Geet had to abort the baby and Maan left her ... but why ? to save family's honor & pride ? Loved the part where Dev says Geet knew he will come & she also knows where to find him , but only if she wants .

Interesting ! Who is she calling ? Maan ?
I just noticed that all 3 of your current stories have something common.
Maan has hurt Geet in one way or another -- he is working on getting redemption and she is working on forgiving. I'm sure they will follow different paths to get there.

part 13 - so geet was pregnant and ahd to abort the child b'coss of ther family's pride...is that the reason maan left..?...or he left hence geet aborted the child

so initials at each painting were mk's,

now when maan came again so she should have given a chance to him

dev is right they need to come themselves and talk with each other to solve the problem

geet called him...hope they could find out the solution

Pari closed the door behind her and immediately she sensed something was different. The atmosphere was unusual, uncomfortable... and empty.

Throwing her bag on the floor, she rushed back out of the house and climbed over the frame of the stairs which adjoined her apartment with the one next door. After persistent knocks, a perplexed Dev opened the door.

"She's gone!"

"He isn't picking up his phone." Dev paced back and forth, running his hand through his hair as he kept his phone glued to his ear. Opposite him, Pari's head was in her hands, her face contorted as the thoughts of the unimaginable kept flooding back to her.

"We should have told her. She had a right to know, we should have told her everything."

"How could we? His mere presence shook her up, if she found out the truth then it affect her badly."

"You don't think it's going to affect her when she travels god knows how many miles and discovers everything?"

"Maybe she won't find him..."

"I spoke to him, Dev!"

Dev stopped pacing and paused. Pari's eyes fell to the floor as Dev perched on the coffee table which was a few feet away.

"What did he tell you?"

Her lips trembled as she replied. "He told me enough... enough that was required to stop Geet from going after him. But she must have spoken to him and left right away, I didn't even get a chance..."

"When exactly did you call him, Pari? And how did you get his number?"

Earlier that day...

Pari's fingers itched as she saw Dev's phone on the table, its pristine shininess beckoning to her. The man himself was in the shower, and as much as she fought against her mind to resist, the naturally curious side of her gave way to her temptation.

She was scrolling through the phone when she came across a contact list. Surprisingly, he didn't have many contacts so Maan's name was uncharacteristically near the top.

Her hand tightened around the phone at first, adamant not to go any further. But then a flashback of Geet came to her mind, and the tears that had spilt from her eyes when she revealed the extent of their liaison in the past; and the unfortunate effects which visibly haunted her sister to this day.

Before she could think twice, she pressed call. After three rings, he picked up.

"It's me, Pari."

"Pari Handa?"

She didn't reply.

"How did you get my number?"

"Where are you now?"

"Why are you asking?"

She glanced nervously at the stairs; the shower water was still running, to her relief. "Just give me a straight answer, please."

"How's Geet?"

"Maan, don't be difficult. Please."

"I-"

"Papa, come and look at this drawing I made of you and Mama!"

Pari's eyes widened in shock. "Papa?"

Maan didn't speak, but the young girl's voice was all Pari needed to hear further before she cut the call.

15 minutes later, Dev descended downstairs to find a forlorn looking Pari.

"Pari? Is everything ok?" He asked as he sat beside her.

She didn't move. Her hands fisted into her shirt.

"When exactly were you going to tell me that Maan was a married man with a child?"

His face fell.

Nice story.
Geet a artist staying with her sister Pari.
Though she hates him she has his initials as her sign.
Maan has come for her. Now left thinking she would be happy.
Geet has gone for Maan while Maan has a child.
Waiting for next
