(In this FF I'm trying to put some Urdu Words and customs related to Muslims Religion. As I don't belong to this religion it's quite possible for me to make few mistakes. So please consider them my learning effort and help me to correct them, if you find some false 😊)

"Geet!" Rano shouted. Startling Geet found her mother standing on the entrance of her room. She was caught. She left scattered paper pieces on bed and stood up with trembling legs. "I'm sor,"

"No one listen me! No one! I'd denied Khan Saab, I don't want to send my daughter but he didn't listen me. I told you Geet, not to touch this letter, not to talk any outsider but you too, don't listen me! My all effort, all struggle to keep my child away from this slime, is going waste and all due to my own people. Whom I understood my well-wisher coming out my secret enemy who just want to suck my blood!"

"Maa what are you saying. Khan Chacha is not like this' Geet hurried to support mother but Rano jerked her back in anger. "Don't try to take his favour Geet!" She pointed finger on her. "I know how he is and what he wants to make you Geet!!" Her body shook in weakness and rage. "But I will not let him get succeess in his wish. I will not let drop a mark of this dirt on our dignity. I can't see my husband's dreams breaking into pieces. I will myself go to him and ask what he wants? Why did he take my Geet only when many other daughters must be in his hands? I have to go!" Rano like a mad-woman blabbered. Hearing her shout Geet got scared. She couldn't let Rano go to Khan Saab in her this abnormal condition. And above of all the weather was also going dark, like a storm was about to cross their way. Everything seemed horrible and awful. She held Rano to stop her but Rano had become adamant. "Leave me Geet. Let me go!" She shouted out.

Unlocking the door she came out.

"Maa please stop! It's not safe for you" Geet was scaring looking at her mother's weak trembling body. She followed her but Rano didn't consorted. Suddenly Rano stopped. They had come out of home, in notorious lane among unashamed people, she couldn't let Geet be stay here for a second.

"Geet go inside" She said but Geet refused to leave her. "No I'll also come with you"

"Geet I said go inside!" Rano dragged her violently and threw her inside home. Geet slammed on ground right away. Rano locked door from outside and ignored Geet scream for opening the door. She was banging on door but Rano didn't give her ear to this devastating noise and her daughter's cry. She walked ahead ignoring all those vicious stares which she was getting from passing people. Some drunken and some were smirking on her stats. But she kept going when suddenly she heard a known voice of a woman.

"Where are you running away Rano?"

Rano ignored.

"Is everything fine at home?"

Rano didn't give ear to her question.

"Heard that Geet has got call from "Bade Nawab?"

Rano legs stopped right away. She curled fist in anger but didn't want to reply back. Closing down her eyes then opened them and started walking, when again, some unexpected words stopped her legs.

"By the way, how much did she get for "that one night'?

"Jarina! Mind your tongue!" Rano shouted.

"Yah Allah, now what did I say wrong?" Woman danced her hands in air "Everyone know that your dear Geet had gone to Nawab's in night. If your Geet is that much innocent, and untouched then why she goes to Nawab's in night? That too, secretly" She smirked wickedly.

Rano remained silent. Not because she'd nothing to say but, she didn't want to make fun of Geet in front of those people who had their all eyes were already on her. She avoided woman's words and started her journey.

"By the way, did you like new invitation Rano?" Jarina twirled her long fake braid in fun. "Geet'll get handsome amount there. I've personally given her name to the Nawab and when I described about how beautiful the girl would be, the old man was like, ready to shower a thousands of gold coins over me" She laughed.

Rano looked her like a wounded lioness whose baby was in danger. She walked toward Jarina.

"Anyways I have told you a million times Rano that give your daughter to me. Had she been in my Kotha' she would've been ruling like a queen.."

"Jarina!!!" Rano hand clashed on her cheek that for a moment, every movement paused in surround. "Dare you to take my Geet name from your filthy mouth Jarina Begum. I'll burn you alive"

Shocked Jarina held her burning cheek with one hand and looked her angering. Rano glared all spectators and walked back to home, with burning heart.

"You'll regret Rano. I promise I will make your life worse than hell. You've very proud over your daughter but you'll see her being demolished in front of all and that I will show you. This is my promise to you" She knocked her chest in anger "I will make Geet queen of my courtesan. I will make her a woman of all men, a famous courtesan! A "Tawayaf"" Jarina laughed like a demon. Her creepy laugh chased Rano but Rano showed unaffected. But in heart she was worried. She prayed her Babaji to save her daughter and her honour.

"Till I'm alive Jarina Begum, your hand can't touch my daughter and if anyway I die, my soul will guard her!" Rano said patiently straightening her way toward back to home. When she had known there was no fault of Khan Saab in this matter, there was no use of going to him. She only wanted to hug her daughter.

Meanwhile, When Geet found herself alone and shivering in despair she runs toward stairs. She descended down running and stopped on the edge of bridge and looked down at her reflection in water. She tried to find moon there, but it was daytime, he couldn't come to comfort her. Above her head dark clouds were making atmosphere equal to night but her moon was not present.

"You also left me alone" She cried bending head down. Her tears drops dripped in water and vanished. "I am feeling so alone. Please come back. Please' But there was no one to hear her plead. Nothing was able to soothe her upset heart. She was helpless and anxious. She folded her knees and sat down cuddling in cold weather, resting back on wall behind and sobbed. Her eyes were curious to seek for anything.. Anything which could have composed her flustered mood. Slowly her sobs turned silent. Her eyes were yet pushing tears out but sound of her cry had lost in deepening weather. She looked toward disastrous water. It was not silent as always, but fast blowing wind had forced waves to flutter in speed. The abnormal movement attracted her eyes. Seemed it was calling her for a hug, spreading arms of wave everywhere.

"Do you want me to come to you? Will you let me come to you for sometimes?" Geet asked while wiping her eyes.

Water flapped in more matured manner. Geet smiled. She stood up. Slowly she put her one foot in dark and chilled water then another one. She slowly walked deep and deeper and water overcame till her waist. Geet spread her arms and buried her body more down. The coldness soothed her burning heart. She slept over water facing sky up, slowly paddling water with her legs and arms.

She smiled. After a long years she was swimming. She closed eyes and let water sweep her away far. She remembered how her father used to teach her swimming in a small fountain of her house. It used to be very rare when she could recall something about her father because she was very small when had to leave her home. But today unknowingly she remembered him. When she had to come here, sometimes she used to take bathe in this pond with big girls but afterward Rano disallowed her to do it. But today it felt she was again living in past.

Geet didn't know where this water was carrying her away. But she was feeling better and peace. In sky thunder had started sounding up but Geet didn't fear. It was a call for her that her friends were present there caring for her.

Suddenly she felt someone pulled her arm. Alarming Geet opened her eyes and found the same guy was looking at her constantly and her arm was in his grip.

She started struggling but how much she moved his grip was getting tighter. Tears started making way out through her eyes, "please leave my hand" she cried in lower voice. She was having trouble to stay still in boasting water. Her legs were paddling fast and her hand was battling to be freed. She lost her balance to stand still and was about to sink inside when Maan pulled her out in a jerk. He grabbed her waist and clutched her hairs making her trap within his tight frame and to force her stop struggling. Geet looked him shocked like a caged bird, frightened and panicking.

"Who are you?" Maan questioned. He was yet wandering about this strange girl whom he'd found lying upon water waves. He was stood on the roof of theatre-building nearby and observing the area through binoculars when found a girl flapping upon water like she was dead. Hurriedly he rushed to save her and found, he knew this girl.

"Who are you Geet?" He clutched her hairs tighter feeling depression for not to understand this girl. It couldn't be normal to find a girl swimming in an abandoned pond, in this wild weather when anytime rain could have started. Any normal girl could have felt fright being alone in this dangerous nature but she appeared more fearing when saw a human, when saw him. Her body was shivering terribly but Maan couldn't have differentiate was it due to the chilled wind or due to his touch. But he noticed, she had stopped the fight and was staring him constantly. He released her hairs when found her silent.

"Who are you Geet? What are you doing here?"

"How do you know my name?" Geet asked and her voice seemed alien to come out. Her all engrossment was on the place where he was holding her, on her waist. She could feel the warmth of his touch through her wet dress and then suddenly she realised, what was happening! She tried to move back when found she had lost her Dupatta somewhere in water. But Maan pulled her back, closer. "You can't go without replying me. What were you doing in water? What was your need to swim in this dangerous weather? What if something wrong happened..."then suddenly he stopped. "Why I'm worrying about her safety?" Maan thought. He watched Geet, fascinating deeper in her beauty. Her long hairs were messed. Few strands were scattered messily over her forehead. Water drops were playing sliding on her smooth cheeks. Her lips were full and beautifully crafted and trembling. Her dress was entirely wet and her slender arms were folded firmly near his heart. She was so timid and untouched that he couldn't stop himself but to praise her beauty once again,

"You are indeed, so beautiful, Geet"

She looked him alarmed. She got scared. She was not used to hear her praise by a man who was trapping her in his arms. "I want to go back home" she said nervously.

Maan realised she was terribly nervous. He wanted to ask why she always feel afraid seeing him. He wanted to ask why she always tries to escape whenever they cross each other's way? Why he feels a zeal inside her when finds no one around but after encountering with stranger she seems hiding her vitality. He wanted ask why she was so mysterious. What was the need she was there? And above of all question he wanted to ask, why she was not desperate to come out from his grip? Why she was silently letting her trembling body feel relief within his arms, as if feeling, secured"

"I want to go back home" Geet again pleaded breaking his chain of thoughts.

"I'll drop you home in my car"

She shook head right away. "No you can't. I myself can go" She removed his hands and Maan let her do it without another hassle. She moved toward water when Maan held her arm, "Geet it's dangerous. You can't swim in this wild water" He sounded worried.

"This water can't harm me. It's my friend" She said patiently. Strangely her voice appeared no more trembled or frightened. It was clear. "They know me more than anyone else can do" She moved her arms in water seemed hugging wild waves. She started going away. Maan kept staring her like a dreamer, lost in her words. And when he realized she vanished somewhere within this thick waves, his heart sunk.

"Geet!" He called her name in fear. He runs some far if could have glimpsed her but water had become thicker. Hurriedly he removed his coat and jumped into pond, calling her name, to find her. Rain drops had started falling down, hazing his view so far. He was in mid water, wandering here and there, when suddenly he found a little shadow, to the last end of pond. It was she, he knew. She was safe. His going life came back into soul. He smiled. Like the way she had done, he also slept over waves, spreading his arms out and facing sky up. Rain had started cooling down his already wet body and he felt this experience amazing. "This water is my friends" Her saying words echoed in his mind. Slowly he stirred his arms and legs in water, giving his body a slight push to sweep away independently. Strangely this wild weather did not harmed him, but they made his day more beautiful and serene like a new beginning before sunrise.

i am really feeling bad for geet ..

the way zarina want her to in her home ..i am scared that she will ruin geet's life ..

oh i don't want that ..

i am confuse how geet reaches to maan when she is not allowed to move out of the house ..

maan saw geet again ..this time all lost inher beauty ..
