it was twelve at night and neither of them were having any program to sleep or it would be apt to say that their sleep was playing the hide and seek with them just like they are doing .. it was him who should be upset with her abnormal behavior and here she was sitting with the foul mood and all the tension was dancing on her head.. he again checked at his cell phone and seeing no reply he just switched off his laptop in the utmost frustration..

maan : why will she care if we will fail tomorrow..its my fault that i considered her my friend it was my fault ..

he looked at the work that he has almost completed and even when he was not willing still he opened the mail and sent her the portion that she was to present.. there was some corner of his heart that still can't see her failing in anything she was different and special..and this attracted him.. the maan whom everyone thinks twice to talk was now so friendly and comfortable with someone that was something new .. he was not a introvert.. but he believes that people just know to take advantage of the situation and this thinking always kept him aloof .. since the betrayal that his father had in his business maan knew that some things you always need to be personal and all the revelation gives nothing but the ultimate betrayal and the detachment of that feeling which you loved to feel once..

Though maan's father covered up the loss and betrayal but the mindset that was formed in the mind of a seven year maan was not changed and with the advent of passing time he was given the personality that was hard to find ..

he was not emotionless but he love to feel the emotion that he choose to feel..

he was arrogant and the attitude that MSK holds was hereditary , that was passed to him from his forefathers.. and maan singh khurana never fails to show that he belongs to the khurana's..

tears were cascading her eyes she looked around and messaged..

a smile formed on his m shaped lips .. he was glad that she messaged but what he saw made him restless and this was something that he was not expecting his mere confession the truth of his heart made her so confused and restless that she choose to ignore him..

he knew that it was very much unlike her so he just chose to look at the matter and was about to

message her to calm her but it was just in a spur of moment that he got again something that made him lost his composure

maan's cell phone beeped and then he looked at her sad smiley she sent, he just sent her a calming reply...

i should have known.. don't be in any kind of pressure we will be friends first and that will be the relation that we found first ...

geet looked at the message and replied him naughtily...

maan you forget you hated my presence..

maan looked at the message and knew that she still believes that but he was repulsive to her friends not her...

maan " that we will talk after the presentation geet ... please yar kuch toh prepare karo"

That was the last message that geet got.. last day an all the days restlessness came as a pleasant shock to geet and this made her study hard she looked at the material that maan had mailed she whole heartedly learnt prepared and see what all he selected for her..

geet was amused that he actually sent the easiest portion to her she was weak and he was doing everything that could be beneficial for her.. maan had purposefully given the queries section to her with the answers and questions that he wanted her to answer and this will be great .. she just learnt all the things and concepts making the doubts section separate for maan to solve for her just like he was doing from the last one year

XYZ COLLEGE

First year of engineering...

geet look at the surrounding of the college she was scared .. hailing from a conservative family she was being thrown out into a new world the protectiveness that she had experienced till now was something that she was still not in the terms of having a group which she would call as friends ...

geet looked at the voice which called her ..she turned and saw her two school friends coming towards her they were the ones she had seen after six months..

she smiled and looked at both of them

surbhi and varun the two she had back at school she was now feeling relieved ...

maan looked at the atmosphere he was not used to this.. he was suddenly feeling very lonely no one know what he wanted he had selected the IT branch as he was way too interested in the field .. there was something in it that he was not in terms of selecting what his family wanted and they had complied to what he wanted...

morning at the breakfast table ..

This was the very first day of the college .. maan has selected the IT branch as he was very much interested in this but his dad wanted him to have a degree in civil and wanted his son to look after his business .. but maan wanted to choose the IT and he just complied to his demand and which parent won't.. Same was maan's father it was true that his son was a person of minimal words and when he asked him what he wanted raj without saying anything made sure that maan was happy but still there was somewhere he wanted maan to do what he wanted ..

maan was so happy when he got admission in the college which he wanted but that strangely didn't give him the much needed peace that he should have he just wanted this but his dreams were so small in front of the expectation that he sensed in his father's eyes ..

it was the first year maan was the topper of the IT department and one day , after his exams he just came to his dad with a form to KC.. The staffs knew him and he just greeted them and waited for his father so that he could say him what he was thinking..

raj came after his meeting and saw maan waiting this was rare since maan was very particular about his time , his schedule but today he was there leaving his athletics practice...

maan saw his dad and stand in the respect that he always for his father , he knew that how much hard work his father has put to bring KC to the level that it is today.. he can't forget the betrayal that his business partner did making them face the heavy losses and even though he was just seven at that time still he knew that his father had struggled to live up to the expectations of the family and the staff... and last night after getting his result he finally decided to leave the IT and join civil engineering he don't want anyone to hurt his father again.. and knowing his father nature he knew that he should pursue which will be in the benefit of everyone...

maan : dad i want to talk to you..

raj nodded and asked him to sit.. maan forwarded his form that he has filled and raj when looked at it he was shocked to see maan wanting to change his disciple of engineering...

maan : dad please complete the formalities i will submit it today and then i will get the migration..

he was saying this much confidence and just was not able to answer raj's next question..

raj : why maan..

maan : please dad let me do it...
