So Geet-Dev are finally divorced. And lucky that their divorce process went smooth and they got it within months given it was mutual. But divorce process is generally so depressing, exhausting, and hell lot stressful when it is otherwise. It drains you completely, emotionally and mentally. So Im glad that didn't happen with Geet. Though Im sure it still must have hurt like hell. Cos marriage of so many years with a kid involved is not at all easy to break. Letting go however your husband is a cheater or abuser is hard a decision to make. Only a strong woman can do that. And for that alone I admire Geet's character. She has not only let go of Dev but has also decided to not see Muskaan be second Geet Handa. She is strong both by head and heart, independent and a proud single mother now. She doesn't hate Dev is another thing which though sounds unreal given the experience she had with him but I would reserve my comment and let you explain me why she does not hate Dev? Im sure you would have a different perception and that will kinda make me understand Geet more.
So now I know why Muskaan was sent to hostel.
Dev-Geet are truly being Muskaan's parents. They might have divorced but still Geet didn't take any decision regarding Muskaan all by her own. She discussed it with Dev, got his consent giving him equal right over Muskaan's life. So I guess I can say that though they might have failed as husband and wife they wouldn't fail as Muskaan's parents. I hope Muskaan's childhood does not see a hard time right from the start. Though I see her being a only 5 year kid, she is going to ask for her daddy and Im already wondering how will Geet handle that situation. Im certainly looking forward to Geet's life with Muskaan now. How would she manage?
The coincidence, you got Geet-Dev and Maan-Sam divorce at the same day. Never thought MG will meet so soon. But they did and how.
Geet was definitely not expecting Maan there so her reaction was understandable. Plus I feel her emotions were all over the place. Just getting divorce and meeting a man with whom you had one night stand, and had literally shown your vulnerable side, does make you to built a wall around yourself so that the person does not see through you again.
Along with Geet's life with Muskaan I am also looking forward to how you will get MG to meet and start their story. There is a connection btw them, there is a spark, they do also feel that they both would have fallen for each other if they had met before. So yeah, Im definitely interested how things will go further btw them. And does Maan know Geet has a child? You did said they shared their hearts that night before the deed but I doubt if Geet told him about her baby. It seems only she knows the whole truth about Maan's married life given how she was defending him in front of Pari.
Anyway, I love the song you added. It went so perfectly with the situation. Also currently it is my favorite song so I loved it here. It suited both MG.
Geet self thoughts over her feelings for Maan kind of said that she is going to be holding herself back cos of her divorcee tag and Muskaan's future. It definitely isn't easy for Geet to move on with someone given she has a kid with her. Whatever decision she would be taking, her first priority will be Muskaan's future. As much as it is easy for Dev and Maan to move on, it isn't for Geet at all. And I know she wouldn't even want to think on those lines as of now. She should just relax, give herself time, explore herself, spend time with her baby. She should go with the flow for now and not make things complicated.
Pari is a tease. I like her character. Guess she already knows what is cooking btw Geet's head. Her defending Maan also gives Pari a chance to tease her more. It would be nice to see what role Pari plays here.
