Part 40

The whole NYPD office was tensed up in New York, it was around 10.30 and everyone was serious and waiting for their Captain Roy, all the agents were tensed, "hey Man, got anything" Detective Ryan asked to his partner Detective Espo, "Ryan, did you get anything, no right, Man we both were investigating the case together, then how will I find something without you knowing it" Detective Espo jumped up, "sorry, but how could she" Before Detective Ryan could finish his words,

"Good Morning, or should I say another Bad morning" Captain Roy's voice filled the place, "Detectives found something" Captain Roy asked and Ryan and Espo stood up, "sir, the girl was last seen on King Size Bar around 10.00 pm with her friends and suddenly at around 10.45 she said to her friends she had some interview to be done and went away alone, and she had taken the deep south route, and after that there was no sign of her" Detective Ryan said, "and her mobile phone was active near the Albany local park," Espo continued

"Great, then same way and again an Indian girl, at first it was two in an years and now it's 3 in a month and we could do nothing about it, how is this possible, and this time, she is not an ordinary girl, she is the daughter of Indian ambassador and the whole Indian embassy is behind us, and she is also an reporter of New York times, and today Afternoon we need to submit the details, and we have nothing, it's our country's prestige issue" Captain Roy hovered up,

"Sir please, I will do everything to find her, you please calmed down" he promised and the Ambassador along with the other official went away, "Officer Daya, welcome to NYPD" Captain Roy welcomed, "pleasure is mine, I had heard about you and your teams, so glad I got an opportunity to meet you all," he said with a big smile, "Detective Ryan and Detective Espo will help you in this case" he said and they both stood up and went near him, "now the case is all yours" he said and went away,

"Come on, will show you the cabin" Espo said a bit irritated, "don't like new fella's ah" Daya asked seeing his attitude, "yes, how will it be if someone snaps your work in the mid way and give it to another" he scorned up, "Espo" Ryan calmed him, "yea, I would be hell anger and would have broken half the office, it will hit my ego" Daya said as they trio's entered the cabin, "but I had just been called to help you up, three is better than two, and after all, our ultimate goal is we need to protect the people and find the criminal," Daya said,

"I like this guy," Ryan said and Espo too smiled up, "yea, hey, not hurt feelings, I was just upset," Espo said, "it's ok, let's started the case, when did it all started," Daya asked, "Long back actually" Ryan said and opened the computer and opened an file from the computer, "it started in 2010, and continues up, and only Indian girls had disappeared, in 2010 only one girl and in 2011, three girls and 2012, five girls and 2013 three girls and in 2014 seven girls and in 2015, it's been 3 girls already" Ryan said,

Geet was walking down the stairs of the Khurana Mansion, and the function had start to get some delight now, Dadi maa had arranged for it and as Adi has no one in his life except Maan and Dadi maa, she took all the responsibilities and said his engagement and marriage will happen in Khurana's style in the Khurana mansion, Adi try to keep it low but Dadi maa was stubborn and so as Maan, Geet's dad was the happiest person now, he always scared how he is going to get his two mother less daughters marry to an good family, and now his worries all went away,

Pinky and Geet are in safe hand and all his relatives were hell shocked when they heard about Maan and Geet. They couldn't believe it, sure Geet's dad at first got scared to send his daughter to such an big place and wondered what if they demanded anything big, but after meeting Dadi maa, he was speechless, he never thought she would be this humble and free of nature, she strictly said she will do all the arrangements and he doesn't need to spend anything for both the girls, As she said Adi is also like Maan to her,

Geet looked around as she walked down the stairs and was searching for Maan, Maan too saw Geet searching someone and also knew that someone was him, "Searching for me" Maan asked from behind and Geet turned around to see Maan standing and grinning up, "No, who said that" Geet refused, "Geet, don't you feel shame to lie to your boss" Maan said and Geet looked at him shocked, "Boss" she asked, "yes, until you are calling me as "Maan sir", I will be your boss," Maan said with an grin, "and you have to obey my orders" Maan said with an grin,

"Look, if you are speaking like this, I will complain to Dadi maa" Geet said faking an anger, "Great, not yet married and she say will start complaining, Adi is completely right, Marriage will make your life hard then climbing mount Everest," Maan said and Geet made her cute pout, "not easy for me too" Geet said and walked away, "Geet" Maan went behind her and she went to an room and stood there with her cute upset look, "Geet" Maan called, "enough, if it's so hard to marry me, then don't" Geet said with her anger look,

Maan went and turned her around, making her to face him, "yes, it's hard but living without you is unimaginable, if with you it's hard, without you my life is nothing" Maan said with a sweet smile, "enough, I am not really anger and I know you were only teasing me," Geet said, "hmm, really, how did you find that" Maan asked and Geet smiled up, "because, I know my MSK so well, I understand each and every word of him and even his silence" Geet said and Maan smiled big, "Geet, love you" Maan said as he hugged her,

"Geet" Meera entered in suddenly and felt embarrassed as she saw Maan and Geet, and turned around, "Oh, Dadi maa was asking you to bring Pinky down, and Mr.Khurana to bring Adi sir" she said, "sorry" she said again and run away, "ok, you go bring Adi ji down, I will get pinky down" Geet said and Maan nodded an ok, and Geet turned around, "Geet, one thing" Maan said and Geet looked at him and suddenly Maan held her up and pressed his lips on her, an quick little kiss, and then left her, and walked away, "Maan" she thought blushing up watching him walk away,

"Maan" she jumped up and went and took the call, "hello" she said and there wasn't any reply, "Hello, hello, what happened, why are you not speaking anything" Geet asked and she thought for a second and saw the display and there was no number in it, "whose call is this, no number in display, Hello" Geet said and the call was cut, "weird, may be from the mobile company to check something" she thought, and she went and changed herself and came and sat on the bed and again her mobile rang up

Geet took the call, "Hello" she said but there was no response, "Baba ji, Hello, hello, if you want to talk, talk or else don't call" Geet yelled up and cut the call and after two minutes her mobile rang up again and she took it and again there was no reaction from the other end, "Baba ji," Geet got tensed and anger up, and again her mobile rang up, and Geet lost her control "Hello, what the hell do you want, don't you dare irritate me, if you call one more time, then" Geet yelled up,

"Geet" Maan's voice shocked her and she saw the display then, Maan got tensed hearing her words, "what happened, Geet, is everything ok, should I come there," Maan asked, "No, No" Geet trembled up, "oh, crank calls, it's ok, it happens" Geet said, "Geet, if you need I can trace it, and" Maan started, "No, leave it, it's just a call," Geet said, "but" Maan started, "Oh, Mr. Khurana, don't be over protective" Geet teased him, "why shouldn't I, Mrs. Khurana" Maan said and Geet blushed like hell, "how dare is someone to make my wife upset" Maan said,

"Ok then will see you tomorrow, now sleep well, I am feelings sleepy, actually I am so tired and tomorrow I need to arrange for the event too" Geet said, "ok Geet, you sleep well, and if any crank calls come up again, tell them that they are speaking to Maan Singh Khurana's wife and if they want their life, then they better stay away, ok" Maan said, "As you order Boss" Geet said and they both said an good night and slept off,

It was around 1.00 when Geet's mobile rang up, "Baba ji, who is calling at this time," Geet thought and took the call, "Hello," she said in her sleep, "Hello" she said again in her sleepy voice, "Geet" she heard an deep dark voice shaking her up from her sleep and she sat up, "ya, yes," Geet said trembling up, "I am coming Geet, I am coming for you" the voice said creating an dark fear in Geet's heart, and the call cut off and Geet saw the display and it was numberless,

"Baba ji, I will call Maan now" Geet thought, but stopped, "but for just an crank call, I can't call Maan, he will get tensed, but he knows my name," Geet thought, "May be some guys from the college," Geet thought, "ok if the call comes again will call Maan" Geet thought and laid back, but her heart was so nervous and not allowing her to sleep, she was shivering high, Geet then took Maan's photo from the draw and held it close to her heart and then slept off,

"And all these girls knew our victim, but he is not connected with their personal life, but someone they like, like a film star or TV personality, or an singer, someone like that" Daya said shocking Espo totally, "and how could you say that" Espo asked, "that's because, all the girl who vanishes had said to their family or friends that they are going to meet an special person, like lastly Lisa said to her friend, she is gonna be famous after the interview tonight, and why would a report turn famous in one night, when she gives an exclusive interview about some great personality, right,"

"And in case of other girls too, they were so happy when they are last seen and excited to see an person but never mentioned who, that is before 5 or 6 hours before they go missing" Daya said, "And all these girl had attended some party in the public place or been at pubs or bar on the D-Day, so he might be an singer, or an dancer, or an actor, or an doctor as in Ramya's case, who was last seen in a medical seminar, someone who is famous, you attracts girls somehow, someone who had an connection with India or he himself an Indian" Daya said as he stood up,

"Had to accept, your thinking is super fast, you have narrowed the list so quickly" Raya said, "Thank you, but now we had to take the list of the events the girls attend on the particular day of their disappearing, and the list down the important guys from those events" Daya said, "Yes chief" Espo said who was too much impressed by the investigation, "lets trap him down soon" Daya said,
