Part 14
After Maan reached his house he immediately got freshed-up all ready to leave for his office..
As he reached the hall, he saw his mom relaxing on the couch watching some random show on TV...
Maan : mom... I'm going office..!!
Avantika : what..??!! Sagai k din koi office jata hai kya..??
Maan : what's with u... Subah se sagai-sagai laga rakkha hai... Sagai hui toh kya i should stop breathing...??
He said frustrated... As he was really not in good mood right now..
Avantika : ye kya hai Maan..? why are u being soo rude..? Sagai k baad ye haal hai toh I'm afraid shadi takk kya hoga..?
Maan sighed... He realized that it was way too blunt n mean all that he said...
Maan : aap mujhe ghr pe kyu rookna chahti ho..? What will i do sitting home .? Dream about my shadi which is supposed to happen in the assessment year 😔
Avantika (st) : uff... Shadi ki baat me bhi isko income tax sujh rahi hai... Kya karu mai iska
(to maan) : Maan...!! Tum na apni shadi ko atleast apne income tax se alag rakho... It's my earnest request.
By the way... Now i understand ki tum itana chidh kyu rahe ho..? Shadi agle saal hai issiliye na...?
On that he blushed a little... But soon composed himself...
Maan (st) : abb aapko kaise batau ki sach kya hai..??
(to mom) : aisa kuchh nahi hai mom.. Anyway i'm busy if u have forgotten.
He stressed on "busy" as that's what made his shadi delayed .. Uff
Avantika : c'mon Maan... Now u'r over-reacting.. Kal tumhi ne toh kaha tha ki its too early.. Abb sagai k liye toh i had committed, but for shadi i had option.. Maine sabb tumhare liye kiya beta...
Maan (st) : uff isko kehte hai "to dig ur own grave".
Abb kya kahu maa se ...? Ki sagai se pehhle toh i would hav been ok if u say shadi is after 5 years... But now after knowing my fiancee... I want shadi as soon as possible..
Avantika : MAAN...??? Kaha kho gaye???
Maan : huh... Nothing mom... I'm going office
And he ran before she could grill him more on the shadi thing...

Geet reached her room and tried to open it.. But found it locked from inside.
Geet : umm...??? Ye mere room ko kya hua...? Door locked...???
Kon hai ander...? Open it..!! Who is it..??? (she shouted)
Voice : sorry ..no entry for u inside.. Just go away from here..
Geet : Pari...!! Ye kya mazzak hai..? Open the door... What are u up to now..
On that Pari marched to the door and opened it with jerk...
Pari : arrey waah...!! Ye achha hai... Sagaai kya hui u forgot that i always do this when i'm angry on u..!!

Geet : ok
She replied coolly, went inside the room and locked it.
Pari : what the hell..
She started banging the door...
Pari : Geet .. U cheater... I hate u... And bye...
Geet : Pari i know what u gonna do now i'm waiting for that...
She shouted form inside which Pari didn't hear.. As she went away towards the hall of Handa villa and show her anger to aunty now who is the only person who can bear her nautanki and calm her anger with tasty food.

Maan reached his office and tried to engross in work to keep his mind away from the mess... But had a hard time as his mind was moving to Geet every moment whenever his eyes fell on his eyes fell on their engagement ring... He shied remembering all their talks and how sweetly or better to say cleverly he stole a sweet memory by kissing her... Uff it was the sweetest moment of his life... Obviously after the one in which he realized his love for her and the one when he discovered that he's getting engaged to her...
Then sighed as other not-so-sweet-moments of the day also followed.
He pushed them backk and concentrated on his work.

Pari was sitting in dining table having her favorite snack made by aunty obviously after finishing off with her usual nautanki... And Rano was serving her..
Pari : ok aunty.. Aapko toh maine maaf kiya ... But only because of this yummy wada u made for me... Parr Geet ko mai nahi chhodungi..
Rano : thank u meri maa.. Mujhe maaf karne k liye.. Abb meri beti ko bhi maaf kardo... Already she is very agitated since morning...

And Rano narrated all that happened since the shadi thing started, including her fainting seeing Maan... But all of that from her point-of-view.
Pari : ohh... Is it..?? Fine i will not be hard on her.. Parr its high time she learns a lesson so that she doesn't hide anything from me.
Rano : that's between u 2... I will not say anything on that. But for now don't tell anyone abt the engagement thing..
Pari : why..?

They hugged lightly, and Rano moved to kitchen...
She moved to Geet's room, in full intention to tease her to death.

The lone moments of Geet were very torturous for her.. She couldn't take her mind off from their moment together... every moment her right hand will move to her ring fingre and start playing with the ring, that was sitting their proudly saying "now she belongs to someone"
Geet : babaji... Ye kya... I'm really engaged to Maan sir..!! Maan sirr...!!???!!

Heart : haan thik hai... Kabhi-kabhi you are also needed... But leave that... U know how nice it felt when he held my hands 😳
and then that sweet kiss.

At this Geet jumped in their conversation suddenly...

and she pouted as they were making fun of her.

And she picked her cell to call him... But stopped immediately, when she heard some-one entering her room.

Pari came in closed the door and sat on the bed. Then she turned to look at Geet

Pari : I saw that.
Geet came and settled beside her on bed.

And she told her all the events that took place till today in short.

And then she narrated all that happened between them in the garden, still holding back with the kiss thing. 😆

It was evening Maan was sitting in his office his mood was again off for 2 reasons..
Firstly his fight with Rahul.. and second and most important was shadi after a year...!!
Maan's Heart : how will I wait that long..?
Mind : arre stupid.. she's coming for articleship na.. 😛

Mind : so kya..? office romance chalu.😉
Heart : umm... parr mujhe shadi jaldi chahiye na...😒

And just then his cell rung, bringing him out of his self-talks.
He was in no mood to pick it.. But somehow decided to check who is calling before ignoring the call...
He lifted his cell half-heartedly and what he saw just made him shockked... Surprizzed.. Happy..
It said..
"Geet calling"
Maan : OMG...OMG..!! am I dreaming...?
He picked his cell and started dancing with it...!!
Mind : oye...!! Phone cut jaaegi.. pick it up first.😆
Maan : ohh yess yess... 😃
He sat in his chair and composed his over-excited self and finally touched the green button to pick the call.
Just then he heard the click of the knob from his office door indicating someone coming in... he got startled and looked-up to see the intruder... and due to that he touched the red side of the cell which cuts the call.
He looked at his cell thinking it got answered but got shocked to see "call ended"
Maan (st) : no.. shit shit shittt...!!! Why me 😒
And when he was all busy cursing himself and his luck... he heard a voice.
Khata jo ho gayi mujhse
toh karna maaf O mere yaar...
Maan got shocked realizing who it is.
