A girl is dreaming about dancing with Hrithik Roshan who transforms into a man with thin rimmed glasses ...Dev. But sgmhe feels him beyond her leagues and brushes off his thoughts. She has a past that haunts her and has no one to fall back upon.
Late on the first day of work...ask me the horrors!!

She is independent and is proud to be acheiving her dreams. Her bus jouney...scores of girls face it but she had the inner strength to teach the leach a lesson.Good that she stomped his feet with her heels till they bled.
And the audacity of the man! She tore him and the aunty a verbal tirade... yea!! girl power!!

And the experiences of the morning made her slap Dev.. Bad day turned worse to worst!! (*facepalm*)

Thank God and you that it is Naintara!! Be happy Dev and Tara!!
(*I apologise Dev for all the rants in previous comment. Now be with your Tara forever*)

I love how you make Tara so real and likeable in the very first instance! Tara, dream all about Dev as you please!!

Chapter 4
Geet... The much awaited entry!!
Isko babaji ki jagah Maan se baat karne ki aadat hai!!
She already seems madly, deeply, crazily in love with Maan. Good, very good.
She is happy at his homecoming, her joy is making her crazy.
She cannot wait to talk to him and hear his adorables 'Hmm...'

She has read his diary and now knows of his affections for her (* and A YAY!! to you for having the two in love*)
She is 40%excited, 50% elated and 10% scared. What is the secret that the letter holds??

She shares a brotherly bond with Dev. And the scene that broke Maan's heart was a big misunderstanding which I feel is going to multiply with the 'Devji' and 'Geetji' formalities.

The homecoming of Munda through the eyes of his beloved is enthralling. Her emotions are beautifully describes and the song is perfect. You describe his aristocratic features in a way that anybody would fall in love with him.

Chapter 5

The elusive and enigmatic Maan Khurana makes an entry... finally!!
Meeting mei Munda is lost in her thoughts.. Dreaming about his shy enchantress, the inborn romantic Khurana dances off with her on the melodious, soulful Raatkali. The romatic genes of Raj Khurana are at forefront, I see!!
The dance, his actions, her reactions are all mesmerising!!

But alas! He is brought back to ground from his paradise by the stark realities. He does not have the time to bbe lost in luxories of dreams, he has to battle for the survival of his father's hardwork.
He makes a quick comeback by pointing out the mistakes and gets the attention of his employees. With that first impression, he is going to have the innate ability of having the staff quivering with a single glare!
And he has always been a hardworker and now is the best protegee of his dadi and dad!!

Geet is the music of his soul! She filks him with an energy; her mere presence lights up his life!!

Wonderful story. Characters are enchanting, with Maan being my usual favorite!!

Chapter 6

Naintara is worried about her job as she slapoed Dev. Her finances, rent, everything is dooming before her eyes.
Dev has a wicked sense of humour. He was so naughty describing an elephant slapping him. Tara forgot her worries and was instead offended.
What a unique nickname, like seriously, I-star?? He even suggested various theme songs. His mouth runs miles per minute.
Do Tara and Dev know each other from before?? She dreamt about him and he could remember seeing her in a different avataar!! And Naintara's backstory seems intriguing!! She seems estranged from her parents!

Chapter 7
The 18 year old Maan, so innocent and raw!! Awiee!!
Munda has a penchant for shayari!!
Geet ki khubsurati ne toh waise hi isse bawara kar diya hai.
He is eavsdropping on her conversation while admiring her secretly.
SRK se jealousy!! Dont worry, you wont go down without a strong fighht dear!!
The speed at which he is going, makes me wonder that even floor might seem like an enemy to him!

He saw RNBDJ for her!! Loves makes the mighty fall. Pyaar isse kis mod pe le aaya!

Now the destiny gave him a wonderful chance of walking her home in rains under the same umbrelka. He is a gentleman through and through!! I love the way you use the dignificance of colours. The angel in white and the admirer in black. His hesitence, her shyness! The beautiful weather!

He walks with her! Dev ke theme songs ne Maan ko bhi pakad liya!! Never heard the song but the lyrics are beautiful.

He small act of implicit trust lights up his heart. But kitna pessimist mat bann yaar!!

Warden interrupts them..His attitude and tone shocks her!
Ae lo!! Umbrella wapas karne ka bahana bhi chin gaya!! Koi nahi, window le itna bada signal mil gaya!!

Their eye lock in the rain was enchanting and Maan's joy fills me with happiness!!

Chapter 8 Sujal is my first crush!! How I have loved the guy!! So Maaneet ki silent movie ke beech North -South ki interesting khichdi pak rahi thi. Learn something Maanu. Adi-Pinki confessed and you are caught in misunderstandings galore!! Maan's farewell day was heartbreaking. His excitement to meet Geet( probably he wanted to confess), his lonely wait till dawn was so sad and finally he left the country thinking thatshe does not love him. 2 years later, he gets to know the reason of her inabilty to come at the farewell and was elated to reach India. But a lot of heartbreak could have been avoided if he had simply opened up. Adi - Pinky are supercute. Their intercaste relationship is filled with roadblocks. Adi is fearing to tell his family about her. Classic combination. Maybe he is waiting to stand on his own feet. Pinky is stubborn to be with Adi. But Sujal's concerns are not wrong! What is his backstory?? Do we have his story also ahead!! I love how richly you have interwoven characters!! Each with meticulously crafted tale of his own!

Chapter 9
The parallel stories are brilliant! On one side we have tgis modern, contemporary tale unfolding in a corporate background while on the other side we have young love blooming in a collefe setting with a slightly eighties feel.

Dev is a charmer. He is jovial, friendly and outgoing. The friendly banter between Sasha and him was really amazing. It is a respite to see a laid back Sasha after all the bitchiness from her.

And rule-i-pedia completely cracked me up.

The meeting at the Singhanias residence introduced us to Pari. And this time around her 'Mr. Dreamy' is Dev.

Tara is distressed; some of it comes from the fact that Dev is untouchable while majority is from her childhood reminiscences. Her father, her childhood is all lost... She is determined to leave the past in the past... interesting!!

She is cool and composed, does not like unnecessary attachments.
While Dev emanates warmth. Their story is going to be a rollarcoaster of emotions and internal connflicts.

Dev explained her his perspective on branding..And she though not fully satisfied, let it slide for the time being.

Chapter 10
This chapter was absolute poetry. The sea, the song coupled with Maan's emotions create an enchanting aura that suck you in the world of Maan and his beloved. She is indeed lucky that he carries her with him everywhere in his thoughts, in his dreams.
Kuch choti choti khwahishei hai uski,.

She is his world and happiness. He would be devoid of life without her.

I adored Aisha, she was a lovely character. Their work being done, she made Maan to open up, which was necessary. For he f
esters his emotions inside. His youth and his burdens leave a dull ache inn your heart.

I really wish that he follows Aisha's advice. And finally Maan relaxes enough to tease her and his naughtiness peaks out.
His dream of bringing Geet to the seaside was beautiful and someday he might fulfill it.

Chapter 11
Man, you are commendable!!
You managed to add a human touch to Darji, I mean Darji of Geet!!

Okay keeping the serial apart from my mind, it was such a poignant tale of love and loss of dear ones!!
Geet lost her parents at a very young age andall she has is her Darji. His love for his granddaughter brings tears and fill the heart with a glowing warmth. He lost his only son and DIL and has cherished their daughter!!
Him learning to tie those crooked pleats and burning his fingers while cooking for a young Geet is so heartfelt. Our parents do so much for us!! Geet is corrrect in her assertion that this very love separates us humans from animals.

Darji is a sweetheart. He has sold all his property piece-by-piece throughout the years to sustain himself and Geet.. At an age where he should have been enjoying the care of his children, he took up the mantle to raise his only remaining family and excelled at it!!

So Geet and Maan are kindred souls! She idemtifies with his pain!! And phitte mooh!! With the upbringing zGeet has had, confession ke chances from Geet are zilch, nada, nil!!
And Maan babu toh kab bol payenge, yeh toh babaji bhi nahi jaante!! Andd those misunderstandings!!
Jaane kya hoga Rama Re!!

Chapter 12
Gosh! These two are impossible!! To which freaking era do they belong to!! Speak up , damnit!: This was my first reaction when Maan was battling with ego and love in the classroom and singing Tanhayee to himself.

Then I calmed down and reread!
The beginning part was really touching , he waiting for her endlessly during the week.
She finaly comes back and I was desparately wishing for him to speak to her, inquire about her absence. But it has always been tough for Maan to open up.

He was waiting for a single sign from her whuch he never got. Sad!

Then he waits for her beneath her balcony and she, inspite of being aware of his presence does not want to encourage his affections. She is tied up in her responsibilities.

It is really sad to see these two battle out with their burdens in their young lives.

Next day, she applies for a leave and his heart is distressed when she gets scolded. He knows of her situation and empathises with her. His guilt makes him punish himself. Her care peeks out at the mention of his injury but he rejects it as he is overwhelmed with his feelings.

Ah... A silver lining!!! Maan will now provide her notes. Such a sweet gesture.

You know their tale reminds me of a line from JTHJ.
'Har ishq ka ek waqt hota hai. Shayad ye unka waqt nahi par iska yeh matlab nahi ki yeh ishq nahi!'

Their love story resonates with this theme.
