Part 29

It was afternoon already, Maan was so excited and was waiting for Adi, who had gone to met Geet to explain their travel program, even before her yes, as Maan was somehow confident that Geet will say an yes for him, Maan steadied up when he heard the knock on the door, Adi's face was worried and a bit scared too when he came in, "Adi, did you tell her" Maan asked and Adi was silent, "What happened" Maan asked and Adi paused for a second,

"Maan, Geet is not coming for the trip, she refused" Adi said putting Maan into a total shock, "what, refused, why" Maan asked and Adi didn't say anything. "She didn't say any reason," Adi finally said, "what?" Maan jumped up, "And you never asked" Maan asked, "No, you said not to compel her" Adi said, "that's because I thought she is going to say an yes," Maan shouted and Adi looked at him surprised, and he got more worried, it's not his order but his high confident that's been broken and his ego is been hurt, no good, he thought.

"Maan, no big deal, what will she do even if she come there" Adi said and Maan was so restless, Why did she refuse was all he could think, "Ok, you go, I will ask for myself" Maan said and Adi looked scared, "Maan, actually" Adi started, "I said I will talk to her" Maan yelled in his own royal tone making the world obey, Adi walked out, and Maan closed his eyes and try to calm down, and called Geet, Maan was breathing equally to keep himself calm, "Hello" Geet's voice made him more restless,

"Good Morning, sir" Geet said slowly not waiting for his hello, "why did you say that you can't come with me" Maan asked, and Geet turned silent, "Geet, I am asking something" Maan asked controlling his temper, "is there any problem," Maan asked, "No sir" Geet said, "then," Maan asked, "Geet, if there anything just tell me, will sort out, it's just two day and one night trip, and" Maan started explaining her, "I know sir, Adi sir said everything" Geet said cutting off, "then" Maan asked,

Geet took a deep breath and she knew she is going to hurt him and it hurt her more, "Sorry sir, I can't come with you" Geet refused, "Why, Ms.Geet, may I know the reason" Maan asked between his teeth, "Oh, oh, I , I, I, can't travel alone with you," Geet said putting Maan to shock, "What does that Mean" Maan yelled up, "do you think I will take advantage on you" Maan asked with the anger boiling in his blood, he can't even think that Geet is imagine him as such an low minded guy.

Geet was silent as she was shocked by his words, But Maan took her silence for an yes, after all her face was not shown in the mobile screen, "listen to me Ms.Geet, if I had decided to do something, I don't need an reason or an lonely place, I can do anything anywhere, there is not an soul in this world who could stop me, do I look that cheap to you" Maan asked pained and anger, and there was no sound from the other end,

Geet was already crying high in pain that she had hurt Maan, she wanted to scream that she didn't mean that, but she was so much in tears and pain to say anything, "Answer me," Maan asked between his teeth, "Answer me Geet" Maan roared up high that his voice hit outside his cabin, making everyone to stand up in fear in the office, and Adi and Pinky who were talking just stopped and Pinky was almost fainted when she heard Geet's name, the next minute everyone heard an bang from his cabin and before anyone could react,

They saw Maan rushing out of his cabin walking like a hot storm and vanished up inside the lift, the office had an deadly silence for a few second, "what happened, Adi sir, Geet, why did Maan sir yelled her name" she asked panicked and Adi explained everything. "What, Geet refused his order," Pinky thought, "it's all because of me, my god, Geet, what will I do now" Pinky thought and took her mobile and called Geet, the ring went on and on, "pick up Geet, pick it up" Pinky prayed,

Geet was on the floor on her knees crying up, "I am sorry sir, I didn't mean that, I trust you, but I don't trust me, Pinky is right, I am not suppose to fall for you, but what will I do, I had already fallen for you, I love you, yes, I love you, but I can't say it to you, I know you are showing me the kindness and friendliness as you too like me, but I can't expect anything more from you, you will never take an girl like me into your life, who is nowhere near your world, so it's better to take your anger instead of pain,

"What if you come to know my feelings, and think you are responsible for it, it will make you more upset, no Sir, I can't do that for you, I can't blame you for my mistake, I will stay away" Geet said but her heart was already in unbearable pain with the thought she has to stay away from Maan, she had hurt him now,

"Geet" Pinky screamed as she entered the Geet's room around 2.30 in the afternoon, "Geet" she rushed towards her and sat near Geet, who was on the floor, unconscious, "Geet, Geet" she held her face and tapped her cheeks, "Baba ji," she cried and searched for her phone and called Adi for help, "Geet, what happened to you" Pinky asked as she caressed Geet's face, "I am sorry Maan sir, I am sorry" she murmured and Pinky got shocked, "I trust you, I didn't mean to hurt you, I am sorry" she murmured more, and Pinky hugged her and cried up,

"That's because of the medication Ms.Geet, you are fine now, except for the fact you are weak, won't you eat properly," An doctor asked as he stepped before her and Geet gave him an small grin, "what happened to me" Geet asked slowly, "nothing just you had got a bit hyper and so you fainted up" the doctor said and Geet nodded up, "Doctor" an nurse called him from behind, "excuse me" the doctor said as he went away, and Pinky came up and held Geet's face,

"What have you done to yourself Geet" Pinky asked as her tears rolled down, "I know the reason why you got this condition, I am sorry Geet" she said as she held Geet's Hand, "Pinky, why are you saying sorry" Geet asked slowly, "No Geet, it's my fault, because of me only, you refused Maan sir's order and hurt his ego and hurt yourself too, it's all because of me, if something had happened to you na, then I," Pinky stopped as her tears blocked her words,

"Pinky, please, I understand you" Geet said as she wiped Pinky's tears, "And I didn't, I didn't understand you, how important had Maan sir turned to you," Pinky said and wiped her tears up, "Go, now go with Maan sir, don't stop yourself, forget everything I said" Pinky said as she held Geet's face, "You love him, then no problem, love him, and fight for him, I will be with you" Pinky said and Geet looked at her shocked, "Pinky" Geet said shocked still, "yes Geet, whatever the difference be it, I can see now how much he means to you and even for hurting him a little had hurt you so much,"

"I can see its way beyond anyone's control now, if Baba ji wants this, then why not, even if he is Maan Singh Khurana, if you love him, he is just your love and nothing else" Pinky said with a sudden confident, "Pinky, what happened to you, all at a sudden" Geet asked, "no Geet, I can't see you in any more pain, if you want to be with him and if it gives happiness to you, than ok, that's all I need, I can't see you hurt and in pain anymore, lets fight, be yourself, if you need him, then fight for him,"

"Pinky," Geet smiled up, "is that really you," Geet asked looked at her sweet sister, and Geet can feel the fear of seeing Geet hurt had turned Pinky like this, "Pinky are you serious" Geet asked as she felt a bit alright, "yes, Baba ji promise, do whatever you want, I am with you, and now, first go to Maan sir and ask sorry, because he is hell anger and go with him to Chandigarh" Pinky said and Geet smiled big and hugged Pinky up, "you are stupid" Geet said laughing up, "so are you" Pinky said, and in a few seconds the doctor came and said that Geet can go home,

"I know Pari, my mistake" Geet said as she stood up, "by the way, what are you doing here" Pari asked, "oh, came to see Maan sir and go on an trip with him," Geet said and Pari looked at her shocked, "What, just now, Maan took the flight and you said were coming?" Pari asked, "No, actually, he don't know, my bad luck," Geet said and Pari held her hand, "Geet, what's happening" Pari asked, "Oh, nothing Morning when Maan sir asked me to join him, I refused, as I thought my family would refuse going alone with him, never been out like this,"

"Why do you guys give me that look, I am an doctor, ok, I am still practicing but I completed my studies and soon I will be an full pledged doctor" Pari said, and Geet smiled, "Well you believe in these stuff" Pari asked pointing to her books, "yes, to an extend" Geet said, "really you know" Pari started to say about Maan's special session and his past, but controlled herself, as she didn't want to say anything without his permission, Geet then took an form there and smiled big,

"What," Pari asked seeing her smile up, "You know this, that, your birthday and Maan sir's mom's birthday are same Jan 23rd," Geet said, "Seriously, please don't say this to Maan yar, he is already comparing my behavior to his mothers, I don't want to be the mother of that anger young Man," Pari said and Geet started to laugh, "you know, maybe that's why he likes you and you cares for him," Geet said with a smile, "Geet, stop it yar," Pari said, "By the way you too like Maan right," Pari asked and Geet turned silent, "Come on, it's just between us girls, tell me, yes, Na"

It was around 2.30 when Geet came to Chandigarh and with the little help of Adi, who called the clients in Chandigarh to inform Maan's Event Manager is coming to join him and also arranged her stay in the same guest house, Geet was picked from the Airport by the client's staff and dropped her in the guest house, "Madam, That's Mr.Khurana's room and the room next to his will be yours," The caretaker of the guest house said and Geet nodded and went towards the room given to her and sat there,

"Baba ji, what am I doing, I travelled here on flight for the first time, that too alone, to Chandigarh and now I am in this house and I don't even know how Maan sir will react when he sees me here, either I lost my sense or being too stupid and people around me too are crazy, first Pinky and then Pari, and now I am here, Baba ji, please save me, and help me," Geet thought as her heart was beating too fast thinking of what will happen next as she couldn't believe what had happened till now was real,

Pinky's speech, Geet standing before the Mansion, speaking with Pari, going to her home, planning with Adi in the morning, his acceptance to help, booking the tickets, flying all alone, and now here, she felt like her head spinning up and lay back on the bed there,
