Baaghi 4 - Reviews And Box Office
Parijat is a flower, a flower to me symbolises love; peace and all things beautiful. Well then again it probably has the same meaning for everyone lol. It's presented to show care, love, joy and even grief.
Love is like a beautiful flower which you may not touch,
But whose fragrance touches you
Geet is that flower in Maan's life, she blooms life and love into his life yet she never realises it and bestows the life she only dreamed to have to her sister causing her love A LOT of grief. It's a silly misunderstanding but a grave mistake on her part, I agree with Maan she should have talked it out with him before concluding on her own and then revealing this half-baked truth to her sister, Shefali. Not that I blame Geet nor Maan, classic misunderstanding between lovers lol. That's why it's a must to share your feelings to your loved one, the human brain is a complicated thing. Sometimes you imagine things that aren't there to begin with, like Maan loving Shefali. Yes he may love her as a sister but nothing beyond that really. For Maan Geet was his Parijat, while for Geet Shefali is his Parijat (a mistake she realised later).
Maan's character had depth, a rare quality in men (maybe not haven't met that many in short lived life lol) but a characteristic very few characters (that I've read) have showed. It mustn't have been easy for him, and that shows since he fled the country, a sign I'm not too happy about but he needed to, in order to pool his thoughts together. But his persona has this touch, I can really put it in words whether it's his anger, his love, his care, his possessiveness. Each speak of the man he is, a man true to his words, true to himself and true to his love. He truly loved Geet for who she is and not who she could be
Real love is to let the one we love to be faultlessly themselves,
and not to coil them to fit the image we assume to be perfect.
Otherwise we love only the reflection of ourselves we find in them.
Geet is the opposite to him, really. But still I can't say I didn't like her or blame her for the folly. I'm a hard-core fan of Geet or any female character hence I tend to overlook her mistake (but highly dependent upon its severity of course, I'm no blind follower). Geet's an adopted child, I suppose she felt it was her duty towards her family to make sacrifices not just as member but as a lover as well. It's sad but true, her feelings are justified and so is her actions (my feelings).
Hmm I can't really say this story affected me emotionally, don't get me wrong it had its effects but it touched me more on a different level, the concept that love overpowers or succeeds is the message I'll like to take from this story. Love conquers no matter what the situation. Geet's adoption had no effects on Maan, and it shouldn't. Geet's parents truly love her and Maan's methodic thinking helped. Him forcing her to accept reality and then breaking her, so he can then mould her again to the Geet she once was, is actually the Maan I fell in love with. I loved how most of the revelations was made under the tree, be it in their childhood or now. The tree that holds such an important part in their life, it's almost metaphorical how this Parijat tree signifies their love, their companionship, their trust, their bond. Can a tree have such meanings? I don't know I'm not exactly a philosophical person, I don't look for meanings in each and everything I do but sometimes somethings just vacuum you into another world, another dimension where meanings of life and death are pivotal. And your story is that, I'm looking for signs and symbolism is everything that I read.
Their daughter is the absolute cutie-pie, an ideal mirage of Geet. I don't know why but I've got this inner feeling to protect this little angel, and Maan must feel the same. No wonder he loves his Parijat so much
Love is friendship that has caught fire.
It is quiet, understanding, mutual, confidence, sharing and forgiving.
It is loyalty through good and bad times.
It settles for less than perfection and makes allowances for human weaknesses.
That highlights Maan's love for his Parijat, his Geet and there I conclude, I'd like to thank you for an amazing story and a fictional Maan which overburdened my heart with a want for such a man (not going to happen in the next 10 years or so lol) and his kind Geet, who sacrificed her love for her loved ones.
I'm sorry it took me ages to read this, and I do remember reading the first 2 parts but I just needed to start again. Oh and the quotes are not mine, I'm not that poetic lol copied from BrainyQuotes.
What's a Parijat by the way? I wanted the English name so I can google it, I googled Parijat and images of a woman come up, I doubt she's it lol.
Thank you
