Its not that they know each other for decade, and Maan is not at fault fully at his place. No other man will be able to see his wife in other man arms, how much he is close and dear to her. And more over Maan doesn't know about Geet and Armaan relation.

Both maaneet have falt geet ko maan ko sab pehle hi bata dena chaiye tha aur maan ko geet ko slap nahi marna chaiye tha

i think fault lies on both parts prank should not be such that it can make other people angry to the point he slap her in spite loving her too much jo apne hote hai wo hi to gussa karte hai it clearly show how much he loved her that he cant tolerate such thing in his life and if geet did mistake she can be forgiven but not maan why?because she is woman?why we always pity women?why cant we portray them to be strong?in-spite geet could have said sorry for her prank and maan should have said sorry for his doing in love there is no punishment for small small thing,but there should be understanding and forgiveness not ego and punishment.yes it should be punished if he had hit her for wrong reasons,purposely, just show her he is men and has got wright to hit her,or hit her without her fault but here both are equally responsible for all the situation created than i will say , forgiveness is the biggest punishment u are giving some one in this short of situation if we started to punished our loved ones for small small thing love will vanish and remaining will be sour relation ship without love so i think this is very sensitive issue and it all depends on person and his/her nature how they behave in such condition if geet will forgive him she will get more love and understanding and trust from him but if she will punish him may be bitterness will stay there and it may in future effect their relationship.forgiveness is the biggest weapon to win someones love and trust and is biggest punishment who loves u a lot as that person will feel so much ashamed of his/her doing that next time he will think twice doing that.if u read low that provocation for the situation and crime this factor gets in to consideration while giving judgment and every coin has 2 sides so i will say both people who favors and oppose the punishment for hitting wife are right in somewhat in their thinking and wrong also so i will like u to decide where u want to go with this story.thanks- i dunno.
