Awesome update. Geet went to London for further studies.

Part 19:

After 9 months

Maan and Geet's relationship had become deeper over the period of 9 months. It was like they both had become dependent on eachother.

One day Geet was sitting in her room and looking at her books. Her heart was restless. Even though her thesis was done, only last minute changes were needed and she was supposed to submit it tonight. She knew that it wasn't the tension of thesis. It was something else, her heart was restless for that one voice which she didn't hear from the past 24 hours.

Geet (selfthought): Geet, yar he might be busy, that is why he may not have called you. You already know that he was working on an important project. He was also saying that he might have to go abroad for 1 month for that project... yeh acha hai mai wapis jao aur he will be going abroad... kia karo mai...

After sometime she completed the needful and submitted the thesis online.

She changed into her night suit to get comfortable, though it was only 8 pm but she wanted to sleep early today.

She warmed some milk as it was getting cold now...

Geet (selfthought): This English Weather, itni thand kyun hoti hai idhar

She went back to her room and opened her laptop to watch something while drinking milk.

This is when her cell rang with some unknown number.

Geet: Hi

Geet: Yeah speaking

Geet eyes widened

Geet: Okay I am coming. Please take care of him. I will reach there as soon as possible

Geet grabbed her jacket, took her hand bag, shoved her phone in it, wore her shoes and just locked her room and ran out to the tube station.

Geet reached the desire place, entered and went to the reception

Geet: Maan Singh Khurana

Receptionist: Room no.3009

Geet: Thanks

Geet went to the elevator and reached the desired room

The room was open and Sasha was already there talking to a person

Geet (Selfthought): Yeh yaha kia kar rahi hai... and then she saw adi with his head down and Maan talking loudly in front of him.

Maan: Why did you do this Adi? I am asking you? You realise the time?

Geet just entered and her cell phone fell down and two pair of eyes diverted their attention towards the intruder. Maan's hands lifted off his hips right that instant and he turned

Maan: Umm.. Geet...

Maan Geet, are you okay?

Geet:hmm

And Maan looked at Adi and Sasha telling them indirectly to leave the room

Physically Maan felt alright but after seeing Geet after a long time in real he felt like he got water in a desert.

Maan then went ahead and closed the door.

Geet's mouth just couldn't utter anything after seeing him. She felt so nervous.But aftera long pause she uttered.

Geet: Wo I.. umm.. Are you okay?

Geet's situation was no less. Geet's heart just shredded in thousand pieces after listening to Adi that Maan was here and had met up with a small accident and got hurt on his forehead and a few scratches on his hands and arms. And Geet just ran without having a second thought to look at him. She just wanted to have one glance at him after calling him several time on that day and him not receiving it had already had made her restless and now when Adi saw the missed calls, he informed her of his wellbeing but her heart was not in peace so she ran to the desired station.

Maan saw her, her face looked really tired, with eye bags under her eyes, her curly mass of hair out of place, wearing only a hoodie on top of her sleeping suit she was looking really cute, her eyes was portraying what she had gone through in a few hours. The restlessness in them waiting for that one word which would satisfy her.

Maan without further wanting her to be restless uttered

Maan: I am perfectly alright

Geet took a sigh of relief and went to sit down at the couch present in the room

Maan bought water for her and urged her to drink

Geet drank the whole glass in one go

Maan smiled at her.

Finally when she was back to her senses.

Geet: You know that I got so worried after listening to Adi, For God's sake Maan please pick up the phone when I call. You nearly killed me today.. and that Sasha why is she here. I told you to stay away from her.. but no... why should you listen to me...haa.

Maan was lost in her that he couldn't comprehend what was she saying.

Finally when he heard the name of Sasha he came back and remembered the fiasco she created when she saw them together in office before she came here to London...and later the picture on facebook. Jealousy does wonders on women he thought

Maan: uff fo, my London express, shant ho jao... Let me answer all your questions but first sit down.

Geet took a sigh a of relief, and went to sit down on the couch in one corner

Maan: First things first, I wanted to give you a surprise but looks like it got ruined... I just came in the morning for an important meeting to attend and when I was returning accident happened. And your constant call on my phone forced Adi to inform you, though I will tell him later... It's not safe for you to come at this time. Have you looked at the time.

Maan uttered quite seriously

Geet looked the phone in her hand

Geet: It's 10 pm.

Maan gave her a hard look

Geet: Okay. I know... But I didn't see the time when Adi called...This reminds me why was Sasha here.

Maan knew she was trying to divert the topic

Maan: So you are getting jealous

Geet: Why would I get jealous...

Geet avoided eye contact with him while saying that and stood up

Geet went near a table where water was kept and filled the glass with some more water...

Maan knew she was getting nervous.

Maan: Okay since it's late now you are not going back to your room. I will ask for another room from the reception hmm..

Geet: No, Maan I will go back, app aiasay hi takleef karegay...

But by looking in Maan's eyes she knew that he would not listen to her

Maan went ahead and called the reception, only to get the news that rooms were not available at the moment.

Geet also heard him convincing them for any other way but denial is what they got.

Geet went near him and stood in front of him

Geet: Maan I am saying I will go back, there is no need

Right then Mohinder called her to ask her well being and she told him about the current situation that Maan had got into and accident and she was informed.

Mohinder talked to him and asked him not to let her go at this point in time due to her safety and Geet smacked her hand on her forehead

Geet: Isi ki kami rah gayi thi...

Maan on the other hand smirked telling her that he was right.

Maan bid bye to her father.

Maan: Geet, you can sleep on the bed and I will sleep on the couch, if you are a bit nervous.. Though I am in a shock that the western culture had no effect on you..

Geet: ha ha baray aye... jayye ja ke couch pay soyee...

Geet smiled to herself and the laid down...

Maan: Kaisi hone wali biwi ho tum, pucha bhi nahi kay do you need anything? Is it paining.

Geet: Ji Maan do you need anything, meray baby ko zaida dard to nahi ho raha..

Maan: Geet baby.. hmm sahi ja rahi ho...

Maan laughed at that moved towards the couch

After some time of their constant staring and teasing both closed their eyes.

However, sleep was far away from Geet's eyes

Geet POV:

Gzdeki yamsn benim

Geet: Maan you don't know what this separation has changed in me... This long distance has made me and my thoughts stronger about love. During this time I have learned more about your love. Your care, love, support has made me what I am today and I know if this goes on then I will be one day what I dreamed or what you have dreamed about me... I know my dreams have taken a significant part in your heart...You don't know how much I have missed you... Every day, there was not a single moment when I haven't thought about you and now seeing in front... I cannot believe that you are there in real...You were right at the moment when you said that you could not survive if I confess. But Maan I know how it is to survive like this... Being away from you has made me realise those feeling more that I wanted to confess at that moment... Loving someone without some any expectation. Such is your love...

Geet got up from the bed and moved closer to the couch silently

She sat cross legged on the wooden floor still staring at the face that she couldn't live without.

She smiled at her own thoughts and caressed his hair to the side which were falling on his forehead. She stood up a bit and lightly kissed his forehead and sat down with her head on the little space left beside him while her hand lighly clutching his.

Geet(Selfthought): Maan I don't want to wait anymore now, I want to be yours in all ways... Sahi kehte hai, Godd has made couples in heaven and there is always someone for some one... tum sach ma mere WO ho... I love you Maan, I love you and now dare you stop me this time.

She smiled and this smile lingered there. It was as if she had achieved something for forever.

And finally she slept.

After when she went in deep sleep Maan opened his eyes and looked at her. The serene silence that lingered in the room with his love right beside him is what he had been dreaming for long. Her small actions were making him crave more.

He very carefully sat up and scooped her in his arms. Geet unconsciously made herself comfortable in his arms. He put her down on the bed as if she was the most precious jewel he had and put over the blanket. Geet turned on her back and Maan returned on his couch. He slept while watching Geet's serene face.
