reluctant date to his "Go out with me" 😆 She was fulfilling her roles successfully 😉

Pure haq se he was openly staring or to say gawking at her... and his loop sided smiles 😳 Marjawan. He got to see her so free and lively. With full authority he guides her to the ride knowing well she is scared of it but yet wants Rey to enjoy, so he instead of being the bystander watching, he comes into the picture to give her the needed courage and being there for her... when she again has taken one more step towards being the girl who deserves to live and laugh. He is giving Wings to her to go ahead and fly and also the confidence that he will be there to embrace her when ever she tends to falter. 😊 And indeed he was rewarded as he got to experience closely her laughter, mirth and also her twinkling joy. What a picture it must with him looking at her with that elbow on knee pose with his hand cupping his chin and that smile of his reflected when she is having the time of her life with Rey. ... and then When Rey the indirect cupid becomes dal badlu his Mamma comes and holds her in his warmth... 😳 Kodak moment.

She brought the Andy back unknowingly and he brought her to a place where always finds solace ... showing that she is important to him to share this piece of his life with her. According to him this is the place where he first time came to know about Pari (though it was Sameer's angel and not Andy's Pari... but for now that's the place where he feels was the start... and led him to finally go through pain) but then now he brings her here ... somewhere I feel his is slowly letting the pain ease... and allowing to take that place he left vacant by his own so called "Sacrifice".

And Now Geet madam with full authority commands him to not smoke in their presence, He would come to the place with some high sort of a substance either alcohol or cigarrete ... but now she is his addiction or to say his soothing charm... he doesn't need external comforting stuffs, her presence and warmth is enough.

Beautiful scene you've woven Shika ... the sky turning Violet, Two lost souls finding warmth in each others presence and the letting themselves getting entwined in their feelings through their entangling fingers with a grip so strong that I hope should never Weaken. ... And add to that a innocent adorable kid having the time of his life witnessing the fireworks in the sky and unknowingly being a silent witness to the light that has now not only illuminated the silent night sky but also the two merging souls who surround him.
