Geet didn't react ,, she was sitting with lower head nd tears wr flowing from her eyes which aching Maan's heart ,, this stress nd tension was not good for her .

Geet came in sense seeing Manu crying ,, he frightened seeing her like that ,, she wiped her eyes nd garnered herself ,, Maan brought Manu near her ,, she gestured manu to come in her arms but Maan stopped her .

Maan: Geet 1st get up from floor nd sit in ur bed ,, it's not good for u to sit like this ,, u wr shivering with cold at night ,, come nd sit in ur bed with manu ,, i'm going to bring his milk ,, come, give me hand .

He held her hand to give her support ,, Geet tried to snap him but Maan tightened d hold .. G e e t plzz .

She got up nd sat in her bed ,, manu was sobbing ,, Maan covered her with blanket nd brought manu to washroom , he woke up nd need to freshen up .

Maan: sshhh ,, don't cry baby ,, see ,, mommy is fine now ( he wiped his eyes nd pecked his cheek) ,, 1^st my baby freshen up nd then he'll take his milk ,, Ok.

He settled Manu near Geet in blanket nd went to prepared his milk ,, he made coffee for him nd Geet nd filled Manu's bottle with milk ,, came back in bed room nd handed manu his bottle.

Maan: here is my baby's milk ,, Geet ur coffee .

Geet didn't budged Maan shook his head helplessly nd requested her again ,, he understood that he had to face her rejection .

Maan: Geet ,, u have to be cure fast to look after Manu so plzz think for him not for me ,, have ur coffee .( he forwarded d mug nd she took that silently having no option )

Manu was throwing d blanket with his legs nd Geet was covering him back but he did again ,, Maan was sitting in sofa nd smiling at his cutie .

Manu: mommy ,, no blan ket ,, it's walm .

Geet covered him again nd started sipping her coffee ,, she was sitting silently nd avoiding Maan not giving him any look nd even didn't thank him for coffee ,, Manu stopped sucking his milk .

Manu: mommy why al u clying ? u have fevel ,, pain ?

Geet sniffed but didn't reply ,, what to say to a baby ? but something caught her eyes when Manu threw d blanket again feeling warmth ,, 2 blankets ..? matlab kal raat wo sach mei uski tabiyat jyada kharab thi aur Maan ko apna guest room ka blanket add kerna pada usse thand se bachane ke liye ,, reality hit her ,, she didn't remember d whole thing coz of meds effects , fever nd body pain ,, she only remembered that she was shivering with cold nd fever ,, she asked for meds nd Maan gave her ,, few talks with him nd then nothing ,, means she was not well nd he was with her to take care of her .

She was muddling with her mind nd argued .. but why he shared d bed nd came close to her like that .. God!! They wr sleeping gluing to each other ,, it's aweful ,,

She was sick nd was not in proper sense, but he was in sense nd aware , then why he came close to her ,, it's so disgusting sleeping like that ,, she felt a shiver in her body remembering their positions ,, she was lost in her thoughts nd didn't reply Manu .

Maan knew that she was disturbed ,, he too was feeling awkward remembering their closeness ,, he smacked his head inwardly for his carelessness nd cursed him ,, he wanted to make things normal between him nd Geet but here he destroyed everything in his carelessness ,, she was hurt again nd now he was again on square ,, even he scolded her nd threatened her ... Maan , u cn't do anything right ?

Manu: uncle Maan ,, milk finish ,, Mommy ,, talk to me ,, al u angly ? ( he made a puppy face)

Maan: no baby ,, she is not angry with u ,, she has fever ,, manu won't see ur gifts ? Today is Christmas baby ,,, Merry Christams my son . ( Maan pecked Manu's cheeks nd Manu returned him with a cute smile nd then to Geet)

Manu jumped down from bed at once ,, yeee ,, my santa gives me gift ,, he saw d gift on table nd grabbed that ,, brought that near Geet nd show her with joy ,, mommy ,, see my gift .

Geet sadly : yes baby ,, open it .

Manu: uncle , my gift .

Maan: yes baby ,, come nd opened it ,, let me see what ur santa gave u ?

Manu brought d big pack near Maan nd both opened that ,, manu saw d pic of car on d box nd shouted with joy .

Manu: yeee,, my big cal ,, mommy big cal ,, mommy it is like Alex's cal ,, see.

Geet gave a fake smile : yeah , ur big car like Alex ,, open d box baby .

Maan felt bad seeing Geet like that ,, she was not responding heartily to manu ,, not enjoying her child happiness .

Maan: Geet , share manu's happiness heartily ,, he is just a kid nd wants to share his happiness with u.

Geet didn't reply nd remained like that ,, manu opened d box nd took out d car ,, he jumped with joy after seeing his new big red car ,, showed Geet nd Maan again nd again ,, Maan showed him d remote nd told him to operate with remote ,, manu tried that nd shouting with joy ... booommm ,,,, boommm ,, go,,,go ,, he was moving behind his car nd started playing with that .

Maan smiled at his happiness nd took a breath of relief .. at least d lil kid was away from all pain nd got some happiness ,which soothe their hearts too .
