Honestly, has Maan gone mental??? Did he have a nervous breakdown???

I do not understand his actions at all.

If he is trying to atone for his sins, this is not the way! Forcing Geet, scaring her, threatening her? How is this method supposed to make up for the pain and humiliation he caused her?

What is to stop Geet from marrying him and then attempting suicide? There is only so much that even Geet can take!
