Both Maaneet are heading for divorce

You know, in this story my thoughts are always all over the place. I always found myself in two thoughts and confused. Just dont know what is right or wrong, or who to support or whom to not. The story, the characters or say the situations they are in and their own personal thoughts are so complicated that Im left in conflict.

Anyways, so Geet still has it in herself to trust. But then had she not trusted Maan one bit, she wouldnt have slept with him even if for one night in the first place. There was some connection btw them that forced them to take that step. I dont know if Im right or wrong, but I felt that there was more than just sex that transpired btw them that night.

Coming to Pari, her being judgemental towards Maan was normal since she knows nothing about him. Whereas Geet being defensive was also right from her perception cos she understood his pain. Her being in pain and facing betrayal from Dev made her feel connected to Maan's betrayal that he got from Sam.

But yeah her bringing Yash was quite unfair. Cos I genuinely believe no marriage is perfect. Every couple has their own set of problems. But love, trust, honesty, loyalty, compromises, adjustment, understanding, compatibility and so on makes a marriage successful. Which maybe was there in Pari-Yash's marriage.

But in all this I really liked Geet's honesty. That she dint hide the fact that it was her who begged for sex not Maan. For Pari it might look like Geet was defending Maan but its the truth of that night.

Though Pari is also right at her place. After all what does Geet know of Maan that she couldnt even take a word against him? It is just empathy that Geet felt for him and his pain for his unborn baby who was killed?

Btw I dint asked this before but why Geet said to Maan that she never ever felt what Maan made her feel that night? It was something to do with sex but then I was so into shock about Geet being married to Dev that I forgot to ask about it then. I mean Dev really never ever made her feel that she said that special thank you to Maan? After all there must have been moments where Dev must have made her feel special in this 9 years of marriage?

You gave us some insight into Dev-Geet's relationship, from where it started, how they fell for each other, their rush to get married to how their world started falling apart. Her monologue also said just how mismatched and incompatible Geet and Dev were. But then it was her perspective. So I dont know if I should really go with whatever you wanted to convey from Pari's monologue or wait for Geet's views on her own relationships since I see Geet disagreeing with Pari? Or maybe better, I should wait for Dev and most importantly Meera's monologue to know exactly what went wrong. After all its cos of Dev that the marriage broke. Pari did say that Dev wasnt completely wrong and he did tried to save his marriage. But well for me I still say he dint tried hard enough. So I agree with Pari there, that Dev indeed is a coward. It would take me time to understand him and his reasons.

But if I really go with Pari's thoughts, then Im quite surprised that Geet and Dev marriage lasted for 9 long years. Cos I really wonder how they even managed to worked on it given that they were really young firstly. Secondly both were immature, no compatibility, serious fights. Last, the long distance relationship when Geet had to shift to help Pari with little Muskaan. How they managed the next 5 years of their marriage when this prolonged stay at Pari was the turning point in their relationship which changed everything for worse. God, dont tell me that Dev cheated on Geet for so long? I would really hate him like anything if he had an extra marital affair with Meera for some like 3-4 years.

But in all this what shocked me the most was Pari thinking that Geet thought she loved Dev. I mean, I always thought/believed that there are shades to love as well. So maybe Geet really had been in love with Dev? Or else 9 years is a LONG time to realize if you are genuinely in love or you thought you are in love. Geet doesnt seem to be person who still wouldnt realize her real feelings for a man. Moreover, I really dont believe in something called true love, you know like epics ones. I might be wrong, but I can be sure that in todays world true love truly doesnt exist. Every person must be having his/her own perception, defination of love and maybe for Geet love's meant something else than how Pari sees it, right?

Geet dint seem to connect the dot and know who exactly this Sameera Khurana is. But guess Pari is in for a shock when she comes to know that the person she wished to see was the same man she was being so judgemental about. I would seriously love to see her reaction on know that Maan Singh Khurana is the same Maan who Geet talks about.

Coming to Maan-Sam, they were there to file for a divorce to Brij? If yes, then this is definitely going to be interesting.

Where does Maan's family stay? Not in KM with him and Sam? Dadima and Annie both seemed to very fond of Sam. So now Im really worried about their reaction. Guess they are unaware of Sam's abortion. Wonder will Maan and Sam confide every details to Dadima about their relationship? After all Dadima would definitely ask for the reason or at least try to stop this divorce from happening, so maybe Maan and Sam would have to spill the beans and tell the old lady everything. Im certainly dreading her reaction now.

Geet-Brij reunion was heart warming. Both were emotional meeting each other after 2 years and that so could be felt. I really loved that scene.

However, I was really shocked at Brij's reaction when Geet said she was there for his legal advice for her divorce. I mean he dint even knew the actual reason of the divorce yet he went on cursing Dev. Calling him a coward like Pari though she knew all the details, his anger just at the thought of Dev hurting Geet and instantly blaming Dev without even knowing anything. His extreme reaction made me feel that he is also very much aware of Dev as a person like Pari. Though I guess Brij would have hardly met him given the siblings came close after Yash's dead. But then after Yash's dead only everything started falling apart in Geet's life. Moreover, Geet was staying at Pari then and Brij was helping her, so maybe this is the way he got to know about Dev? I seem to be answering my own questions and shock here. 😆

Anyways, it must be really tough for him to be his own sisters' lawyer for her divorce. Brij really looked shaken with this news that Geet had to advice him to discuss the issue like adults.

I still really dont get how could Pari say that Geet just thought she loved Dev. Cos somewhere I feel she really did. Else why would she be hurting so much? If there was no love, no feelings, Geet wouldnt have been so broken, shattered and hurting.

Likewise, Brij asking her that she feels for the man. I mean shouldnt the answer be obvious? Dev might be a cheating bas***d, but he is her first in everything. First love, now first husband and first father of her first child. Cos of course since the story is of MG, they would be one day be a couple and maybe even marry. Which will of course change many things in Geet's life. Though its a far fetched thought but still I couldnt help but say it.

Strange that even Brij felt Dev never deserved Geet from start when they werent close.

But I dint get what Brij meant by this line "guess you got my luck in love life" specially after listening to his love story.

His love story was downright painful and heart wrenching. I had despised Geet's mother when she dint treated Geet as her child just cos she was a girl that too being a woman herself. But now I hate her after knowing that she is the reason why Brij is alone today and couldnt have his love by his side. I seriously hate her for ruining his life for her selfish reason. None deserves such a heartless mother.

My heart really goes for Geet and now Brij after knowing that he still couldnt bring himself to move on despite knowing Tara has which was right. Their reasons were completely understandable and maybe the future Brij guessed of his n Tara's marriage might have become a reality. But I believe in either taking chance or at least moving on. 15 years is a long time now.

Moreover, living all life alone is so difficult. Brij someday would feel the emptiness cos as far as I see his parents really dont care about his life, loneliness and pain. So why sacrifice his happiness for such undeserving people? Did their mother really deserved Brij's sacrificing his love? After all today the one who is in pain is he himself with no partner by his side. He is missing so many new relations in his life cos of a heartless mother.

This update was really emotional from start to end. No character is happy or at peace. I wonder how Dev and Meera doing? Could they really be in peace and live a contended life after breaking their own friend, love, wife, mother of his child and best friend's heart respectively?

i loved the bonding between geet n pari ... they are more like sisters ...

n i'm not able to digest the fact that pari is a widow ... n somewhere i'm not able to accept that maan n geet had a one night stand while they are married ...

maan n sameera ... they are also in pain ... both have their own reasons ...

but i guess sameera is all alone .. maan is blaming himself for all the faults happened in their married life ... still sameera supports him as a friend ... it would be difficult for them to act as friends so sudden, isn't it ...

i loved the conversations between brij n geet ... may be they needed that... as geet was more attached to yash .. they came close after yash's demise ..

n the information about her brother's lost love because of her mother was something she wouldn't have expected ...
