Prologue

No one is ever created to be perfect we all have some kind of flaw that makes us unique and make us who we are ...

Many times we curse our flaws and look at them with shame .

But , sometimes for d most blessed of us , God use these flaws to soften our spirit and turn us

into a kinder more beautiful and compassionate

Maan was cussing nd cursing him ashamed on his act , he was shocked after Geet's silent acceptance ,, her tears said everything ,, he was confused why she didn't blame him in front of Mom nd Dad when he was accusing her nd adamant to send her out from KM ,, why she kept quiet nd bore his heinous act.

Maan: why did u hide this Geet ? Why ?

Geet gave an angry glare to him ,, how easily he was saying that why I hide all this? Still he was blaming her .

Geet sniffed nd spoke in anger: kya karati ,, kisse kahati ,, aur kaun yakeen kerta mujh per ,, tumhe jab kuch yaad hi nahi tha ,, aur tum mujhe KM se bahar phekne ki dhamki de rahe thy ,, to kya tum aur tumhari pyaari DM mera yakeen kerty ,, mujhe gale se laga lete ,, huuhhh,, jahan tum mujhe apni GF aur friends se maafi mangne ke liye force ker rahe ho ,, apne mom n dad ko threat de rahe ho ,, tumhari DM mujhe ghar todne ke liye blame ker rahi ho ,,, wahan mai agar Maan Singh Khurana per Ilzaam lagati to kaun yakeen kerta ? Tum , tumhari DM ...? Eska jawab apne aap se pucho mr Khurana .

Waise jawab bhi tum janty ho esliye ye drama band karo ,, khurana family se ab mai bahot dur hu ,, apna har karz maine chukka diya ,, uncle/ aunty ne mujhe jo pyaar diya uski mei karzdaar hu aur unki khushi ke liye kuch bhi bardast ker lungi kunki un dono ne mere liye apno ki narazgi sahi hei .

Maan was numb at his place listning her accusations ,, every word was right nd proving him wrong ,, showing that how helpless , alone nd broken she was ? There was not a single person who cd share her pain ,, who cd listen her complain , trust nd support her , he looked ashamed nd painfully at her ,, he tried to open his mouth to speak but words stuck in his throat ,, both forgot about Manu who was alone in living room nd watching TV ,, when he didn't find Geet nd Maan there in dinning area he started searching them nd started calling mommy ,,,, mommy ,,, whele al u ?

Geet composed herself nd wiped her face with her dupatta ,, Maan too came in reality nd something struck his mind instantly ,, he felt many ripples in his body nd turned his face to Manu ... God !!!! M a n u ... Armaan Singh ,, carrying his name Maan ... OMG!! ... he got up in a go nd rushed to Manu who was standing there at d door nd looking at Geet with a hang face.

Manu: mommy .

Maan knelt near him nd gave a painful teary look ,, took him in his arms in a tight hug ,, kissed him madly ,, manu ,, my baby ,, manu was confused nd looked at him .

Manu: uncle Maan why al u clying ? mommy scold u ?

Geet looked painfully at her innocent child nd then to Maan ,, Maan composed himself nd replied with a fake smile.

Maan: no baby ,, ur mommy don't scold me ,, i'm crying over my mistakes .

Manu: mis takes ..? ?

Maan: yes baby ,, i'm bad .

Manu: no ,, u al good ,, say solly to mommy .

Geet : Manu baby come here ,, we have to go home now .

Maan: no ,,, plzz Geet .

Geet: mr Khurana , bas ,, manu ke samne nahi .( she tried to take manu but Maan held him more tightly nd looked at her painfully)

Maan: Geet ... kya manu ...

Manu: uncle Maan ,, I wanna sleep ,, mommy .

Maan: i'll make u sleep baby ,, come .

He stood up nd placed manu's head on his shoulder nd started patting manu's back lovingly ,, Geet huffed helplessly in frustration nd gave an angry glare to Maan.

Maan: Geet plzz.

She was helpless nd cn't say anything infront of Manu ,, there Maan was nowhere to leave this chance to get all d truth ,, his all doubt wr clear nd only Geet's acceptance was needed ,, his whole body was shivering with this thought that Manu is related to him ,, he was his child ,, his own blood ,, few min passed in deep silence ,, Maan settled sleeping Manu in bed , caressed his head , face ,, his whole body lovingly ,, pecked his forehead ,, few drops fell on manu's hair ,, a weak nd painful smile crept on his face ,, he covered manu with d blanket ,, Geet was standing there with tough face ,but her mind was fighting with numerous Qs .

Maan came close to her ,, wretched ,, ashamed ,, held her shoulders nd turned her to face him ,, Geet turned her face side way.

Maan: Geet , don't hide anything now ,, there is no escape from my Qs ,, tell me ... kya manu mera ...

Geet: stop it ,,,, stop it mr Khurana ,, u cn't force me ,, u don't have any right to invade in my pvt life ,, stay in ur limit .

Maan: G e e t ,,, I know , it's hurting for u but u have to clear this ... ek bar kaha do ki manu mera beta hei ?

Geet smirked nd gave a sarcastic look to him thinking that still he need her stamp on his act ,, his heart nd mind wr not ready to accept d ugly truth.

Geet: Nahi .. Manu mera beta hei ,, Geet singh ka .

Maan: I'm asking about his father .

Geet: who d hell r u ?

Maan: G e e t ,, plzz don't make things difficult ,, tell me once .

Geet: nahi ,, mind ur own business nd don't interfere in my life ,, I don't want to face that agony again ,, I don't want any blame nd accusations on me nd my child ,, I don't want to hurt uncle nd aunty ,, I don't want to break ur family ,, I don't want to be a Curse again ... A jinx for u nd ur family ,, stay away from me mr Khurana , it's better for all .

She moved near sleeping Manu ,, took him in her arms to go ,, Maan came in front of her .

Maan: no Geet ,, u wr not a curse ,, u wr not a Jinx ,, it was me who gave only pain to all ,, scattered ur life ,, hurt my parents nd ashamed them ,, it was me who was blind in my arrogance ,, it was me who was at fault .. i'm a curse ... A jinx .

Geet gave a cold look to him nd moved out without giving any reply ,, Maan was watching her wretched nd broken ,, he slumped on d floor,, his body was shivering with this truth that he was d person who destroyed Geet nd not only this he was a father of a child .. OMG!! Manu is his child ,, there was no forgiveness for him ,, even any punishment cdn't ease d pain which he was feeling .
