she concentrated on studies and then got married .
Yash kissed Geet ans she thought she would fall pregnant poor Yash
Geet was the one always going to Yash and hugging him and all that time Maan longed for Arpita too to have done as Geet was doing to Yash but Geet having no knowledge of intimacy or husband-wife relation but she have tried her best to cover the distance to Yash and in all this time she not realized that it was only she who was doing everything and not Yash .
but when Maan started showering her with love then she realized she never had that with Yash .
her reason after Yash death that she would live her life for him
was understandable as she felt she did not get a chance to be a good wife .
Maan now understanding Geet better and deeper and her turmoil

Geet was so innocent and immature that she never let Yash came close to her...thank God taiji ko pata nahin chala warna bhagwaan jaane woh kya karti...that is why Geet was confused about Yash's behavior...she suspected his behavior as she is burden on him... but it was actually Yash love for her that he supported her in her studies and keep himself on check...
